**STEEL BALL RUN** LUCKY LAND COMMUNICATIONS/© Hirohiko Araki, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure SBR Production Committee
It’s easy to read, isn’t it?
It’s nice that what used to be a rough weekly serialization has now become something that is drawn carefully over time… the atmosphere feels different.
My perspective on the male world has changed quite a bit.
The conclusion is quite difficult, but if asked which part I like the most, it would be among the candidates.
>>4
The number of favorite characters is 4.
The impact of the painting is a 5.
My favorite character is in 7, and I like the flow of the story.
It feels like that.
The praise of humanity is too dazzling, so being around zero from a negative is just right.
>>5
Isn’t this quite bright too!?
>>6
Well then, I guess I’ll stick to something like JoJolion…
The logo has been quietly modified for the anime.
>>7
It’s already become a regular occurrence, but since Parts 5 and 6 were quite refreshed, this time it’s relatively in line with the original form.
The illustration is too cool.
>>10
I feel like the drawings were the most vibrant around the middle of the seventh part.
Johnny is quite an ideal growth-type protagonist.
It’s great that they are already capable and are continuing to grow.
I think the painting had the most richness.
I like the first race, but I’m worried that it might get boring when watching it in the anime.
It’s not a strange thing, but I like the scene where they are hunting fish and eating while chasing Dio on the last steamship; there are many surreal scenes like that.
>>15
Aren’t you getting paid by Dio…? 🔫
I think the storyline as a buddy movie is also perfect.
>>16
The distance of being best friends and mentor is nice, isn’t it?
I also like that both Johnny and Gyro had messy lower bodies.
It felt like a return to the origins when a character with a visual similar to one of the enemies from the first part appeared.
>>19
There is certainly a return-to-basics element.
>>20
I think there was a bit before it became a stand battle.
I hope it’s not an exclusive distribution.
Well, it’s a return to the basics.
The world itself
It’s funny to think that the early salty-faced Johnny was a handsome guy from the beginning.
I feel like there are a lot of pretty strong stands when I read it again.
It’s nice how the Stand had a special ability as its main feature, and its gun remained strong in hand-to-hand combat until the end.
I think 90% of SBR fans like the buddy dynamic between Johnny and Gyro.
I think the excitement of episode 1 is the best in all of JoJo.
I wanted to see a pure race without stands as well.
The complexity of abilities has increased, but depending on the opponent, it can be a bit of a downside that it’s difficult to understand what’s happening.
If it can be expressed well in anime, the evaluation will rise.
>>29
I only felt that it was complicated in Civil War and D4C, but I have the impression that the abilities are basically simple.
The two examples are incredibly confusing.
There’s no miss in Johnny’s awakening episodes.
I guess I’ll go with Part 7 since it turned into JoJo after all.
Sandman → Soundman still makes me go huh??? I’m looking forward to the reactions of first-time viewers.
>>32
“Enjoy it with sound.”
Vampires are too good at portraying male friendship, the thrill of travel, and its ending.
It’s better than the stand battles I created myself.
Abdul experiencing unnecessary terrible situations.
>>34
Not dying and dropping out of the race can be considered fortunate in a way.
What will you do in a week on the 7th?
Is the mystery of camouflage finally being revealed?
Please release a lot of SBR merchandise!!
There are occasionally scenes that I don’t really understand.
But overall it’s interesting, so I’ll forgive it.
>>40
I will never understand why my legs become flat due to the technique of rotation.
>>44
I don’t really understand it myself, but while I could accept things like transferring impact to the ground through rotation or creating mirages, this particular thing was not accepted at all.
I wonder who will be the voice actor for Gyro.
>>42
Well, aside from Kaji-kun, Mikisin hasn’t appeared in other departments yet, right?
Mrs. Steel is a femme fatale.
It might be too late to mention, but based on the PV, it seems that after Part 7, it’s indeed set in a world after the first round (although it looks like it might be after not having fully completed the first round).
Part 7 is interesting enough that it doesn’t even need a preface like “without gimmicks.”
When they say it’s an 8-part series, even if it’s a joke, I’m curious about what part of it became a joke.
>>46
There are so many topics being made fun of on the bulletin board, so it’s understandable to get a bit heated.
The overall quality is high, so it’s like, what was the deal with the sound man and the zombie horse!?
I didn’t understand the meaning of the battle from the time “Chocolate Disco” came out.
I would be happy if it becomes easier to understand through animation.
If you go to the world of men, it’s generally quite interesting.
I remember that the enemy characters up to that point were lacking in charm.
