How far will it go? Can you do it all? I had doubts, but while omitting some parts, I managed to do almost everything, so I watched the performance! I feel a sense of satisfaction afterward.

No matter what, Paris’s glamour is overwhelming.

It was so beautiful that I thought maybe they wouldn’t go all the way to the end, and I had a little hope, but it was indeed what I expected, and it was tough.

The part where it says, “Take up arms, citizens,” the audience must have been thinking, “Are you going to sing, too?”

Rosalie is cute.

Marie’s perspective is frequently cut and time jumps are used often, but each time, I thought the voice actress was amazing, especially with how Aya Hirano increasingly captured the dignity of the queen.

It was interesting.

1: Otaku ReviewsYeahx11

“The effort seems solid, but only the publicity is lacking, right?”

2: Otaku Reviews

It’s seriously over because I only saw the flyer at the movie theater a long time ago.

I really wouldn’t have seen it if I hadn’t gone to the theater at the latest Sieg Ax.

3: Otaku ReviewsYeahx2

Jellodel, you know

Mr. Oscar, you know,

4: Otaku Reviews

Rosalie is appearing…

5: Otaku Reviews

Don’t cry until the end.

6: Otaku ReviewsYeahx12

“The one using the most footage from the main story is something like The Rose of Versailles…”

64: Otaku ReviewsYeahx2

>>6

No, what is this?

7: Otaku ReviewsYeahx2

It might be that I only found out about the movie today.

No matter how low the antenna is

8: Otaku Reviews

Avex Pictures doesn’t seem interested in promoting their own anime.

9: Otaku Reviews

It’s not Seaborn.

10: Otaku Reviews

If it looks good, maybe I’ll go on the weekend.

11: Otaku ReviewsYeahx7

Why is it that NHK is the one doing the most promotion?

Are you getting paid for advertising or what?

12: Otaku Reviews

Fersen, you…

Only you.

13: Otaku Reviews

Is the Black Knight appearing?

16: Otaku Reviews

>>13

If you say it exists, then it does.

If you say there isn’t, there isn’t.

14: Otaku Reviews

Is it starting today?

It started smoothly.

15: Otaku Reviews

The picture is because it’s TOHO NEXT, right?

This label is small to medium-sized to begin with, so of course they won’t advertise.

17: Otaku ReviewsYeahx1

I thought for sure they would announce a sequel and make it a two-part series, but it ends with just one.

18: Otaku Reviews

I certainly didn’t see any advertisements at all…

However, the merchandise is really abundant and was selling well.

25: Otaku Reviews

>>18

It must have been purchased by long-time fans of Rose of Versailles…

19: Otaku ReviewsYeahx2

The text is being heavily abbreviated, but the method of abbreviation gives a “Oh, that’s how it’s going to be” kind of feeling.

At first, I was confused, but upon listening carefully, it naturally turned into a scene description, and gradually receptors formed.

20: Otaku ReviewsYeahx2

Even if you haven’t read the original, it’s skipping around enough to make you think, “This feels like a digest version…”

Antoinette’s performance is amazing.

21: Otaku Reviews

Commercials are airing during the late-night anime time slot.

22: Otaku ReviewsYeahx2

Yeah, they’re doing quite a lot of commercials.

Isn’t the time spent watching TV decreasing?

23: Otaku ReviewsYeahx5

>>22

Did I get caught?

38: Otaku Reviews

>>23

There is, right?

I’m watching TV, but since it’s a recording, I’m skipping all the commercials.

24: Otaku Reviews

In the morning, they did quite a lot of advertising.

26: Otaku Reviews

Considering the former readership, maybe they should put more effort into commercials.

27: Otaku Reviews

“Because they appeared as a guest voice actor on Mezamashi TV.”

In that sense, maybe I haven’t seen the commercial.

29: Otaku Reviews

If you hadn’t mentioned it in passing at the FM Chofu anime song year-end party, I wouldn’t have known anything about it.

32: Otaku Reviews

Suddenly it was just briefly mentioned on the morning news program, but how many people are actually watching Fuji this morning?

