[Shin Megami Tensei] I want to clear all routes and all parts of the Shin Megami Tensei series.

Otaku Review Image

Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:12+

I feel like I’m running out of time…
I think it’s amazing that an anonymous person has fully completed the Shin Megami Tensei series.

1: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:17Yeahx52

I wonder if they’re here!?

2: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:17Yeahx7

I don’t think there’s anyone who has completed it without a name…

3: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:17Yeahx13

Isn’t the hurdle for setting up a play environment pretty high right now?

4: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:18

I think it would be better to do this and that, including Shin Megami Tensei!
Also, there are some that cannot be played anymore.

5: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:18Yeahx4

It’s not impossible because there are finished mobile games, current mobile games, and the NTV version.

6: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:19Yeahx9

Ceremonies and stuff, that’s impossible, right!?

7: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:19Yeahx13

Now, we can no longer play imagine anymore…

8: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:19Yeahx2

I’ve never done IMAGINE, NINE, or Rondo.

12: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:20Yeahx8

>>8Even if that’s the only thing missing, it’s still quite impressive…

9: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:19Yeahx3

It’s already impossible to enjoy synchronicity even with the latest releases.

10: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:20

It’s fine not to count social games…

11: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:20

I’ve only never done Giten, Imagine, and Nine.

44: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:37Yeahx5

>>11Isn’t that still pretty amazing?

13: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:21Yeahx2

Does Hiho enter the series in the maze?

14: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:21Yeahx6

If you miss it, then it will be impossible.
I feel that there are a few people who are tracking everything in real-time.

15: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:21

If it’s true 1 to 4, there might be a decent number.
Apocrypha…? NINE…?
Should we include things like Shin Megami Tensei?

16: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:22Yeahx6

I started several threads to promote Imagine until the service ended, but everyone reacted like this is boring… and I feel the same way, so even if I could play now, I think the hurdles are high in many ways.

24: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:25

>>16I’m genuinely curious, but why were you promoting it while thinking that way…?

30: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:29

>>24I found it really tough to run through the dungeon alone, and I would be happy if there were others who resonate with the world where you walk around Tokyo with your allies…

17: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:22

Games like Persona and Devil Summoner are also part of a series, right?

47: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:38

>>17The hurdles just got much higher all at once…

18: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:22

I’ve done all the routes for Shin 1 to 4 and SJ, but I can’t handle all the other spin-offs.

19: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:23Yeahx1

You can play the mobile Shin Megami Tensei series on G-MODE Archives.
Also, Shin Megami Tensei 20XX.

20: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:24Yeahx8

It’s really appreciated that the Galakee works have been reprinted.

21: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:24Yeahx5

I want to give it a try, but there are many works where I feel like setting up the gaming environment for this is just…

22: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:24Yeahx3

The latter part of the Debichiru series is also quite unclear in its nature…

23: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:25

The standalone software that probably has the fewest players and the highest hurdle is the maze game “Hee-ho.”

25: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:26Yeahx2

It seems that there won’t be a re-release of the fake scriptures, and if you play it on a modern PC, there are some ridiculous enemies, right?

26: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:26Yeahx1

I played the card game on Game Boy.

27: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:26Yeahx3

In the later stages of Devil Children, fire and ice are quite common.
I don’t know about the Messiahs because I’ve never done it.

28: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:26

Is Synchronicity the side-scrolling action one from Strange Journey?
I downloaded it but ended up not doing it.

29: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:27

I’m still dragging on with D×2 and such.
I have no desire to recommend it to anyone at all.

31: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:29

As long as the ceremony puts a load on the PC, there is no problem with the enemy.
Exploring the map, like the Dark Zone and pitfalls, is so troublesome that it’s almost disheartening.

32: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:30Yeahx4

I’m playing if on Super Famicom Online…
Wasn’t the old Megaten series more about high difficulty and a lack of friendliness?

34: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:32

>>32You could say there was a significant change before and after Soul Hackers.

224: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)17:22

>>32If Yumi and Reiko are withdrawing from the jealousy realm, then I can have relations with the female demon, right?

33: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:31Yeahx2

The ceremony has an amazing worldview and design, but as a game, it is just the worst.
The bugs have not been fixed at all in the Windows version that was released much later.