I wonder if they could somehow use soul’d out for the OP or ED…
>>52
I have to escape from Bushiroad…
The First Lady is a little pitiful…
>>53
I thought Mr. Araki went crazy at the Pressure Festival.
Even without the jokes, Part 7 is JoJo’s greatest masterpiece. Personally, I like Part 2 the most, but when I think about JoJo, there’s nothing else like it.
>>56
It’s a bit too long to call it a masterpiece, Part 7.
The peak level of excitement is indeed the highest.
The ending was so amazing that it tends to be forgotten, but the slowdown in the middle was actually quite long in real-time, and many people dropped out.
I stopped buying Ultra Jump and distanced myself from it, along with everyone else.
>>57
I thought that a monthly serialization is tough for the readers, after all.
Well, Act 3 doesn’t really make much sense, does it?
Lucy changed her perspective when she realized it was Hayato Kawajiri and Emporio.
Drawing horses in anime seems really difficult.
>>64
The animation team seems like they keep shouting “It’s impossible!”
>>67
Well, it’s a Western after all…
Stone Ocean is a good story if you follow it in the anime, I thought.
When it was serialized weekly at that time,
The heavy weather slug is a trauma.
Since most of the stage was set in a prison and was gloomy, it was tough.
It’s understandable for Johnny to change, but I really prefer Gyro with a mix-in.
There are parts of JoJo that are recommended to be watched in one go.
>>68
Despite all the various opinions, I found JoJolion really interesting when I watched it all the way through.
Since Part 7 is a work from 20 years ago.
No matter how you look at it, the serialization period is too long.
What is the best match of the anonymous?
>>71
Is it the first race?
>>71
That’s (2) Tubular Bells, isn’t it?
I still say it doesn’t matter now, but I really loved the early days when they were trying to develop skills and techniques instead of stand battles.
>>72
I like it too.
But I feel like the outcome was just that the iron ball did something mysterious and won.
Soundman!
>>73
I hope it gets supplemented somehow by an anime.
Because it requires many times more horse illustrations than Attack on Titan.
It seems like I understand Civil War, but I don’t really understand it. Is that really Johnny after that…?
It’s been over 10 years since I thought, “I wonder if Steel Ball Run will be animated when part 1 of the anime comes out.”
It’s no surprise that horses have become CGI.
Do your best in the places where you don’t need to reflect your feet ♥
What the…?!
I like the world of men, but I dislike that it has been stolen by unknown black people.
If I read the description as it is, will Johnny’s father’s achievements as a disruptor of the Triple Crown races be depicted just as they are?
The elements of the 7th part being parodied are probably just the handling of Mike O here, the winter catfish, and the soundman.
>>86
Like the husband of Wekapipo’s sister…
That guy’s wife’s brother died in a tragic and sudden way; it was pitiful.
Creating the ultimate golden rectangle with the last horse felt like a forced connection.
>>88
If anything, I think the golden rectangle is mostly a stretch.
>>91
Television has also completely discarded the golden ratio.
>>91
I was reading while thinking, “Aren’t the shapes of butterfly wings totally different?”
Now we also have 3D models…
I think it’s a good way of thinking that taking the long way around is actually the shortest shortcut.
The will to strive for the truth is more important than fate.
Overall, I feel a bit anxious that the first half is relatively dull.
What!? All the horse drawings are hand-drawn!?
>>93
There’s no way I can do this!
>>93
Even back in the days when there was unlimited manpower for animation, it was still unreasonable.
>>93
It can be said that it’s impossible to do it up to four times.
After that, doing the CG model is the proper thing to do.
Good brain few

At the end

Na
I like Ringo, but I don’t understand the trend that SBR is like Ringo’s main event.
>>96
The term “dressing rehearsal” might be inaccurate, but I think that’s around the time my somewhat fluctuating style became more established.
Do you also like Pork Pie Hat Kid and the Bunboon family?
>>99
I quite like the pork pie hat battle.
The sudden impact of the gyro and horse disappearing at the start is impressive, and the scene where it says, “Fangs that go beyond claws… from now on, let’s call them fangs (tasks)” is really cool.
I don’t really care, but after this, it was always claws (tasks) instead of fangs, right?
When Dio showed up, I thought, “Huh?”
I like Oecomoba too.
>>101
Is it because if you endure through that, eventually Dr. Ferdinand will come out and things will get interesting?
>>109
It’s impossible! There’s no way I can do it!
>>102
There’s no way I can do it!
There’s no way I can do that right away!
There’s no way I can do it!
