KONAMI HUNTER Hunter Hunter Phantom Greed Island™ PlayStation ROLE PLAYING GAME
I can’t find any images of Edmund Gel, the final boss of Greed Island!
I had the thread picture, but I’ve never completed the game…
Edmond Gel, the creator of the elusive Greed Island, the copy game of Greed Island, is this kind of person.
“Edmond Jell…”
>>2Who is this old man?!
Is it from Mystery Dungeon?
It was great to create my own Nen ability.
The quest is so tedious that I haven’t finished it yet…
I understood that the lack of players for WonderSwan games and the absence of an environment to take screenshots would result in a lack of information.
Hunter x Hunter WS is surprisingly a carefully made game that stays true to the original work, but there aren’t many people playing it.
It’s a bit tough that all the silly games like GB and PS are being ridiculed, leading people to think that Hunter’s game = silly game.
>>6The game “Stolen Aura Stone” is quite good, with over 20 characters becoming allies and featuring voice lines for confrontations with brigade members!
The promising newcomer Nen Impact, which stands alongside the history of Hunter x Hunter games.
“Gel? Isn’t it a raid?”
“That’s me too. All the Edmonds that appear in this game are me.”
“Sometimes the protagonist suddenly starts talking, you know?”
The name Edmund has never come up before.
Certainly, there was a dungeon called the Craide Mansion, but despite this game being a character game, the events are too sparse, and nothing is mentioned about the dungeon’s background.
I was thinking, why do they talk as if various things are all connected?
In the Mystery Dungeon, there are multiple companions.
A game where the screen switches to the position of allies every turn.
>>9Because of this, companion characters can only be on auto; it’s nauseating.
I was using a bow with the special traits.
I remember the punchline of the story too.
I liked the ability name “Dreadnought Gunboat Doctrine.”
>>11Could it be something like (Big Cannon)?
I was able to acquire a lot of original Nen abilities, but I wish they had added ruby annotations too.
It was exciting with “It’s a transformation type!”
I started my first Mystery Dungeon without really understanding it from the threads, and I quit while still not really understanding.
I had it as a nail.
The first technique I learned to paralyze enemies was also effective against the final boss, making it easy to defeat any enemy.
The side-scrolling action game looked generally interesting.
The punchline of the story was somewhat acceptable.
>>19I appreciate that they have at least tried to turn the GI edition, which they didn’t even properly introduce, into a game.
Bandai should release a game based on the original work for the WS.
KONAMI was releasing the original on various platforms.
>>20What was Megaman & Forte (produced by Bandai)?
>>23I’m talking about a Hunter x Hunter game, so I don’t understand…
The new anime is set during the time when cooperative games on the PSP were trending.
It’s an action game like many others, but since it’s based on the Hunter Exam, things like fishing rods and skateboards are treated as special skills, which felt really unsatisfying.
To put it simply, it’s easy to understand how unreasonable this game is by looking at the thread image.
When this game was released, only up to volume 9 of the manga was out, and at the beginning of volume 10, Kurapika and Uvogin were still fighting.
>>24In this game, Hanzo is classified as a enhancement type, Ponz as a manipulation type, Satotsu as a manipulation type, Menchi as a emission type, and Netero as a enhancement type.
Is it the game when only the name Greed Island was mentioned?
Boring person who only chooses one trait.
>>27The prison of control is too strong, you know.
You can do fairly well in the early game with manifestation.
That’s an illusion, isn’t it…?
Dictionary mode search item.
If you put your mind to it, you can clear the flag right after starting.
I really liked the background music, but I feel like I’ve heard a similar song somewhere.
I feel something similar to free music materials.
Seeing Augy makes me feel sad.
It feels like external media related to Hunter x Hunter is really buried, just like with movies and such.
>>33Media mix…?
>>33The movie is one that you can bury.
>>33I think it’s fine to leave the movie buried and not dig it up.
Also, MediMix.
The concept was really great in terms of the focus.
