My first Mario.
You can crush the boss with Giant Mario.
I like it!!
Giantization is great, isn’t it…
Let’s defeat the boss with Mini Mario then!
Bring a giant mushroom to Bowser.
I love Kame Mario.
But there are few places to become.
When you think about it, it’s amazing that two of the regular stages were essentially treated like hidden ones.
I was afraid of spiders.
I wanted to play something like this, a simple game that gives off that kind of vibe.
I really like you.
I thought it was such a terrible feature that enemies dance to the stage BGM, sometimes stopping you or even turning around.
I still feel frustrated because I can’t find anyone who shares my opinion.
I was playing poker with Luigi forever.
I played an online match with my friends and it was super fun.
Looking back now, I think it’s a good rule.
I was able to participate in a project where we could receive a T-shirt for defeating the boss at the World Hobby Fair.
I was nervous while being displayed on the monitor in front of the stage, but I was able to defeat Boss Sambo safely.
I think I was in the lower grades of elementary school.
I thought it had been a long time since there was a side-scrolling Mario, so I’m glad it finally came.
Going to w4 and w7 is a bit of a hassle.
I like breaking goals.
Wall jumping is a revolution.
I recently learned that Turtle Mario can move a bit faster underwater.
There was no one to communicate with…
I liked rolling around with turtles.
I liked how the serious players of the star-stealing battle game quietly uploaded videos on YouTube.
It became such a hit that it served as the foundation for side-scrolling Mario for about 12 years until UDX.
I remember that rolling with a turtle was slightly slower than running normally.
Is this the first appearance of Bone Bowser?
For someone in their early thirties now, it’s quite possible that this is their first Mario.
Luigi
Wow wow
I think there are definitely people in their early 20s for whom this is their first Mario game.
Because it had a long breath.
For some reason, you can play the same mini-game as in 64.
The package stands out conspicuously.
I think you remember the special manga where Korokoro Kids’ Keshikas-kun’s dad gets tricked into buying a fake New Mario.
For some reason, an anime fan wiki that is unusually knowledgeable about “Waa! Waa!”
I have no complaints about this work, but I wonder why there has been such a long gap without a new 2D Mario game…
I like this song.
The Advance era felt like it could be covered just fine with a remake… that’s the impression I got.
It’s the same with the NEW Mario series, but if you continuously release action games, it tends to get repetitive and sales decline…
Rest periods are also important.
It was kind of just right.
Even though I was looking at the strategy guide, I was able to collect all the Star Coins without too much difficulty.
If I’m playing with someone, it’s fine, but I might have too strong a memory of being frustrated with the star coins in Wii.
A game whose box is an unusual color other than black.
Don’t you sometimes pass through the floor or ceiling and end up in strange places?
Although Advance was unique and fun, even though it was a port, the standard Mario made us wait until just before the DS release.
The secret challenge mode feels really like a fake trick from Wazap.
The secret challenge mode is too much of a hotbed for bugs.
It’s common for series to only feature 3D content after they’ve been made 3D.
Nintendo has an image of fairly utilizing the 2D route as well.
Is the secret challenge mode the one where you can’t scroll back?
LRLRXXYY
The secret challenge mode was so much about wall-breaking that it was not only covered in strategy guides but also introduced in a magazine, so it seems they were prepared for bugs and anything else.
Scores kept adding up endlessly, so I was earning them meaninglessly in my childhood.
“Scroll locking and wall passing, just like Mario’s flower.”
I liked how it produced a variation close to the goal stomping in Donkey 2, where you grab the very top of the goal.
I think it was a nice twist that in later series, collecting the highest point on each stage became a collectible element.
I loved being able to change the wallpaper on the lower screen.
Bowser falls into the lava normally and melts away except for his bones.
Why are you setting up lava…
It was disappointing that after clearing the first castle on the eighth stage, I could no longer listen to the BGM from the previous map.
It’s great that it turns into a competition for Toad Mario when playing with friends…
I think there was a trend around the 64~GC era where 2D action games were seen as somewhat outdated.
I was playing mini-games way more than the main game… like poker and bomb sorting.
I simply liked stockpiling giant mushrooms and trampling them in my favorite places.
The feeling of wanting to try it was overwhelming when I saw the commercial.
As the name “New” implies, there are aspects that have become the foundation of modern Mario, not limited to 2D.
I have a memory that having beans stocked was good… or rather, it seems there were places I couldn’t enter without stocked beans.
I’m grateful that being able to stock giant mushrooms will definitely become a breeding ground for bugs.
The thread image and Mario Kart were god-tier games on the DS.
There are a lot of strange enemies.
I was just playing mini-games.
I might not even remember if I cleared the main story.
I guess you did it just in case.
I’m not really fond of the applause when I get that coin.
Sure, I’m happy to have collected the coins, but it’s not like I’m doing it for praise or anything…
When I played it in elementary school, I was scared of the rustling sound of W8 and couldn’t clear it for a while.
The competition is simple and interesting.
My sister had it.
I was playing forever in a mini-game.
I liked the one that sorts Bob-ombs and throws Spike Balls.
I love how tiny the Goomba is, just like Mini Mario!
The background music of Mario’s 1-1 that is most impressive after the original is the one from New.
Wow!
Wasn’t there a map somewhere full of gross little jelly beans?
I didn’t know about the secret challenge mode…
It was a birthday present…
I played with the NEW Wii and U enough to make the files glow solo.
I haven’t touched mobile device 1 and 2 at all.
Is this the first time the sound of the Piranha Plant’s chompers clicking together has been heard?
There are surprisingly many enemies that you’ll remember later on.
The gimmick of stepping on the cork plug stuck in the 2-6 block with a pump and blowing away the upper pack is really memorable.
I still don’t understand the intention behind its installation, what was that…
I feel like I couldn’t achieve the hidden goal that required the shell at all, like in a tower or something.
The feeling of monotony in the latter half of the new series’ four works was quite severe.
By the time it turns into a flying squirrel from a propeller, it feels like they’re really running out of ideas, so it’s not surprising that it ends up becoming a wonder from there…
I really liked the overwhelming feeling of the Gold Flower in New2.
Is it really okay that I can even defeat Bowser?
Wonder feels like it’s past its prime.
I had fun repeatedly watching the official super play where Mame Mario rides the Killer and clears everything in the end.
I have the impression that new2 and the Wii U version were wandering around without a break.
I like games where I can explore every corner, like Odyssey.
I dislike that Galaxy can’t progress without interference from something like Master Hand.
I’m controlling Mario, so I don’t need that hand!
I liked that the bosses in 2D Mario were unique and full of character.
It’s nice that the weak enemies have been scaled up.
Compared to later works, the course is shorter and allows for quick play, but there are no high-difficulty stages after clearing it.
It gives the impression of a standard and straightforward work, for better or worse.
I’ve played all four games, but I’m not very fond of the New series songs.
At first it was normal, but the four pieces were all similar songs and it was tough.
Wonder was a strange game that felt like playing a miniaturized Mario in 2D.
