I bought Shutoko Battle X and 360, and just as I was about to start, there was a loading error.
Being cheap and buying the initial model backfired on me.
(But I exceeded 10,000 yen in the Metropolitan Expressway Battle, so please forgive me.)
It seems like there is a problem with the lens, so I ordered parts from AliExpress.
It’s tough to have to wait a little longer.
This is my diary.
I’m unable to identify or describe any individuals in the image, but here is the text extracted: **Screen:** Home Social Video Game App Settings Open Tray Start from History Enjoy Xbox to the fullest! You must have understood, didn’t you?
Used items, you know…
Well, since I have all the necessary parts and codes, it might be interesting to try a junk gacha for the main unit.
Well, there isn’t really a place to put that many boxes.
The 360 junk is impossible because of the RROD.
Is the early model the one without HDMI? The condition looks good based on the images, though.
>>5This is the one with HDMI.
I’ve heard that the 360 really has a lot of malfunctions… but when I looked it up, it said 50%… doesn’t that mean we need multiple units?
>>6The later model doesn’t break, while the early model does, yeah.
Did you steam the blanket?
>>7It may temporarily get better, but once it cools down, it will return to how it was, and a permanent cure is impossible…
There is no better time to feel excited than when others are in trouble.
Wasn’t the blanket wrap a temporary fix for RRoD?
>>12I thought it was a technique to forcefully activate and demand a free exchange during the insurance period.
The year model check of the box ◯ is really important.
It’s a swamp, DIY repairs are.
>>14I’ve gotten used to disassembly and repair since I’ve replaced the exterior numerous times up until now.
When I saw the release date of Dream Club, which was in 2009, I started to feel dizzy.
Isn’t the current XBOX machine compatible?
>>18The Metropolitan Expressway Battle is not backward compatible, so it can only be played on the 360.
>>20I see.
Then I have no choice but to buy the 360.
The black period is sturdy, but the sound of the fans remains unchanged…
>>22Isn’t it more like a drive than a fan?
It becomes quite quiet after installation.
Wasn’t there a new release of Shutokou Battle on Steam?
>>24A new release is out in early access.
I got hooked on it and am collecting past works.
>>37I see… that sounds fun, great!
I just realized.
Isn’t it bad that the power supply is 14.2A while the main unit is 16.5A?
(Probably using the power supply from the modified version of the initial model)
>>25That yokan is unfortunately only for a specific model…
Be careful with Chinese repair parts; the warning is prominently displayed, highlighting the level of carelessness.
Huh…!?
That’s not the cause of the poor condition.
It seems like the power is on, great!
Since it’s 16.5A, could it really be an early model…?
I heard that the improved substrates have advanced in semiconductor and circuit shrinkage, resulting in reduced power consumption.
It’s already complicated enough with all the different specifications of the 360, and now they mix it in.
Is this the Mercari quality?
I wonder how many people have experienced RRoD.
I got hit four times and in the end, I received a soft drink as an apology.
>>32I’ve experienced it once, but…
I guess I’ll try looking for the original model’s power supply or the improved version’s main unit at Hard Off…
Isn’t it a good idea to look for an early model power cable at Hard Off?
>>34Since the box is not just the cable but the entire unit is external, it may be difficult to find it now.
It’s an early model, but I’ve been able to use it for about 4 or 5 years.
It’s great that repair parts are available at a low cost.
Our 360 was a dedicated Cave shooter machine.
If you’re going to take it apart, you might as well change the rubber belt of the disc drive too.
Each individual deteriorates due to aging from the time of production until its lifespan ends.
If it were 360, I would give it to you…
Right now we have the know-how for cooling, but solder can crack due to heat…
Well, recently there have been cases where the SD slot on the Rog Ally has had issues with solder due to heat.
Was the initial defect rate that high… I knew it was a lot, but…
I was incredibly lucky that I didn’t get pulled in on the first generation or the 360.
There was actually a past version of that Metropolitan Expressway Battle…
>>49The first installment is a quite respectable home racing game that dates back to the Super Famicom!
>>49The game itself is a legitimate one that has evolved from the SFC to the current system, originating from the DC.
Well, it has been about 20 years since the thread image X stopped…
>>49Actually, there are quite a few.
Let me show off my collection while I’m at it.

There’s a 360 on the TV shelf that hasn’t been moved in about 10 years.
I used up the controller on an online game I played on PC.
I’m not sure if it will move, but I’m hesitant to buy a controller just for confirmation, so it’s more of a decorative item.
I bought the Falcon base when it was released, and it remained functional for nearly 10 years until I bought the One X, but the consoles made before the S really felt like a hit or miss, almost like American products.
The red ring is nostalgic.
I also got the red ring.
I was too, so the chances of getting the red ring are really high.
>>54It’s not that it’s established, but everyone has been holding bombs from the very beginning.
It’s like a feeling of whether it will explode soon or later…
My 360 was sent for repair once every two years, and it lasted about five years after that.
I played a lot with the original XBOX, but I skipped the 360 because I couldn’t afford a Full HD TV, so I haven’t touched it until now…
>>55If I had bought a VGA (D-Sub) cable, I could have played on a PC monitor.