35: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:33Yeahx4

Isn’t if quite easy to play with?

68: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:45Yeahx1

>>35The system started to get better around here, but if you want to do all routes, the difficulty itself is probably among the hardest classes.
Mainly the men.

78: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:48Yeahx2

>>35Putting aside the hidden Akira, Charlie is going to have a hard time if he goes ahead without understanding the system.
But the other ones are quite easy to play, right?

36: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:33Yeahx1

I stopped playing IMAGINE after it started using gacha equipment for the Mother Earth Feast, but I feel like there was nothing to do except run dungeons like a hamster…
I wonder if it changed later on.

41: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:35

>>36Even though a lot has been added, I guess there really isn’t much to do except for grinding…
However, towards the end, the tutorial became more helpful, and Senior Chloe also had voice acting, making it more friendly for newcomers.

37: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:33

I quit D2 after about three months, but it’s still ongoing…

38: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:33

It’s a game where you just keep diving into dungeons, so it’s a hassle, but it’s not unreasonable, right? It’s a hassle, though.

39: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:34

It’s tough when you get hooked on Hackers and start playing the past Megaten games…

40: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:34

The p5x will start soon, won’t it?

42: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:35

D2 is currently collaborating with Shin 1, and the distribution is unusually generous, so now is a good time to start!
You don’t have to start!

49: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:38Yeahx9

>>42I haven’t done it, but I can tell that I have quite complicated feelings.

43: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:36

Old games have a lot of level grinding, but basically if you do that, you’ll probably win.
It’s best to remember that for the Megaten series, Kajanda is important to keep in mind.

45: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:37

Devichiru too!?

46: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:38

Now, the 4 series has become more difficult to do…

52: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:39Yeahx6

>>46It’s easy to just do it, but the DLC for 4 is so central to the world view that I can’t bring myself to do it…

59: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:42Yeahx1

>>46True IV, IVF, Devil Survivor, Soul Hackers, and SJ can’t be played without a 3DS…

48: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:38Yeahx1

It seems that the old Megaten games weren’t particularly high in difficulty…
I think that manufacturers are now taking the lead in creating unreasonable instant death balance.

50: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:38

What kind of punishment game is this?
Are you planning to make it your life’s work?

51: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:39

It would have been good if Nine moved in box ◯…

53: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:40

You’re going to play Last Bible too, right?

54: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:40

>>53Now I can play the New Testament too…

55: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:41

The SFC area is basically mean, but there is less unfairness, right?
Things like Gaki Patrol are much more unreasonable.

56: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:41

In the Last Bible series, you can only play games like Another Bible and Special.

57: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:41

The 4 series will probably get a remastered collection eventually if we just wait.
If you’re subscribed to Nintendo Online, you can play 12if anytime.

58: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:42Yeahx1

If you include things like giten, Nine, Devil Children, and Last Bible, the conversation changes.

60: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:42

There was a GREE version of Devil Children too…

61: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:43Yeahx3

By the way, there was a 3DS version of Soul Hackers.

62: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:44

I only have knowledge of the Bonbon version, Deichil.

63: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:44

The hackers of 3SD are having a laugh because the Leon factory has become high difficulty due to processing speed issues.

64: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:44

Speaking of which, didn’t they have a mobile game for Devil Survivor 2?
Isn’t that the least likely option?

69: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:46Yeahx3

>>64I didn’t know this existed.
I just found out for the first time…

65: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:45

There are more series that have turned into mobile games than I thought…

66: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:45

On the contrary, there might be people who have read all the volumes of Digital Devil Story without revealing their names.

67: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:45

The Futsuo-san joke was understood here, but Nakajima-kun didn’t get it.
Thanks to the fact that Shin has been transplanted a lot, the generational gap is significant.

70: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:46

I like the opening of the 3DS version of Hackers.

72: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:46

There was also a Persona mobile app game back in the days when there were no terms like “feature phone” or anything like that.

73: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:47Yeahx1

Since I’ve never played the old one, I hope they can remake it.

74: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:47

My first Megaten was the Hazama chapter.

75: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:47Yeahx2

There was also a mobile app game for Persona at a time when there weren’t terms like “feature phone.”This is playable, so there’s no problem.

