This is me.
I thought I would wait to buy it until it got cheaper, but now it’s 30,000 yen or something, and I can’t afford it anymore.
Are there things you regret not buying? If it was out of reach at 30,000 yen, you probably didn’t want it that much anyway.
Too good of a deal hardware
I thought I should have bought the 1, so I bought this immediately while it was cheap.
I bought the Mega Tower from set 1 along with the exclusive bag, but I haven’t even opened the cardboard box yet…
I didn’t play with it much after buying it.
I thought I could wait until I really wanted it for the second one, but before I knew it, everywhere was sold out, and I messed up.
Why not just buy a mini?
Aren’t you talking about a mini?
After reserving 2 and buying it at the regular price, I bought 1 used for about 8000 yen.
Regarding the thread image, this is the last release of this type of reissue hardware, and the store doesn’t order that much for retail.
Before the release, the side that created it said there wouldn’t be another chance, so it was a situation where you should buy it while you can.
Everything I gave up on because I didn’t have money.
But if you keep buying like that, you’ll go bankrupt.
Base of Astro City Mini
Used items, aside from FC, have generally increased in price.
The only ones that have become cheaper in this type of mini are the Famicom and Neo Geo.
I was able to easily buy it when it was released, but later I ended up wanting it too much.
>>12Wasn’t the PS also cheaper?
I was grateful that the games with so-called premium value were included.
The Mega Drive 2 Mini and SFC Mini will probably never get cheaper for the rest of their lives.
>>14The Super Famicom Mini has been sold below its used price.
Speaking of which, the rush from a while ago has vanished like a lie and is no longer in mini cabinets…
>>15I’ve used it all up… I haven’t released anything since the Game Boy or something like that.
They clearly said that making a Saturn Mini is technically impossible.
>>23It seems like you were saying that it won’t be possible until ten years later.
By the way, it’s been almost 10 years…
>>15There is a limit to how low the price can go while maintaining performance around this level.
There are a lot of games in the Mega CD series…
I was trying to connect it, but since it was left unopened, I ended up selling it…
It’s the one where the official said every time during broadcasts, “It’s difficult to restock, so buy it when you can!”
Is it a Retro Freak?
I have no choice but to resell it.
>>18If you look for a local Yamada Denki, you’ll still find products lined up at regular prices.
Wasn’t the PS being heavily discounted?
International version of Neo Geo Mini, Jump version of Famicom Mini, PS Classic, etc.
I sometimes think that the prices were quite low during store inventory clearance at that time.
The PCE Mini was often heavily discounted on Amazon.
Once the stock is gone, it has become expensive.
I’m considering making a multi-game console that looks like a cabinet using something like a mud emulation or Raspberry Pi.
It would be nice if there was something good.
Every time I play PCE Mini, I think it hurts to hold this square controller…
>>27It’s designed to be usable right away by simply connecting a wired controller from Hori to the Switch.
It’s troublesome to say whether it fits the PCE title over there.
It’s much better that I can buy as much as I want.
What we should really regret is the things that no longer even come to market.
>>29What disappears from the market is because it gets sold out in seconds even when it arrives at Ideya.
Will the Mega Drive software for the Switch continue in the future?
I think the costs associated with manufacturing changed significantly around 2020.
Imported leather shoes
The talk is just that the Saturn Mini can’t be done at a low price…
To be honest, if you really wanted to, even a cheap Snapdragon can run something like a Saturn.
I bought it even though it was somewhat of a stretch, thinking it would definitely become a premium price.
I’m slightly thinking I should have bought a PS5 before the price went up.
I never thought the prices would rise this much.
Quiz games are normally fun.
The Sega quiz is just impossible.
I was looking forward to the Saturn Mini with the trend of miniaturization, but it didn’t come out.
The Game Gear Micro is a product typical of Sega.
>>41It’s way too small!
If we go to the generation above this, it’s almost impossible to bring memories home for just a little over 10,000 yen.
I think it was a situation where the price range of the Switch was becoming visible.
About 90% of the Super Famicom lineup is available on Switch Online, right?
I would be willing to spend around 30,000 yen for a Saturn Mini, but I probably wouldn’t be able to make a profit at that price.
It might be that the limited edition of the Aresta Collection being a shooting game just suited me well.
The Game Gear Micro isn’t as impossible to play as some say; in fact, it was quite enjoyable to use.
>>46The small size of the screen is surprisingly not bothersome.
The controller part is tight.
