[Weekly Shonen Jump] When I played Famicom Jump, I was still less than 10 years old.

Japan Otaku Reviews+

“Jump has been around for over 20 years! That’s really amazing!”

I was thinking that.

Still.

It seems like.

Ken

It feels like that.

I like the feeling of thinking, “I forgot to arrange the burning brother, so is this okay here…?”

63: Japan Otaku Reviews

>>1

Mr. Nukesaku is also suspicious.

2: Japan Otaku ReviewsYeahx5

One was fun because it had a lot of jump characters coming out on both the enemy and ally sides.

It was tough because the emptiness was too much after all seven of us had gathered.

24: Japan Otaku ReviewsYeahx2

>>2

I thought it was really fun as an original RPG once the seven of us were together, so I was confused by the later evaluations, thinking, “Huh…?”

I missed the password video, had to start over, and ended up thinking, “Is this really it?!” so I think it’s a terrible game.

3: Japan Otaku ReviewsYeahx1

I only remember that when you repeatedly press the button, you crush the average person who looks bad with a rocket punch.

4: Japan Otaku Reviews

Overall, there are quite a few that could be better.

5: Japan Otaku Reviews

Back when Ajippei was being teased, the nameless one…

“This guy was also in Famicom Jump.”

I thought, “Was there really someone like this?”

Back when Ajippei was being teased, the nameless one... "This guy was also in Famicom Jump." I thought, "Was there really someone like this?" Itawa. It was such a minor role that I didn't remember it.

“Hey, can you make something delicious with this ingredient? I will make something tasty with these skills. RESTAURANT Isamu”

Itawa.

It was such a minor role that I didn’t remember it.

When I give Ajihei fried rice to Ryotsu, he’ll hand over the Magnum I picked up from Kanou.

10: Japan Otaku ReviewsYeahx9

>>7

There’s something interesting about just this letter.

8: Japan Otaku ReviewsYeahx4

>>6

As you get older, 20 years ago feels like it was just about 5 years ago, right?

9: Japan Otaku ReviewsYeahx2

Because of this, I thought that Hernandez was Captain Tsubasa’s strongest enemy.

11: Japan Otaku Reviews

I seriously can’t remember what the Kin’niku Man’s special move was.

12: Japan Otaku Reviews

Isamu and Joseph are completely useless in the final battle.

The serialization lineup from 20 years ago. When I look at it this way, it feels like it was quite a while ago, but not so far... It was about 5 years ago!

The serialization lineup from 20 years ago.

When I look at it this way, it feels like it was quite a while ago, but not so far… It was about 5 years ago!

19: Japan Otaku Reviews

>>13

I guess it was around the time Jump Ultimate Stars was released.

14: Japan Otaku Reviews

Why is Godzilla with a beard in the final battle… when there are no original characters on the ally side?

15: Japan Otaku Reviews

It seems that Harenchigakuen and Moeru Oniisan were quite crazy back then, but I can’t believe they were able to release them…

16: Japan Otaku Reviews

The big brother caused a commotion with the magazine recall…

17: Japan Otaku Reviews

Speaking of which, there aren’t any Mazingers, huh?

20: Japan Otaku Reviews

>>17

It is said that the protagonist’s rocket punch is reminiscent of Mazinger.

18: Japan Otaku Reviews

The commotion about the old janitor, etc., happened about a year after this was released.

21: Japan Otaku Reviews

“I was thinking, ‘I just want to keep using Goku!’ since the characters you can use are fixed for each area.”

22: Japan Otaku Reviews

Looking back, it’s amazing that the Astro team could mix with this lineup.

25: Japan Otaku Reviews

Famicom Jump 2 has great background music and was fun for kids.

I think it’s idiotic to seriously create a ridiculously long Karin Tower just to replicate the original.

26: Japan Otaku Reviews

It’s fun to collect Dragon Balls and cultivate Senzu Beans while listening to the BGM of Kintoun.

27: Japan Otaku Reviews

I remember an event where a mob that liked rockets and became a security guard at the research facility defended it during an attack by enemy combatants and died in a mutual stab at the end.

28: Japan Otaku Reviews

The BGM of 2 is hilariously similar, probably because of the person from Metal Max.

44: Japan Otaku Reviews

>>28

The battle BGM and the world BGM after the seven characters join are good…

30: Japan Otaku Reviews

In the manga, Ryo-san casually complained about it being easy to use with a default remote attack using a gun.

The bazooka is definitely un.

45: Japan Otaku Reviews

>>30

It’s easier to use than the group without ranged weapons.

It has more power than the all-range combo.

You were a starter, Ryo-san…

31: Japan Otaku Reviews

Why is Akakabuto?

32: Japan Otaku ReviewsYeahx4

It’s crazy that there are still some active contents out there.

33: Japan Otaku Reviews

At a time when the graphic novel style was still barely alive, this kind of character merchandising direction didn’t really match the repertoire well…

34: Japan Otaku Reviews

The most obscure work in which he appeared is probably “Father’s Soul.”

35: Japan Otaku Reviews

Why is it red Kabuto instead of silver?