The game system was too simplistic.
The story cleverly takes advantage of the time when they still don’t understand what GI is and does something bold.
It’s amazing how Hunter games are all terrible games.
>>39I like all of them from WS.
It feels like an original experience adventure.
>>39Yu Yu Hakusho has quite a few playful elements, you know.
Magic Strong Unification is natural, but there are many good works on GB and SFC.
>>48I still think that someone might release a clone game that respects the visual battle system, like Clone Zico or something.
>>48I remember playing the side-scrolling game from the Sensui arc on the Game Boy.
>>52That was pretty faithful to the original even though it was for the GB, right?
The special moves have 4 to 5 levels depending on the level and are flashy.
I really like that you can choose a lineage and learn Nen abilities with an original protagonist.
The current stage performance in the media mix is really well done.
The protagonist’s default name was Cecil, right?
Is it intended to be a bland protagonist? For some reason, the character art consists only of a back view of the head.
I guess they thought it was impossible, so in the next work, Aura Stone’s Alto had a proper appearance and voice.
The latest chapter featured in Jump on the game release date is probably the part where Chrollo is reading the prophecy and crying.
The information about GI that was disclosed was mostly what I had researched online before coming to Yorkshin.
I recall seeing a gameplay video recently.
Anyway, just throwing any items you pick up to attack feels pretty strong and also feels very hunter-like.
Whether it’s a rock, a tooth, or a ball, the literal projectiles are ridiculously strong, aren’t they, Hunter?
I feel like I saw something in the V-Jump strategy guide about the final dungeon’s boss changing.
I quite like the Aura Stone, except that it has a high encounter rate compared to the movement speed on the map.
Mr. Castro is doing well.
The tempo is absolutely terrible.
I remember that Hisoka and the chairman were strong.
Could you prepare a Nen Impact story for me?
Whether good or bad, I’m looking forward to this long-awaited hunter game.
Speaking of the Hunter game, Poccol is the one who joins the party early on.
If we’re just talking about the subject, a Hunter x Hunter Mystery Dungeon would be interesting, so I want it to be made with current technology.
I remember buying it at that time, but I don’t remember what kind of game it was…
I feel like we were doing a water viewing ceremony.
>>57Maybe that’s the peak of this game’s fun.
In the early game, I feel like I was earning points to learn abilities by accumulating a lot.
For a roguelike, the volume of the dungeons is thin, and because throwing is strong, I have the impression that I bought a lot of cheap armor from shops and threw them.
I simply want to play a 2D fighting game.
I want to use Franklin or Castro.
>>62It seems like it’s going to turn into a terrible game with an overly strong release system.
>>62You must endure with NEN×IMPACT…
Bandai has been conservative with games that follow the original work.
Konami might have been releasing a lot of weird things to stand out.
It’s honestly impressive that each time it’s a different genre.
>>63I can imagine now that there might have been a purpose to give young employees new experiences.
I believe that the reason well-made character games come out, even if not every time, is due to the experience gained from challenges.
>>71I was genuinely impressed by the idea of making the standing picture look like it’s moving by sliding it with an aura stone and layering effects.
Mystery Dungeon and character games don’t really go well together, do they?
I want to introduce many playable characters and allies.
It’s difficult to balance the idea that having fewer characters in Mystery Dungeon makes it more comfortable.
Who is this old man? I really can’t deal with this old man.
There’s a Nenin Impact story mode, right?
For some reason, I have been constantly appearing in Yu-Gi-Oh.
>>69It’s too much like KONAMI Yu-Gi-Oh…
The Hunter’s GBC Castlevania game is quite interesting, yet it hardly ever comes up in conversation.
I really like the way the “Everyone’s Friendship Strategy” embraces its defiance, it feels like a reverse import of the Tennis Prince spirit.
The thread image feels like a character game really made with the story and characters that were known at the time.
I remember the impact of not having Gon and Killua as my first companions, but instead Wing-san, and thinking, “Why?!”