I bought it, but it’s been a long time since I stopped playing games, so I just opened it, messed around with it a few times, and then put it away. That’s it.
>>47Of course, I would be happy if the game lineup becomes more substantial, but I think it ultimately serves more as decoration or something akin to that.
I’m glad that both the first and second installments have quite a few RPG elements, but I’ve become noticeably worse at action shooting.
The Iglett II Mini and Akememo series have become outrageously priced.
If you try to get everything, it will exceed 100,000.
The Mega Drive Mini 2 was available for pre-order at Joshin until the last minute, and I procrastinated, so I couldn’t reserve it and I still regret it.
The PCE mini has that kind of hardware, but isn’t there a lot of STG (shoot ’em up) games!?
The new titles that cannot be played on emulators are probably only going to increase in price.
I haven’t heard about being sucked out and released yet.
Chernob and VK wanted to play around.
Clearing it was impossible without making full use of the start save.
I just wanted a mini arcade cabinet, so I bought one and was satisfied decorating with it, so I skipped on the second one.
I want to play Mega CD.
Let’s put aside the actual problem of what to do with the ROM image.
Is it possible to create a mini chassis similar to the 32-bit era machines?
>>57Regardless of the quality, the PS Mini has been released.
As expected, you’re just collecting good games.
It’s actually quite fun even now.
Mega Drive Mini 2
Speaking of which, it had SEGA mark V.
I immediately made a reservation because I wanted to do things like Popple Mail.
I felt it was a good deal because many used prices are higher than the mini console.
It’s helpful that it can be stored in a drawer with other minis because the main body is small.
It seems like there’s something interesting about hacking mini game cabinets.
The amazing thing about the Mega Drive Mini is that it’s adding new titles.
I should have bought more women when I was younger.
I have the PC Engine Mini, but I’ve started it up about twice and got bored.
Old games are boring without nostalgia and sentimental attachment.
It’s really disappointing that PCE didn’t include the Yōkai Dōchūki.
That one has the highest level of difficulty balance.
I think the only one I wished I had bought on a game console is VitaTV.
It’s easy to understand how incredible the Street Fighter II boom was when you gather all the mini-series that were released during this period.
I ended up buying the Genesis Mini 2 as well, kind of on a whim after getting the Mega Drive Mini 2.
A Darius created by an obstetrician-gynecologist.
Will the last fireworks of this kind be DDR Mini?
I was looking forward to Beatmania Five Keys Mini.
You can still buy it for 30,000.
This regret can still be recovered!
At that time, the used prices of the recorded titles were amazing, but I wonder if they dropped after the mini was released.
>>75It hasn’t decreased because there is collector demand.
However, items with pre-sale prices are increasingly seeing counterfeit versions, making buying and selling more difficult.
I should have bought the PCE when it was being sold cheap on Amazon.
I buy it but won’t do it.
>>77So I won’t buy it.
Reggae is generally like that.
I really wanted it at Hard Off, I wish I could buy it if it were cheap, but it’s something to enjoy posing with.
I have no complaints about the things I’ve bought from the mini series, but…
Since there are no available HDMI ports, it’s a lower priority than current models.
I haven’t been keeping it on, so my playtime hasn’t increased much.
>>78I used an HDMI switch, but I had trouble with the power connection, so I plugged it into the USB of the Switch, which made the wiring even more chaotic.
Unlike around the 2010s, the environment for purchasing digital versions has emerged, so the number of used packages circulating has increased and price declines have become less common.
As expected, there are still fewer old software titles, so the number of them that remain high in price is increasing.
I wish I had bought the PC Engine Mini.
Retro Freak sometimes increases production of converters as well.
Vita’s memory card and NEW3DS
Speaking of which, Night Trap is included.
Shall we do it…?
There should be a lot, but I’m forgetful so I don’t remember most of it.
I was waiting because someone said a mini Sega Saturn was coming out, but it never came. What the hell!
>>88As mentioned above, I believe Mr. Okunari from Sega himself said during the Mega Drive Mini 2 that they can’t offer it cheaply due to current parts, and that it would be nice if something could be done in the future.
A future where prices decrease isn’t visible.
>>88It seems that they were saying that the Sega Saturn Mini won’t be released for the time being, including the reasons why it won’t be.
>>88Rather, it’s the one that has been saying it wouldn’t come out repeatedly, right?
Is it because of the rise in prices like that, since it includes things like Chernobyl?
>>89Due to various reasons, there is little shipping outside of reservations.
