Dynasty Warriors 7: Xtreme Legends
You might be surprised by the number of characters.
The Legend of 7 has a lot of “if” scenarios and many stages, which is good, but because of the number of characters, it feels like you might wonder how many times you’ll play through these stages.
If you add the weapon DLC, the variety of weapons will increase, so it doesn’t seem like you’ll get bored of the action right away.
I can’t remember if it was 7 or Musou, but I stopped playing because the PS4 was making a loud noise.
Huh? Wasn’t this character around back then? There are quite a few instances of that.
>>4
Common even in the Warring States period
>>4
Although it is said that he died following Sun Quan, Ren Shi appears normally.
“Isn’t Sengoku 5 decreasing too much instead?”
The character portrayal has changed a lot, so if I do it like in the old days, I might be surprised by Liu Bei’s thinness.
Both the face and the character
I think Sengoku 5 wanted to be like Sangokushi Origins.
I thought there are fewer characters since it’s been two years since I played Origins, and why isn’t Sun Ce using a tonfa?
>>9
Try doing around 7 to 8.
On the contrary, it has become so enlarged that it only shows signs of death.
I couldn’t handle the demo of Origin because it was too difficult, so I’m grateful for the sudden release of Abyss.
>>11
I think the image will change again when you try the product version.
Sengoku 5 will probably follow the flow of Sanada Maru, and since there are fewer characters, they introduced various new ones…
In Sengoku 5, many existing characters weren’t successfully revamped, and the new characters didn’t have much appeal either.
But the changes with Imagawa Yoshimoto, Ieyasu, and Nohime were good.
Well, since Nohime dies quickly, her charm didn’t really come through…
>>14
Nohime dies right away…
Making Ieyasu into a handsome young boy is unacceptable.
The face of the raccoon in 1 is supreme.
>>15
It feels weird to have a younger version up to Sekigahara, but since my father, who is neither Ieyasu nor a daimyo, is close in age, he seems quite young compared to Nobunaga, especially when you consider that Nagamasa is around that age. So, starting off with an old man doesn’t really fit, does it?
>>31
It’s fine to be a shota at first.
Going with a childish appearance until the end is just too lazy, isn’t it?
>>32
Even though we have arrived at Honnoji, we are still not at 40 yet… and Yukimura, in Sanada Maru, was in his middle age around 50.
I thought Mr. Kanetou would be in 6, but it started from 7.
There are so many characters that it’s understandable to follow historical events as a faction instead of individual stories, with branches based on certain conditions for “if” scenarios.
The demo of Origins skips a lot of the product version’s tutorial, so it’s understandable that it feels hard to understand and difficult.
The stage is also a scenario where the allies can easily retreat.
I think the trial version should have had stages where it felt a bit better to win.
>>18
I thought the same with Sengoku 5, but it’s a shame that recent Musou demo versions don’t really convey the appeal of the main game.
>>21
Rather, it’s the result of cramming in too much appeal, which is why it has surpassed 1 million downloads and has also hit success overseas, where Musou had previously not been well-received.
I think Hyakuchi Santayu and Hakuran are not that different as original characters that cause confusion, but they definitely leave a different impression.
There was a time when Lu Bu used a weapon that looked like a boomerang, right?
>>22
Was it 5?
It felt like that was also a failed experiment.
That weapon was passed down by Lu Bu’s daughter.
In the end, when Lu Bu comes to kill you, it makes you think, “This is a really difficult game…!?” in the demo.
The final version properly functions as an action RPG.
I think it’s quite a stretch to have each of the 7 characters have different preferred weapons.
Cao Cao and Liu Bei with anti-aging, and for some reason, Sun Jian remains an old man.
>>27
That person is the dad role among the family supporters…
The trial version of Lu Bu felt incredibly strong, but in the final version, it felt like a strength that was not impossible to defeat, so I think it’s doable.
The weapons in 7 each have distinct characteristics, so there’s still enjoyment to be had playing it even now.