76: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:47

I think there aren’t many people who have done both the Old Testament Last Bible and the New Translation.
The new translation series is more like a remake or almost a completely different thing!

77: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:48

The ones for flip phones have also been archived, and since it’s possible to perform the ceremony in the current environment, it just requires the motivation to gather them, so it’s within reach if you have the perseverance.

79: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:48

I’m regretting that I ignored it when I found out that Abachu can’t turn enemies into allies.
I wish I hadn’t been so picky and had tried it…

80: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:48

I regret not buying it when it was on a bargain during the Abachu sale.

81: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:49

Even feature phone games and social games are releasing titles like “World Tree.”
Persona has browser games on PC, so I was really doing a lot of different things.

82: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:49

Recently, old Megaten games have been getting ported to Steam, right?

83: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:49

The route that Hazama and Amon worked hard on was mentioned in an interview from the SFCif era.
I remember there was a mention that it was a impossible crappy game unless you had that guy’s brains and a lot of luck, but how was the difficulty?

84: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:49Yeahx2

Right now, doing FC2 is quite a high hurdle.

90: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:51

>>84I want you to experience the last battle BGM’s presentation on the actual machine…
In the SFC version of the Old Testament, the sound quality aside, for some reason it has been cut! What the hell is going on?!

85: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:50

I wonder if there’s a way to obtain something like an SJ action game.

86: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:50Yeahx3

>>85Isn’t it impossible unless someone gives us the data?

87: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:50

Is “Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner” included in the Megami Tensei series?

92: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:53Yeahx3

>>87What are you pretending to be an outsider now after I’ve already brought out Tamaki-chan?

88: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:51Yeahx2

I think I’ll never be able to do anything but this fake text for my whole life.

89: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:51

Since the if route has a lower level compared to the other routes, it can be somewhat tough.

119: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:57

>>89The key is whether or not you notice the raster candy.
Also, Charlie has many carry players in Guardian, and there is a level 40 dedicated Guardian Dionysus.
There is a relief measure that brings all the cards.
If you do it normally, you’ll reach the Hazama battle around level 40 to 50, so you generally pull him.
And from there, going down a level, there is indeed a dedicated Alice with a strong presence of Mud-type elements.

91: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:52

I’m satisfied just doing the route where I defeat Lucifer in Shin Megami Tensei 3.

93: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:53

I thought I had done everything, but I just realized I’ve never played the mobile version of the game.
The reprint edition has come out and I can do it now, so I want to try it someday.

94: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:53

Are there two types of TRPG included in the Shin Megami Tensei series?

95: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:53

Just be careful with the one that overflows with buff on the Super Famicom…

96: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:53Yeahx1

Even just with Shin 3, I’ve done Asakusa Puzzle 4 times… or was it 5? It’s not essential for clearing, but if I try to do it, I feel like I’m going to lose my mind.

97: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:53Yeahx1

I want to play Devil Survivor, but I don’t have the chance to do so.
Recently, I heard that the climax, or hidden boss, has a truly Megaten-like motif, and I want to play it.

131: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)17:00

>>97Can’t the original be done on something like the Vita?
VC is no longer possible.

99: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:54Yeahx2

If it were all routes, VV would be quite a struggle, wouldn’t it?

112: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:56

>>99If you skip the event with a handover, the common part is just a dash, so it’s not that hard, right?

113: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:56

>>99I thought I could just play the Revenge Goddess chapter, but I felt it was too much of a trap that Lord Masakado is limited to the old route.

100: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:54Yeahx2

The problem with if was boredom rather than difficulty.
I cleared them in the order of Reiko → Akira → Charlie → Yumi.
Yumi’s partway through is nothing but void.
Charlie says it’s better because it’s short.

121: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:58Yeahx5

>>100I laughed because it was almost going the opposite of what I expected.

101: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:54

I always wish for a Shin Megami Tensei set to be released.

109: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:56

>>101It’s about RONDE…

102: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:55

There’s no one who has played the Tsukūru version of Shin… is there?

117: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:57

>>102Is it called true 1.5?

103: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:55

I can still remember the theme song of the second part of Abachuu so well that I can play it in my head, but I can’t recall the story from the end at all.
Somehow I became a center man… and then…?