Regarding the golden rectangle, it’s basically about one’s state of mind or perhaps something for mental stability.
There’s no way I can do it!
There’s no way I can do that!
There’s no way I can do it!
There’s no way I can do it!
I’ve said it four times! Hurry up and make the anime!
It’s interesting how something inexplicable is happening in the beginning, creating a creepy atmosphere.
Full of suspense
I quite like the Pork Pie Hat Kid.
I also like Oekomoba.
I still don’t fully understand the principle that allows a rotating cavalry to generate infinite energy.
To be honest, I don’t really understand at the point of act 3.
I wonder what the reaction was when the president, who was once overweight, suddenly became slim and handsome.
>>112
Unexpectedly fat → Has lost a bit of weight → Wasn’t he a handsome guy from another world?
>>112
It’s just another character whose design is changing… I took it as something usual.
It gives the impression that it might take one season until the part where the rope guy (I can’t remember the name) dies.
>>113
Mrs. Robinson! It’s Mrs. Robinson!
>>113
Mountain Tim!
>>113
I’m sorry.
I was a little carried away.
The person making the call was Mrs. Steel.
Please save my life.
Horses can be done with basic CGI, but I hope the crucial parts like the ultimate golden rectangle are hand-drawn.
It seems that a lot of people prefer Season 7 in the forums, right?
I’m in the 5th part.
>>118
I’m into Part 4, but Part 7 is also great!
>>118
Due to the age demographic, they are avoiding the 5th and 6th parts of Jump.
I have a feeling that many people are reading the 7th part anew.
What is a zombie horse…?
The Bunboon family is a popular character that also appears in the flashback of the final episode!!
I don’t know if it’s the best bout, but my favorite story is the episode of Tattoo You.
I think the president’s last appearance and first appearance are completely different in both demeanor and personality as well as ambition.
>>124
I heard that I’ve switched places with someone from a different dimension, and I understood.
It seems difficult to say that 6 or 8 is your favorite.
Wasn’t the enemy characters up to Ringo really mediocre? Blackmore comes after Ringo, right?
I like Diego more than DIO.
Basically, I love everything, and among them, the top one is… that kind of feeling.
I like the scene where the plucked strings reach, but what do we do? Shoot?
>>131
At first, Gyro had more of an outlaw vibe, but it’s nice to see the reversal.
I like that Johnny and Gyro are close.
I like Part 3 for the same reason.
I thought there was not a single cloud in my heart, but it turned out to be a disgusting scene.
>>133
Everything is done out of justice and patriotism, so it’s a man like Funny Valentine who can easily deceive others while piling on pretty words.
I just really like Johnny.
It’s rare for a JoJo protagonist to feel fundamentally unselective about their means.
>>134
Because you are the owner of a jet-black will, not a golden spirit, Johnny.
Actually, it’s a scene where another world’s DIO is happily jumping with The World and landing.
I love you to death.
I can’t appreciate the unnecessary feeling of World Dio, but if this guy isn’t there to wrap up the work, it lacks freshness, so he is indeed needed.
>>139
Despite being called out, Dio seems incredibly pumped or sharp, or something like that…
I can only say that they are really doing it with a live vibe.
>>139
I love the subtitle “High Voltage” and the actual developments, so I need it.
The president is like the final boss, and world Dio is like a hidden boss that appears after clearing the game.
Having fewer main characters means that most of the damage focuses on just two people, which is quite painful and a bit tough to bear.
What the hell is a zombie horse?
It’s my own “world.”
I don’t know if I should call him spoiled, but Johnny’s change felt like that, and it was really interesting to watch.
The black flames burning in his eyes are really cool, aren’t they?
I’m already excited about how the OP will be directed.
The performance of the first round and the will of the pitch-black were done in Part 1 and referenced in Part 6, but I wonder if they’ll do it again.
5>4>7>3>2>1>7
>>148
It’s gone full circle.
>>148
Why were 6 and 8 excluded?
I was the same way, but in the early battles, the stand appeared… I think there’s definitely a part where one might have a negative impression on their first experience.
When I reread it knowing that kind of development, I was able to enjoy it normally.
“Zombie horse means something like a horse with patches (having seams) drawn on it.”
When you say zombie, it’s gotta be patchwork.
But in that world, before Dio appeared, when I was facing Mike O and talking about the world, I couldn’t help but think of Mike O…
I like Johnny’s growth and the feeling of the journey aimed at reaching the goal with Gyro.
I feel like part 6 is just too difficult, but part 7 has battles that are easier to follow.