38: Japan Otaku ReviewsYeahx2

>>35

Despite not even a single dog showing up, Akabuto is given the extraordinary treatment of being selected as one of the final opponents.

Well, I get played by Arale-chan…

43: Japan Otaku Reviews

>>38

There is a story in the main series where Arale-chan plays with a bear.

36: Japan Otaku Reviews

There are various rough aspects, but the fact that there is a mini-game that recreates the Hell Crime Pillar from Part 2 is amazing.

37: Japan Otaku Reviews

Madoka Ayukawa is on a solo trip seeking a man, yet the protagonist of Kimagure Orange Road is absent.

39: Japan Otaku Reviews

I like the setting where the only one who can challenge Piccolo Daimao’s room, which only those who have drunk the Ultra Divine Water can enter, is the protagonist who can move between areas.

40: Japan Otaku Reviews

Although the second one neglects works other than Dragon Ball quite a bit.

At that time, I loved Dragon Ball the most, so I was genuinely happy.

41: Japan Otaku Reviews

It’s amazing to have produced so much content in 20 years.

Other magazines wouldn’t even reach the level of a thread image, even when combined for 50 years.

42: Japan Otaku Reviews

In jump-style games, Dragon Ball is favored right from the start.

A legend that often tends to become representative.

46: Japan Otaku ReviewsYeahx2

Now it might be treated as a typical bad game among character games, but back then I really enjoyed Famicom Jump 1…

47: Japan Otaku ReviewsYeahx1

While 2 is easier to play as a game, the chaotic feel of 1 makes a much stronger impact as a character game.

52: Japan Otaku Reviews

>>47

I’m kind of bored, you know?

60: Japan Otaku Reviews

>>52

I think the inclusion of comic characters among allies and enemies creates tension and relief.

2 is just some loose character game without any sense of urgency.

48: Japan Otaku Reviews

Is the dish we’re giving to Ryoutsu fried rice?

I only have memories that look like chicken.

49: Japan Otaku Reviews

Ko o o o o o o

51: Japan Otaku ReviewsYeahx1

Regardless of whether I can clear it or not, I don’t remember the time when Famicom Jump was called a bad game.

53: Japan Otaku ReviewsYeahx1

I can somewhat understand the people from the past world that I didn’t know back then now…

54: Japan Otaku Reviews

I was stuck because I couldn’t clear vs Saga at all.

My brother’s friend told me that you just ignore the mini-game guard and keep spamming punches.

55: Japan Otaku ReviewsYeahx1

The so-called “bad games” can leave a completely different impression depending on whether you experienced them at the time or not.

I was a bit taken aback when the Famicom version of Gegege no Kitaro 1 was treated as a terrible game.

Certainly, the difficulty of the Youkumo Makyō is just a bit off…

56: Japan Otaku Reviews

>>55

During the late PS1 to around the PS2 era, there were quite a few instances of prolonging playtime as a countermeasure for the used game market, but I enjoyed that in its own way…

57: Japan Otaku Reviews

It is difficult to determine pros and cons considering the zeitgeist and the fact that it is a character game…

The muscle tag match may indeed be criticized as just “using characters from popular manga!” and “having a thin plot that gets boring quickly!”

“It was just fun to be able to fight with various superhumans! There are opinions like ‘This is about what you’d expect from a game in 1985’ that have some validity…”

58: Japan Otaku Reviews

Difficult games, silly games, games with broken balance, and games with broken storylines are all lumped together as crap games.

59: Japan Otaku Reviews

I feel a bit hesitant to include stupid games in the category of bad games.

61: Japan Otaku Reviews

>>59

However, in the book “Super Terrible Game,” which popularized the term “crappy game,” that definition was stronger.

It’s already super brother just from the cover.

64: Japan Otaku ReviewsYeahx1

I was really into it when I was a child…

The sense of excitement when I cleared it was even more intense.

The power to instantaneously defeat Esidisi with the Solar Flare is something that can’t be done now, it had no regard for others.

65: Japan Otaku Reviews

The gag dimension is clearly the destroyer of the serious group.

66: Japan Otaku Reviews

I won’t forgive the dungeon.

At that time, a dungeon map was published in Jump, so it might have been assumed that there would be a collaboration with Jump.

67: Japan Otaku Reviews

I’m a fan of works that wouldn’t be able to participate if the All-Star game wasn’t released at this timing.

68: Japan Otaku Reviews

There are nutrients that can only be consumed in the final battle of this game.

69: Japan Otaku Reviews

>>68

I understand… it wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say that about 70% of the fun is packed into this.

70: Japan Otaku Reviews

I like 2 as well…

I have complaints, like how Taruruuto’s special moves become useless in the late stages, or that there are many characters that equip school uniforms making it hard for the strongest armor to be distributed, and that there are no jump elements other than Dragon Ball outside of the beginning, but I still like it.

I especially liked the sub-event of searching for Dragon Balls, but I dislike that there is a limit on the number of times I can collect them.

71: Japan Otaku Reviews

When I think that the only allies I can use in the last dungeon before the final battle are Tsubasa and Taro, I still go “Huh?!”

Can’t we at least do it with Goku and Ryo Saeba?
