[Karakuri Circus] I don’t know why, but I watched it all at once because I could find it on YouTube, and isn’t this anime adaptation pretty high quality…?

Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)09:00Yeahx8

Well, they’re really cutting into it, aren’t they? Silvestri! And suddenly around Rize-san, huh? No… the original work had quite a bit of that feeling too… but the action is flashy, and above all, the voice actors’ performances are incredible and really grab your heart.
Having reached my forties, I cried my eyes out at the tragic ends of Colombine, Francine the doll, and Harlequin, and I am perfectly normal, thank you very much!

1: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)09:01

The oldest four are nice, right?

2: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)09:07

I understand the feeling of “there’s none of ◯◯ because I know the original,” but I think they managed to wrap it up quite well within the season.

4: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)09:10

I’m not dissatisfied with any part that wasn’t cut, except for when Gii took George’s role in the Zonaha ward.
I really can’t accept that one part, but the four oldest and the last ones are all wonderful.

5: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)09:11

I think they did well considering that it originally exceeds 40 volumes, so a lot of compression was necessary.

6: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)09:12Yeahx6

>なぜか知らないけどつべで見れるから一気に見たけどこれアニメ化としてかなり質良くない…?No…

7: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)09:16Yeahx5

The anime adaptation that served as the perfect opportunity for the moonbow to emerge into the world.

88: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)10:16

>>7(How may I feel about winning)
(This is gold)

9: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)09:21Yeahx2

I wanted one more season…

10: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)09:25

>>9Maybe even if it happens, I’ll wish for one more season at that time.

11: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)09:28

I wonder what people who only watch anime thought about the scene where someone suddenly starts eating stones.

13: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)09:29

>>11I thought it was quite a classic gag.

12: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)09:28

Jubilo has the image of not being very fortunate when it comes to being adapted into anime.

14: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)09:33

But there are parts where it’s a bit strange to allocate an entire episode to Minshia’s battle in the latter part!

15: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)09:34Yeahx1

It was quite shocking that Dahr was cut.
I thought it was quite noticeable among the tent group…

16: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)09:38

Viruma’s shooting star is nice, isn’t it…?

17: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)09:39

It was really something to skip over Liese and the drums, and Princess Eri…

18: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)09:40

>>17Well, if we’re going to cut it, then those episodes can’t be helped… I understand the feeling of wanting to see them.

19: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)09:40Yeahx1

The quality as animation is good, but the quality as an adaptation is a bit…

20: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)09:41Yeahx2

It’s a popular episode, and I guess they really wanted to include that part, but I thought it was better that they didn’t force George to play the piano…
I didn’t care if I had to treat children roughly to get information about the midnight circus, but it’s better to do it for the scared children during the hospital attack.

25: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)09:44

>>20It’s good to be motivated by hearing the voices of those kids who did such terrible things, but that’s something Gi did…
Gui would never do something like that, and both sides are at a loss.

21: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)09:41

The two who played the tiger and the white-faced roles are confused about being cast as Narumi and Shirogane.

22: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)09:42

The anime was too fast for me to understand well, but I bought it anyway.
I cried after reading the original story later.
Mr. Pantalone’s smile is nice…

23: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)09:43

When watching anime, for some reason, there always seems to be a kid with a ridiculously heavy past and incredible abilities in a super poor circus troupe.

24: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)09:43

It’s just outrageous that Faceless is already dead in the next episode after its debut.

26: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)09:45

I think the final four characters, or rather Harlequin, are characters that were completed in the anime.

27: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)09:45Yeahx3

Most of the original story readers had expected that the entire village arc would be cut, regardless of their likes or dislikes.

28: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)09:45

It’s a pity that there wasn’t any exchange about the fact that I can sing because it’s not just about having no choice.

29: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)09:46Yeahx3

I absolutely won’t forgive you for the terrible alteration where Guy interrogates children.
This is no longer just about length; it’s the worst and most unacceptable alteration that should not be done.

30: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)09:46

I wonder if they would somehow release a complete edition by mistake.

31: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)09:47

>>30Pachinko is selling really well, so there’s a chance.

37: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)09:49

>>31The Demon King Narumi is going to appear in the anime…

32: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)09:47

The anime is good, but I really want you to read the original work.
Read the extras in the paperback.

33: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)09:47

As expected, Katsu suddenly became too strong!!!

36: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)09:48

>>33There were originally some hints, but I awakened as a puppeteer due to events in the village…

42: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)09:51

>>33Even if you have knowledge from downloads, your physical abilities are lacking, so training is the village chapter, right…
Also, there was no training part, so the scene where I rush to Gii’s self-detonation felt disconnected and awkward.

34: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)09:48

Village editing is nice, isn’t it…
Renge’s panties and such.

35: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)09:48

The Black Museum is just the right size.
I hope they make an anime this time that won’t give anyone any reason to complain.

39: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)09:50

>>35Expectation for the Shiki Theatre Company.

40: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)09:50

>>35If it’s Springard, we can do it in 12 episodes including the epilogue, right?

41: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)09:51

>>40The epilogue is…
It’s a nice story, but the main part is already beautifully concluded on its own.