If that’s how you want to apply the golden rectangle scale, then I feel like anything goes, right?
>>154
Doesn’t anything go, really?
It is something like a ritual for the user to calm their mind and spin.
>>164
I feel like it’s not just a misconception since I’ve actually been utilizing gravitational energy…
>>170
I remember that gravity was created through rotation, but was there already gravity in the golden rectangle of nature?
In the end, it’s like we’re back to the stand again… is how I feel.
I feel that JoJo has to be like this after all.
I think there are many types of stands that act on objects, which helps differentiate them.
I feel like I’m drawn to it simply because I like Westerns, but it’s definitely my favorite part in terms of how the theme is depicted.
>>161
I disliked the idea that people are all slaves to fate.
I like chapter 7.
>>161
Araki definitely loves Westerns, and if you think about his debut work, it was really like a second round.
World Dio comes out and High Voltage! is an incredibly intense secret boss, but it feels strange that Lucy just defeats him so easily.
I wonder if there will be a death scene in hot pants or something.
Even if I read it consciously, I don’t understand where it died.
Zombie horses are essentially a type of thread that heals wounds easily, so it’s just the provision of a regular medical kit.
The only mystery is whether there is any meaning in delivering it in a horse shape and why it has become popular with that name.
>>165
Originally, I tried to create a horse that could run continuously, but then I calmly thought, “Are you going to keep drawing zombies?” and made it a recovery item instead, don’t you think?
>>165
Well, it’s more like it would look better if it were mixed in with something rather than just a simple thread.
It might have a cryptic feeling, like it’s camouflaged in a picture of a horse.
Gyro originally wasn’t a Stand user, but is it correct to say that he manifested a Stand as a result of mastering the Golden Spin?
I’m happy about the anime adaptation, but if I’m being greedy, I wanted to see part 7 as a movie.
How about just showing the start and the goal without a theater release?
In competitions, if Johnny and the privileged Gyro were both competing against each other, then it’s understandable that Johnny would have a stronger sense of rivalry.
I really love how the story of the two characters deepens despite the increase and decrease of allies and neutral individuals, especially with the significant reduction in the number of JoJo team members.
It’s finally a world where trends are spreading…
I like parts 5 and 7, so I can find peace with this.
It seems like Blackmore’s direction would shine in an anime.
The first assassin feels like a standalone episode, but you can strongly sense the core of the work through the male-dominated world and presidential protection, which draws you in.
I might buy a Powerball and watch while spinning it…
>>178
Pay respect to the rotation.
I wonder if Dio will continue to be voiced by Koyasu.
In the world of Dio, I definitely prefer a serene voice, but for Dinosaur Dio, I feel like a slightly younger and higher voice might be better.
I want to hear the line “You worthless poor person!”
There are many scenes that get you excited.
I really love that there is always a sense of melancholy throughout.
>>181
I really like the ending of the Sugar Mountain fountain chapter.
I wonder how many cours it will be.
>>182
Isn’t it going to be summarized in 3 cours as usual?
>>184
We need four courses, right?
Is the spherical shaving mark that Sandman found in episode 1 from gyro practice?
Even if the president flies to a parallel world in search of a solution
It’s nice to know that the other world Johnny is also being fairly cornered.
>>186
I want to see stories about the world of precious gems.
I wonder if it’s an amazing stone like a red stone.
It’s exciting to have gone full circle by the time of the PV.
Tennis ball that hit the net.
Right now, Mike O and hot pants are fighting, but where’s the part that often appears in thumbnails saying “Know shame!”?
>>191
That’s six parts!
>>194
What, it’s a different department?
But it’s interesting to read about Steel’s wife in action, it makes me anxious.
>>191
It’s the 6th part…
Since entering the world of men, the atmosphere changes, and it’s not “there’s a chance we might die together in battle” anymore, but rather “clearly choosing to kill in order to win,” which makes the distinction more apparent, and I like that.
The early game is quite tough, so it’s hard to say it’s my favorite overall, but I really love the second half.
Part 7 has some great descriptions of the journey, conveyed through Johnny’s narration.
I don’t want a live commentary thread for Mike O’s episode.
>>199
I think a separate thread will be created.
Personally, I feel that the resolution between Johnny and world Dio is just fine as it is.
It’s not that I won the race or that I am invincible with a perfect record in stand battles, but I believe I have been expressing the idea of turning the negative of not being able to walk back to zero.
If it becomes an anime, I would be happy if they paid attention to details like the sound of the horse’s breath and the sound of horseshoes.