The 360 I bought used ended up with RRoD and had to go to the support center.
I remember everyone was playing Idolmaster.
>>59I bought it for Idolmaster, and it immediately showed the red ring…
My debut in the Metropolitan Highway Battle was the Super Technique Challenge on PS. I played it for a while before selling it off.
There was one RRoD occurrence in a high-load game on the Falcon hardware, so that’s the kind of quality it has.
When we received the initial model, it was D-Sub as well.
In the end, I replaced the drive and put in the BIOS, so it became offline only.
It’s one thing if it was the first generation, but why did they mess up in the second generation?
The PC’s graphics card has seriously been overheating around that time, and both the PS3 and Xbox 360 lacked sufficient cooling know-how.
I got the first RROD on AC4 and the second one on Halo 4.
I haven’t turned on the third-generation Elite for a long time, I wonder if it still works…
I’m a fan!
Why would you go out of your way to buy something old when there’s backward compatibility? How much money do you not have?
It’s amazing that because of that, it’s in the range of 3000 to 5000 yen!
I wanted to play Gears 2 after looking at the thread image.
I tried to turn on my neglected 360, and it seems to be broken…
It’s embarrassing even for me, who is completely unrelated, so you can delete the response now if you want.
Last year I bought Operation Troy and set up a room, but no one came without a name.
The 360’s heatsink is not in direct contact with the CPU.
Adjusting for proper pressure and reapplying grease can prevent RRoD.
It was a dedicated machine for the Earth Defense Force and HALO.
I bought a used one at a bargain price from a foreign seller on Amazon at the time, fully aware of the risk of the red ring, but it continued to work without any problems at all.
I don’t know if it still moves.
Real car games generally end up having their past titles discontinued due to rights issues, which is problematic.
>>79In the past, even OutRun had its struggles…
>>94I remember making a Canadian account just before the overseas limited XBLA OutRun was taken down…
If you want to play Tokyo Expressway Battle, wouldn’t it be better to buy a PC?
If you want to battle, why not do it in Wangan Midnight?
The 360 controller was a good item… even after disposing of the console, I kept the controller for PC use for a long time.
>>81That everyone with the cardboard in between, right!?
I played the Idolmaster too, but I remember being more passionate about playing Dream Club.
I have a feeling that this game console will be the first and last one I buy because it got damaged even though I didn’t use it in a weird way.
Professional junkers say to buy two of the same junk.
If you’re really planning to make it work, won’t you need about 3 more units?
The box-shaped controller was convenient because it was a time when Xinput was needed on PC and it was just a clearance item.
The Xbox controller is fine with cardboard, but it’s better and tighter if you insert plastic sheets.
I also wanted to play Tengai Makyou and spent a lot of money to buy it, but it was so poorly made that I gave up.
The first and last hard drive I sent for repair for support after many years of experience.
We used to put in paper that was about the thickness of a business card, folded in half.
I became the black second generation, so I don’t need that anymore.
Hehe… You really do love cars, don’t you? (laughs)
You should create a thread about the Metropolitan Expressway battle.
At least buy the black late model!
Does Ace Combat 6 have backwards compatibility?
>>96It’s available, but there’s no DL version, so it’s limited to the physical disc for XSX.
The black box controller recommended for MHF that I bought as a backup is still unused since I bought the box ONE controller before opening the package…
That hardware is… completely insane.
Running as if twisting the body…
There is a theory that I am simply attracted to that aspect.
Recently, Forza Horizon 4 has stopped distribution, and the rights issues are troublesome…
Is your birthday December 9th?
>>102Are you talking about Maxi’s license plate?
It’s not particularly like that, but I think I got it from a mini-game on 12/9 or something like that (I don’t remember).
If the address were closer, I would sell you a lively 360.
If there is a technology that allows for easy transfer.
It’s a nonsensical game where you smash enemies into the central divider and go, “Kuu~! This is it!”
Since the original Idolmaster and Otome G currently have no means to play on other platforms, if you want to play them, you have no choice but to buy an Xbox 360.
Since I can’t buy the DLC, my enjoyment is halved.
Buying cheap goods
I haven’t played Metropolitan Expressway Battle X, but both 0 and 01 had different flavors and were interesting.
>>108The quality of X can be said to have lively delivered the final blow to the series, so it’s fine not to do it!
Our Xbox 360 was unstable unless it was constantly cooled with a fan.
I played it again for the first time in a while, but I definitely felt the age of the graphics.

It’s the 20th anniversary of Idolmaster, so I want to play the first one again.
There are auditions that you can’t do unless you’re online.
X has an incredibly cool boss design, doesn’t it?
It was great that 01 could run in Osaka as well.
I thought it was nice to be able to run on roads I know because they are local.
The course has been reduced to half that can be run, and there are only about 15 cars.
Nissan, in a moment of madness due to the times, has made modifications illegal by saying, “Modified cars aren’t good, are they?”
Half of the 15 cars are Nissan, which is X (ten)!
Tickling the heart of a junior high school student.
When I pressed the power button for the first time in a while, there was no response.
The AC remains with the orange light.
Well, I guess it can’t be helped.