46: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)09:53

>>41I’m shocked! Don’t you want to see the part where they undress in the anime!?

53: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)09:55

>>46That’s why it can’t be adapted into an anime!

38: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)09:49

I really love the scene of Pantalone receiving the command from Shirogane in the final battle with Arleccino.
I’m jealous of directors and animators who can draw such great scenes even though they’re not from an anime background.

43: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)09:51

I understand that it might not be possible to pay for it, but when adapting a completed work into an anime, it’s natural to expect the complete version.

45: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)09:52

>>43If you start saying that, it will turn into a cow and tiger.

44: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)09:52

I feel like the conversation has become a bit dull since Mr. Hōan is not here.

47: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)09:53

Why can’t I hear “Gekko” in pachinko or slots?

52: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)09:55Yeahx1

>>47I think the composers haven’t given permission, like in Macross’s erotic flight.

62: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)10:00

>>47It’s about rights…

64: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)10:01

>>47Isn’t it the same as not being able to use Hikaru Utada in Evangelion?

48: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)09:53Yeahx1

Compared to Karakuri, Ushitora managed to compress it quite well.
Well, it’s obviously the same number of chapters even though there are 10 volumes different.

49: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)09:54

But even if they were to animate the missing parts, wouldn’t it take about 30 episodes?

50: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)09:54

I wanted to see the story of Narumi-niichan and Hime-san in the anime.
Mr. Rapture…

51: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)09:54Yeahx1

Lize, who has been there from the beginning, is somehow slowly growing on me.

59: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)09:59

>>51It’s a struggling circus, but there are some amazing talents here.

54: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)09:56

Works like Jubilo, where the essence lies in seemingly useless episodes, are difficult to adapt into anime.
It’s just that they want to pick up everything, so there are almost no unnecessary episodes left…

55: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)09:56Yeahx1

I really can’t understand the last cut of Sahara.

56: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)09:57

The cow and tiger were at a remarkably surprising super high tempo and pace.

58: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)09:58Yeahx1

>>56The yakuza and the satirical cut could not endure.

83: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)10:14

>>56(The long figure of the west is here before I knew it.)

90: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)10:17

>>56Your journey was not in vain.

60: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)09:59

Your journey was not in vain.

61: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)10:00

Satori is definitely unnecessary, but you shouldn’t cut it out…

63: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)10:00

But it’s great to be able to see good scenes in anime.

65: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)10:01

In the manga, I could handle it, but when I saw the scene of Akihara being so muscular in the anime, it was kind of funny.

66: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)10:03

At times like this, I want to say they should create anime adaptations of scenes that haven’t been animated yet using pachinko! But I doubt SANKYO and Daiichi can come up with something that clever.

67: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)10:03

>>66Daiichi was doing his best, at least in the first season of Higurashi!

71: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)10:04

>>67Daiichi only works hard for Higurashi, right?

68: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)10:03

>>66Demon King

72: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)10:04

>>66There is the Demon King Narumi!

75: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)10:05

>>72It’s referring to scenes from the original work that haven’t been animated…

69: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)10:03

I want Spriggan or Evil Eye to be adapted into an anime.

70: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)10:04

Was the action good…?

73: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)10:04

Katsu uses time on the mystery of his birth, so there’s absolutely no room to include circus elements!

74: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)10:05Yeahx2

I felt the determination to do as much as possible within the short timeframe.
At least it’s not an anime without love for the original work.

76: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)10:07

I really couldn’t understand why Daiichi used the scene just before Asako loses her memory in the guaranteed big win reach of the Ushioto Tora pachinko machine.

77: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)10:07

However, now it has become even more difficult to obtain resources for making anime than it was back then, so it was good to have a digest version.

78: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)10:07

It’s unfair that even though it’s about the ox and tiger, they compensate for the cut parts with the music.

79: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)10:08

Personally, the last four characters shone even more in the anime than in the original work.

80: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)10:09

In the end, not just the dolls, but turning them into a video was really great.

81: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)10:10

There was also the power of the voice actors.
The Pantalone Harlequin battle was great!

82: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)10:11

To be honest, I’m wondering if this is really Narumi’s brother’s voice.
But when you ask who else, it’s hard to say.

84: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)10:15Yeahx2

The faceless voice was really good.
It feels like an old man but with a funny voice.

85: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)10:15

The mechanisms of the Pachinko Circus 1 were quite good; the production was elaborate.

89: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)10:17

>>85What is the mystery collaboration of 2…?

91: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)10:19

>>89Packed too much into 1.

86: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)10:15

For now, please sing Colombine’s song casually.
Eh…!?

87: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)10:15

Toshio Furukawa’s Face-less is so interesting that I like it too much.

92: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)10:19

I’m not asking for much, but please make another short anime with a quality similar to that of Karakuri no Kimi.

93: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)10:29

Extreme
Peerless

94: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)10:37

Since pachinko and pachislo have become a big hit, new anime will likely be partially created for that purpose.

96: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)10:39

>>94Is it Demon Narumi too?

95: Japan Otaku Reviews25/05/25(日)10:39

It’s clear that they really want to portray the iconic scenes, and they have done a good job with that.