33: Otaku ReviewsYeahx4

Aya Hirano is just living apart from her husband after being violent, but she hasn’t done anything particularly wrong.

34: Otaku Reviews

It’s fine if it’s just a minor personal issue, rather than an affair or something.

35: Otaku Reviews

Did they cover the entire original story in just one movie?

40: Otaku Reviews

>>35

Use a lot of cuts and skips, and cover the rest with a musical.

36: Otaku ReviewsYeahx5

A situation where my husband is publicly sheltered because he’s in danger is kind of a little trouble, isn’t it!?

39: Otaku Reviews

I wonder if Eroica will be animated…

41: Otaku ReviewsYeahx1

France’s destruction RTA, huh…

42: Otaku ReviewsYeahx2

A lot is said about Aya Hirano, but I haven’t heard any complaints about her acting ability and singing, so I have high hopes for her in that direction.

43: Otaku Reviews

It’s not France, but a Bourbon Dynasty extinction RTA.

44: Otaku ReviewsYeahx1

In the first place, a voice actor’s private life does not interfere with the quality of a work, so there is no problem at all.

45: Otaku Reviews

I’ve only watched about 10 episodes of the original anime, but is it okay to go see the movie first…? I feel like it would be better to see it on a big screen.

47: Otaku Reviews

>>45

If you’re watching the TV anime now and finding it interesting, I think it’s best to keep watching it as it is.

But if the screening ends like that, it’s naturally sad, so wouldn’t it be better to quickly watch all the TV episodes before going to the movie?

I have only read the original work and have only seen a few episodes of the anime.

48: Otaku Reviews

>>45

Completely fine.

If you want to take your time with the story, the TV or the original work, which are longer, would be better.

46: Otaku Reviews

The bonus is a reproduced manuscript… It looks like there’s a lot of effort put into it, but I haven’t seen any promotion at all.

49: Otaku Reviews

I remember there was a girl who committed suicide because she was kissed on the back of the hand by a guy she disliked, but my memory of it is vague.

50: Otaku Reviews

The movie “Berubara” is well made.

The original work is well summarized despite its brevity.

51: Otaku ReviewsYeahx2

I knew the name, but I didn’t know what kind of work it was.

First, I didn’t know that Marie was Marie Antoinette.

I got hit with a sudden huge spoiler.

52: Otaku Reviews

Watch anime until tomorrow and then go to the movies the day after tomorrow… Thank you.

I think the anime is really interesting, so I’m looking forward to the movie… People die so casually, it’s surprisingly shocking…

53: Otaku Reviews

It’s obvious, but every time something happens, the situation gets worse in the original work, doesn’t it?

57: Otaku ReviewsYeahx4

>>53

Well, if I must say, it was already doomed in the previous generation…

54: Otaku Reviews

I was really looking forward to it, but I was anxious because I didn’t hear any feedback at all.

55: Otaku Reviews

I really can’t stand the end credits.

56: Otaku ReviewsYeahx1

Rather than a re-animation of the original work

The feeling of the anime adaptation of Takarazuka’s “The Rose of Versailles” is amazing.

58: Otaku Reviews

Is there anyone else besides me who has watched “The Rose of Versailles”…?

The man behind was crying loudly.

63: Otaku Reviews

>>58

Gross…

66: Otaku ReviewsYeahx6

>>63

The heart is free.

59: Otaku Reviews

Hirano Aya sings well.

60: Otaku Reviews

I watched it in the early morning show, but besides myself, it was filled with older ladies.

61: Otaku Reviews

Is the TV version faithful to the original?

It’s been 40 years since I saw it, so my memory is already hazy.

62: Otaku Reviews

The merchandise will probably sell well…

65: Otaku Reviews

The episode I watched had slightly more women, but there were a fair number of men as well.

Both the men and women were young, and it was like they wanted to binge-watch classic films in one go.

69: Otaku ReviewsYeahx2

The first half of the story progresses at supersonic speed, but because it’s a musical, it doesn’t feel too rushed.

71: Otaku ReviewsYeahx1

I only watched the beginning of the TV version on YouTube, but I felt it was completely different from the original.

78: Otaku Reviews

>>71

In the beginning, well… yes!