104: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:55Yeahx8

It’s somewhat better that if you buy the game and the console, you can play everything.

105: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:55Yeahx3

“Even now, it’s fine, so add a feature that allows us to respec the skills of the human Shura, no matter what we have to put aside.”
That is the most inconvenient thing.

106: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:56Yeahx1

>>98The approach is focused on the creation myth of Pangu, emphasizing that the persona has a soul rather than just a mask representing personality.

107: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:56

When I think about it, it really is scattered across various hardware…

116: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:57

>>107Since Shin 1 and 2 have been transplanted a lot, they are easy to touch…

120: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:58

>>116Let me play the GBA one.

124: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:59Yeahx1

>>116Since there’s FC1 in the Namcot Collection DLC for Switch, I hope they can somehow release FC2…

108: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:56

The biggest problem with Demon God 2 is the long CPU thinking time, but that should be easily solvable now.

110: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:56

I wanted to try doing a rondo.

111: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:56Yeahx3

The scenarios that I like all tend to have issues with the gameplay.

114: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:56

I wish they had added a skill reassignment feature in the remaster of Shin III.

115: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:57

It seems that Tokyo Requiem will be added to the archive, but I wonder if it will include Chapter 7…

118: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:57

I completed all routes in both Devil Survivor 1 and 2.

122: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:58

I want to play Devil Survivor.

123: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:58

I’m playing True 1 on the Switch in bed before sleeping, but it’s quite difficult, isn’t it…? I’ve made it to the Cathedral, but I’m lost right now.

125: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:59Yeahx1

>>123The Cathedral is definitely one of the top mazes in the series.

133: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)17:00

>>125In the Mega CD version, only the Cathedral map has been revised, making it dramatically easier.

139: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)17:01

>>125I can’t be satisfied unless I fill in the entire map, so I fell into all the pitfall traps.
Wow, that was tough.

147: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)17:02Yeahx1

>>139Am I a pervert…?

158: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)17:06

>>139If there is a mapping function, you’ll do it, right…?

126: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:59

Truth is, since the first generation demon doesn’t join, I think humans are better.

127: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:59Yeahx1

Including the “Chronicles of the Unusual” and “Last Bible,” your lifespan will run out first.

128: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:59Yeahx5

The MegaTen games before 3 had a satisfying level of difficulty, but once you realize how to win through buffs and debuffs, it’s actually quite a simple game.

129: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:59Yeahx1

I’ve played Shin 2 multiple times, but I think I just really love the scale and enormity of it.

130: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)16:59

Before Pretern, it was often treated as having a rough balance.
Megaten has always been a dark, adult-oriented, high-difficulty game.

143: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)17:02

>>130Isn’t it that the original setting, which created the demon world from Asuka Magical Palace, isn’t really like a game?

132: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)17:00

You’ve fully completed the Demon Dictionary, right?

134: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)17:01

Isn’t it the GBA version that added various elements to Shin Megami Tensei II?
I want to do that too.

135: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)17:01Yeahx2

Regarding the execution of the heroines of Devil Children: Light and Dark, those who enjoy ryona will probably have a great time…
There’s a possibility that JS is being publicly humiliated…

159: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)17:06

>>135It could also be possible that this happened because it is Valhalla from the European cultural sphere…
Hanging, disembowelment, and being drawn and quartered.

136: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)17:01Yeahx2

After playing RE2 remake, I was surprised by how many times I thought, “Is this a self-homage?” when I played the original RE2.

137: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)17:01

Imagene can’t be said openly, but there are emulation servers.

138: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)17:01

I’ve done the numbering, and I’ve also worked on spin-offs like Giten, RONDO, Majin, and Last Bible, so I think I’ve done quite a bit.
Still, I haven’t done IMAGINE or the flip phone series.
The flip phone series has started to be ported, but I don’t have much motivation…

140: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)17:01

I recently gave up on Solhaca 2 in Free Play.
If there isn’t any charm in other parts, the dungeon will be terrible and I really won’t be motivated…

141: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)17:01Yeahx3

In the end, what happened to the copyright of the ceremony?