>>30
However, when I see that they were forced to change to weird weapons for the sake of differentiation, it makes me think that just having a few unique skills with basic motion compatibility like in 6 is enough…
Zhang He, who had been using nails all along, suddenly started using a spear in Origin, and it looked cool.
>>44
Rather, I enjoyed the weird weapons type, so we can’t agree on that.
Shota Ieyasu was a type that moved briskly with two swords, which is different from my image of him.
Liu Bei, Cao Cao, and Sun Jian are all gathered, and with many allies and enemies, there are also spectacular large-scale battles.
You can learn the importance of rescue as allies are often in danger.
That said, don’t just throw me into the late stages of Chapter 2 in the demo!
>>35
The Yellow Turban Rebellion, I was pleasantly surprised at how thoroughly it was done…
When I played 7 for the first time in a while, it started with a sudden genuflection, and Cao Cao began the stage with a full-speed escape, which completely cracked me up.
Well, P reflected that maybe they put in a bit too much in the demo and should have thought it over a bit more…
I think there are parts that became a topic of conversation precisely because it was a demo.
The main topic was mainly about Lu Bu.
Looking at the years of birth and death, it seems that Mao was already in his thirties at the start of the Yellow Turban Rebellion and over fifty by the time of the Battle of Red Cliffs, so it makes sense that he was a late bloomer. Liu Bei also acquired Jingzhou when he was just under fifty, which is quite surprising.
You’re wandering too much.
I think that the existence of Sangoku Origin is due to the reflections on Sengoku 5.
Perhaps if Sangokushi Origin had been released first, it would have made the same mistakes as Sengoku 5.
Given the number of characters, it would be difficult to depict changes in appearance due to aging, so it can’t be helped…
Isn’t Origin just the Three Kingdoms version of Sengoku Chronicle?
Since we’ve released the two big titles of the Three Kingdoms and Sengoku series, I hope we can collaborate on Musou again.
Marvel heroes and Warhammer 40k would probably sell well worldwide.
>>45
I want a new Gundam.
>>45
I’ve heard that overseas, customers tend to lose interest once it reaches a point of being unbeatable, but will it sell?
>>63
The issues around that have been resolved with the two Zelda games and Origins… I think.
From the producer’s perspective, it’s a game that feels like an improvement of the half-finished parts made in Sangoku 5, regardless of the Sengoku context.
>>46
I was talking about how I felt sad that Jun-nii’s new weapon was being called Pocky, and then I realized there were others saying it too…
I think that Origins, which includes elements from collaborations as well as blood from titles like Wo Long and the Neo Romance series, also represents the culmination of KOEI’s work.
It seems that Bandai Namco isn’t very motivated about Gundam Musou…
Retry with Europe’s undefeated.
I don’t know which era would make it popular…
>>53
Charlemagne and Arthur…?
Isn’t Europe largely marked by the Hundred Years’ War and the Wars of the Roses? Game of Thrones also has a lot of themes inspired by the Wars of the Roses.
>>54
The Hundred Years’ War feels like it’s defined by Joan of Arc, but the era itself is… that’s the impression I get.
I wonder if they’ll make a Musou game based on Fengshen Yanyi… not a battle Fengshen, but Fengshen Musou.
You can bring out a lot of stupid weapons.
I want to eventually clear 7 Musou Den, as it’s available on Steam.
I want to play Origins.
Could it be that Berserk Musou is about to release a second game?
In the end, there hasn’t been a more popular era in Japan than the Warring States or the Three Kingdoms, and historical works are likely to be even more strict than licensed ones…
>>59
Considering the overseas market, Sengoku is difficult these days, so the Three Kingdoms is just too safe.
The lack of materials from KOEI might also be a weakness of European military history.
I really want them to do a fictitious war history like Star Wars.
>>62
The era of the Three Kingdoms and the Warring States is accumulating knowledge within the company.
It’s more about the overseas market, or rather the Chinese market…
“Wuxia Musou is likely to sell incredibly well if released.”