85: Otaku Reviews

>>78

I’ve only seen up to the French Revolution, but isn’t the latter half quite different?

72: Otaku Reviews

After all, the part about making me your wife… it became difficult to accept.

The emotional aspect unique to period dramas is good, but…

Something like this… something like this…!

73: Otaku Reviews

If you like the original work, you might think, “Oh, this scene isn’t there,” so if you haven’t watched the TV anime or read the original work, you might enjoy it more in its pure form.

74: Otaku Reviews

>>67

In the latter half, I think the differences in stance towards revolution between Osamu Dezaki and Riyoko Ikeda will emerge.

Mainly at Alain and Robespierre.

75: Otaku ReviewsYeahx1

That’s where the dam burst due to Gérôdel, and 20 years’ worth of stuff turned into that.

It can’t be helped.

76: Otaku Reviews

Are you running commercials on networks other than Fuji?

77: Otaku Reviews

To begin with, watching an anime where you already know the spoilers about Marie Antoinette and the future of France is the whole point.

It doesn’t matter if you watched the movie first.

79: Otaku Reviews

Are we doing the story where André is executed?

82: Otaku ReviewsYeahx1

“But I swear, this is His Majesty’s child.”

86: Otaku Reviews

>>82

Louis Joseph is undoubtedly His Majesty’s child.

“…At least it’s not Fersen’s child.”

83: Otaku Reviews

I laughed because the idea of going to a masquerade ball in drag was so random.

88: Otaku Reviews

>>83

Commoners really can’t read the context, can they?

87: Otaku Reviews

In the original work, are there scenes where Fersen and [someone] engage in intimate acts?

89: Otaku ReviewsYeahx1

When I turned on the TV in the morning, there was a rock-paper-scissors game on Mezamashi TV, and I lost.

90: Otaku ReviewsYeahx1

It might sound like I’m being picky, but I wanted “The Roses Fall Beautifully” to play.

91: Otaku Reviews

Fersen is too much of a bewitching male.

92: Otaku Reviews

Even though we’ve seen the original work and the anime, I’m surprised that there are quite a lot of us who have never seen the musical.

95: Otaku Reviews

>>92

Thinking about the hurdle of going to see Takarazuka… even if there were streams, there probably wouldn’t be many opportunities to watch.

93: Otaku Reviews

Fersen might have had a different life if he weren’t so popular…

It’s amazing that it’s become a drama like that.

The character depiction is really good, isn’t it?

94: Otaku Reviews

It’s well done how, the moment a royal child appears, you instantly go “Oh…” and feel down.

96: Otaku ReviewsYeahx1

I was impressed that it was well summarized without overexertion in two hours.

I felt a sense of clarity, like saying, “You understand what happened between the lines, right!”

97: Otaku ReviewsYeahx1

Personally, I feel like it would have been nice if it was more of a musical anime.

I thought it was a waste that while the mob was lip-syncing to the song, the main part only had aesthetic image footage.

98: Otaku ReviewsYeahx1

The number of cuts isn’t very high and there isn’t much action, but…

I think the production aspects (especially those related to Antoinette) are outstanding.

Refrains from the past are frequently used at each stage of growth.

The cut that turned towards the closing door was especially amazing.

99: Otaku Reviews

Today on the train, a girl who seemed like an elementary school student was reading “The Rose of Versailles.”

I thought it seemed like it would grow splendidly.

100: Otaku ReviewsYeahx1

It feels more like a Sawano Hiroyuki music video than a musical.

101: Otaku Reviews

I didn’t know they were doing this…

102: Otaku Reviews

Because the voice is by Sawashiro-senpai, Oscar has an allure.

103: Otaku Reviews

It seems good.

I wonder when I should go see it.

I love both the manga and the TV version.

104: Otaku Reviews

>>103

If we don’t go sometime this week, it will probably become just once early in the morning, so it’s better to go sooner.

105: Otaku ReviewsYeahx1

Go now, go quickly.

I can go next week too.

The reproduction illustrations of the bonus will be switched.

106: Otaku Reviews

I wonder if this will lead to a remake of “La Seine no Hoshi”.