142: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)17:02

I’m playing Persona 2, but it took me three months to clear both Innocent Sin and Eternal Punishment.

I graduated feeling satisfied with my Debichiru white.
I really got interested in the phrase from the final installment, the Messiah Riser, and later felt like I should have followed the new series as well.

150: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)17:03

>>144Well… yeah… it’s that kind of work, and the Mesializer isn’t really that important of an item throughout the series…

145: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)17:02

I don’t want to change the lunar phase of the lazy world over and over…
Even with an Estoma, it’s a hassle.

146: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)17:02Yeahx2

Isn’t it that Shin 2 is cursed and covered in bugs with an incredible momentum on both the SFC and the GBA it was ported to?

188: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)17:14Yeahx1

>>146I played on the Switch and it made me chuckle.

Debichiru has a low difficulty in obtaining both light and dark, and it’s easy to set up the play environment.
I wouldn’t recommend anything after Puzzle de Call unless you really like it for the price.

149: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)17:03Yeahx1

The FC2 Buffrao Stone and the Shin 1 Geo Neural Bullet are really poorly made, but they are incredibly fun.

151: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)17:03Yeahx1

Was there any bug-like bug in the GBA version of Shin 2? Not in the PS version?

161: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)17:06

>>151I heard there were some issues, though not as much as with the Dominator version.
I might be confusing it with the problem where the additional elements of the scenario contradict the main story.

152: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)17:03Yeahx1

Oh, I can confidently assert that most of them are not playing.
In the Jack Brothers’ maze, hee-ho!

153: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)17:04Yeahx1

Wasn’t there a card game like Card Hero?

154: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)17:04

>>153I found it!

155: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)17:04

Isn’t it impossible to play the Famicom version without the actual console?

156: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)17:05Yeahx2

The PS version of Shin 2 was full of bugs, to the extent that there was a replacement offer.
The GBA version is the complete edition.

157: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)17:05

I generally dislike four-character baldness, but for some reason, I can’t bring myself to dislike the old 2.

160: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)17:06Yeahx1

Since it’s a good opportunity, let’s do Tsukuyomi too!
It tastes more like Megaten than I expected!

174: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)17:11

>>160I feel like it’s a game that is wasting my time the most! That’s why I’m not really into it.
There’s nothing left except rank experience points and generated tokens!

162: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)17:07

Also, starting now, I can’t play “Shin Megami Tensei Syncro-Nicity.”

163: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)17:07Yeahx1

The map brings back tough memories; the Devil Summoner’s Tendo Mansion and Kanteibyo are traumatizing.
Dark types that do not have sufficient light type allies do not listen to level difference types.
The map is difficult because the enemies that appear are oddly tough, and there are accidental deaths along the way due to too many bad conditions.
Once you go beyond here, the quality of your allies dramatically increases, so you won’t have as much trouble with enemies.
And I have no memory of Inarna being strong at all… It gives me the impression of being the weakest among the bosses.

164: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)17:07Yeahx1

The intense mapping feels like a distant memory of punishment being hell.

168: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)17:08

>>164It’s just punishment, but the rewards are good, though it’s fine not to do it.

165: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)17:07

I looked up to see if there was an app version of Shin I, and it turns out it has been discontinued.

166: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)17:07

Tsukuyomi, the god-hunting game, is amazing because I was able to climb to the 100th floor with the card I received from artist K.

167: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)17:08

The first Devil Summoner was tedious and tough.

179: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)17:12

>>167The conversation success rate is kind of low in Devil Summoner.
When hackers gather apps (Darkman, Ladykillers, Moon Adult)
Failing will become the rarity.

169: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)17:09

I tried playing Devil Summoner 1 again, and I still don’t understand how I was able to clear it back then.

170: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)17:10

Wasn’t the amazing bug in Mega Man Battle Network 2 in the GBA version?

175: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)17:11Yeahx2

>>170The initial batch of the PS, commonly known as the “Domi version,” has so many bugs that there’s now a recall uproar.

171: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)17:10Yeahx1

Devil Children has “Shin Megami Tensei” attached to its name, but it’s not a direct series, right?
Tach-chan and Kyoji appear in Battle Net, but…

181: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)17:12

>>171It may not be numbered, but it should be regarded as a legitimate entry in the series.