I think it’s about time to release something like Koei’s Musou without getting in trouble.
>>67
Stars…
>>68
I was called a summon ride, and it was no good.
It must have been really terrible.
Before STARS, OROCHI was like that too, but that one also failed…
>>69
P and the writer’s masturbation was too intense.
Me bathing together with Lysa in Stars 2.
The “Ori-jin’s” version of me finally feels like KOEI’s main character; it can hold down Zhao Yun and even make it into Smash Bros.
>>71
Honestly, I think making you uneditable is somewhat influenced by the fact that you couldn’t participate in Smash.
In ancient times, KOEI was releasing simulation games about the Genpei War and the Mongol Empire, right?
Let’s do it, Mongolia Musou!
I can show a lot of women too.
There was a transformation like in Saint Seiya on portable consoles in the past, and that was interesting in its own way.
>>76
Multi-raid, huh…
>>76
That’s a cooperative hunting game following the Monster Hunter route.
That route went to Tokiden but disappeared in Hawaii.
The reason Sengoku Musou is solid is that it seems to be the safest era for Japanese people, especially when looking at popular period dramas.
>>79
I want to see a little bit of you shining and being unmatched.
You need to create the blue wolf and the white doe first; otherwise, it’s impossible to suddenly have Mongolian invincibility.
The true end of the Bakumatsu era has arrived.
When will Genpei Musou be?
>>82
The Genpei War has fewer battles than one might imagine.
>>83
That’s the same as in the Sengoku period, isn’t it?
There are hardly any battles called “kassen,” and most are just skirmishes.
>>89
As expected, there were many large battles during the Warring States period.
The reassurance of already understanding the general outline.
The abundance of blanks that allows for unique interpretations.
Numerous moments are occurring that make for easily understandable scenes of battle.
There were probably very few times during the Three Kingdoms period or the Sengoku period when one could win with such strength around here.
It’s harder to create a character set for a period earlier than the Sengoku period when it’s limited to just one era.
It would be nice to have a Musou game that starts from the beginning of Japanese history and goes through the wars.
>>86
The Nanboku-chō period cut off drastically.
I wonder if they will remake “Ishin no Arashi.”
I think it’s possible to present it with an empire flavor.
Stars have excessive bad endings like friendship boosts and bravery, so I want a revenge because the action part is lacking.
Let’s increase the ratio of characters from games other than Musou.
>>92
In the end, characters other than Musou need to have their motions created from scratch…
>>95
There should be more materials than from external collaboration…
I wanted to use myself in the Gast role…
>>95
Out of 30 people, only 7 were overpowered characters, and since others like Busa-san, Ayane, and Kasumi had already participated in the Musou series, it didn’t feel very fresh.
Orochi 3 seems to have reached its limit with 2, and yet they’re asking for even more new elements and characters…? It’s clear that we’ve hit a limit.
>>93
Like a game similar to Orochi, starting to talk about the worldview and then removing collaboration characters.
Even though they emphasized the worldview, bringing in gods from Greek mythology was a bit much.
It feels like Opuna is here…
The new Musou series has about 10 to 20 new motions, so even with that, Stars is doing its best.
Heroic Tales: “Please remember me, as I’m also a commemorative work now and then.”
In the Three Kingdoms series, there are 6 characters; in the Sengoku series, there are 2; I haven’t played OROCHI since the Demon King Rebirth, so there are many characters I don’t know in ABYSS…
Stars are not at a level where they can’t be played.
It’s just that, even though it’s a festival game packed with a lot of non-combat games, there’s so little to play that there isn’t even a single mini-game.
I feel like in Orochi 3 I was just endlessly spinning the sickle with the kunoichi.
It seems that just having a male protagonist made things chaotic, thinking about games like Blue Reflection and character creation protagonist in Nioh 2, it was challenging to create a new work.
The feeling is so good that for now, we can just say everything for internal collaboration should be Abyss, right?
I’m starting to think that it’s about time for the Investiture of the Gods to make a comeback, isn’t it??