185: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)17:13

>>171It’s loosely connected in terms of values, similar to Megaten, Devil Summoner, and Persona, but not firmly connected.
Occasionally there are direct sequels, but apart from that, there are connections between the worlds, although one could also say there are none.
That kind of feeling.

172: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)17:10Yeahx1

It wasn’t the GBA version, but the PS version, the crazy guy from Shin 2.

182: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)17:12Yeahx4

>>172Kufu cast Tarukaja, Lin (immediately after this, freeze).
Dominator obtained the Dominator (immediately froze afterwards).
When you Google it, the Dominator comes up right away.

173: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)17:11

I still think Soul Hackers has the best devil conversations.
I like the atmosphere of chatting with that friend.
I want to learn from Soul’s strength to say “Don’t be so angry” to the raging Demon King.

176: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)17:11

It was fun to draw whatever I wanted because of the Devil Summoner physics grid mapping, but if I do it now, I might die of frustration from the warping.
I have the impression that the mayor was extremely strong.
Also, the horseman’s reflection accident.

177: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)17:11Yeahx4

One overlooked point regarding why “Shin Megami Tensei: Persona” was so popular in that era, attracting many beginners (and female otaku) despite its difficulty, is…
A massive feature article by Dengeki PlayStation.

178: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)17:12

Even without bugs, the PS version of Shin 2 feels kind of sluggish.
The fact that True 1 and the subsequent if are so smooth makes me wonder why just this one?

180: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)17:12

The domestic version was really a mess.
I had never done a dominator hang, but it was really terrible otherwise too.

183: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)17:12Yeahx2

The phrase “Dominator” in “Dominator that has acquired a dominator” has a certain undeniable power to it, doesn’t it?

184: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)17:13

If you’re going to play the fake version, which is better, Win or PC98?

186: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)17:13

What was the title of the Metroidvania featuring Jack Frost as the protagonist?

190: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)17:14Yeahx2

>>186The Shin Megami Tensei Synchronicity mentioned above.

191: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)17:14

>>186That is synchronicity.

212: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)17:19

>>186For a moment, I wondered if it was about Hee-Ho in the maze…

187: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)17:13

Debichiru is a project brought in by an outsourcing company, and the staff who have been involved in making Atlas’s MegaTen are not involved.
I have properly obtained permission to use “Shin Megami Tensei” in the title.
It feels like the Mega Man World series.

189: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)17:14

Which one features Great Pascal again…?
True 1 and True 2 transplant overshot!

196: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)17:15

>>189Mega CD version
You can play on the Mega Drive Mini 2!

207: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)17:18

>>196The one calling themselves Great Pascal is the PCE version.
Moreover, the PCE plan mentions later that Pascal will “not be combined.”
The Mega CD version needs to be “combined” in Kichijoji.
The name is “Pascal” and it doesn’t come with a “Great.”

211: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)17:19Yeahx3

>>207The lack of unification is subtly terrible.

199: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)17:16

>>189It should have been Mega Drive and GBA.
Was it the PC Engine too?

192: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)17:14

Recently, 20XX suddenly came to Steam, but I wonder if there will be others as well.

209: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)17:18

>>192It seems they mentioned that they will release Tokyo Iborn Record during the G-mode Archives 5th Anniversary live stream!

214: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)17:19

>>209The G mode is really appreciated.

193: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)17:14Yeahx1

In Devil Summoner, the devil conversation aptitude acquired during the initial character creation (conversation with her).
Isn’t that an absolute difference that can’t be turned back twice?

204: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)17:17

>>193Does that have not only the partner’s magic type but also conversation suitability?

215: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)17:20Yeahx1

>>204For example, if you only engage in anti-social behaviors related to not wearing pants, it comes off as cynical (like, “You can just die, you know”) and it really resonates positively with infants.
On the other hand, the rough types were completely wiped out and I couldn’t scout them no matter what.

219: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)17:21Yeahx3

>>215The play feel is too different!

195: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/31(Sat)17:15

It can only be said that the battle test didn’t go well; at this point, the data for the master up has been blown away, making the Dom version really something.
The overall attack only targets the character in the top left twice and then ends.