Somehow, famous series will have collections or current console ports within ten years or so, but…
That being said, the packaged version may increase in price as well.
Some companies, like CAPCOM, make a profit and then sell digital versions absurdly cheap, and there’s no problem with that when it comes to playing.
I thought that with the release of Mini 3, maybe Arrow Flash would come, but there’s no way it would, and I don’t even understand why I care about it now.
In the world of collectors and premium items, manufacturers officially state that there will be no additional production.
Statements like “it seems like this is just for this time” or rumors about that software being difficult in the future can cause prices to rise.
I’ve packed it with games made for this purpose and games that weren’t sold back then…
Many people who wanted to buy it couldn’t because the reservations were closed early.
To be honest, I think that if someone has a sentimental attachment, it’s a level where they would normally pay 30,000 yen.
I’m not deeply attached, so I can’t go that far…
Due to the pandemic, it has become difficult to procure parts, prices have risen to be more than 1, and the production quantity has also decreased.
So it can be said that it turned out this way simply because the official repeatedly urged those who wanted it to make a reservation early.
Was the Mega Drive Mini 1 released before the pandemic?
It’s not that I lost out, but I bought the Asian version of the Mega Drive Mini just for Eri Sol, and then it got included in the Mega Drive Mini 2, which leaves me feeling quite ambiguous.
At Suruga-ya, the cheapest is around 21,000 yen.
I thought I lost my Mega Drive 2 during the move, but recently I noticed it was neatly displayed in a box with the dishes in the cupboard.
So this guy is a plate.
I’m a little regretful that I skipped buying the Core Grami just for the nearArcade version of Manda…
You can put it in as a bonus for the collection!
There are unopened items lying around the room, but they can be sold for a high price.
>>105There are quite a few people who keep things like this stored away without using them.
>>110If I don’t buy it, it seems like the price will go up… But if I’m buying it, then that’s not necessarily a mistake.
I thought if it was around thirty thousand, you should buy it.
There was a time when Coagrumini was sold cheap on Amazon.
I bought it on a whim.
The Mega Drive Mini 2 had a version included where balance adjustments were made at the time of transplantation, showing an exceptional level of dedication.
Wasn’t it around 11,000?
Quiz games have a sense of the times, so creating new questions requires a masterful attention to detail.
I bought the main unit, but…
I’m quietly regretting not buying the tower.
I think old quiz games (with modern question content) are stupid.
>>113Seeing that Mr. Okunari changed departments, and the boss we were working with left the company, after which Sega Ages completely halted, and the S distribution of Mega Drive titles ended, I really think it was the last fireworks for the MD2 Mini.
I think 30,000 yen is not a bad price, considering it’s roughly the cost of six software titles.
I understand the feeling of not wanting to buy something that is overpriced.
I bought it because the regret of not buying seemed greater.
I hope they release the mini Saturn and mini 64 someday.
The production staff mentioned that obtaining rights for things like voice-acting versions of Captain Tsubasa or reprint licensed items is difficult unless they are bundled together in multiple titles like this.
The person in charge of the licensing negotiations for the Mega Drive Mini 2 is working really hard.
I bought both as a donation because I had so much fun with the Mega Drive, but is that really what’s happening?
It’s a pity that Bahamut Chronicle didn’t make it in.
At that time, I couldn’t clear Shining the Darkness on the actual machine.
I finally cleared it after heavily relying on state saves.
It’s similar to the Egret II Mini, but it’s a bit of a hassle to release the main unit, so I’d like to see it released on PC or consoles as well.
I’ll buy it separately for playing later.
Sega’s unique items are too dependent on individuals.
If that person is gone
It feels like it’s the end.
>>124I wonder if we could do the porting in-house once that often-mentioned perverted programmer is gone.
Once it’s gone, a bunch of guys who want it appear and the price goes up.
It’s a common story.
I just checked, and the body alone can be bought at Suruga-ya for 8,300 yen.
I think it would have been fine to use the Switch rapid-fire Hori Pad as-is for the PC Engine Mini, and I didn’t need to buy a separate rapid-fire pad.
Recently, SEGA doesn’t grant permissions for standalone products.
I can feel that they’re trying to force it in like a series.
The transplant community is supported by a crazy passion like M2.
It’s amazing that they’re still planning to release additional titles even though IgleTTwo Mini has already released up to the third installment.
You’re using the SD card slot too much, aren’t you?
>>131It’s amazing to release it without worrying about being modified through security holes.
>>131There are titles that are trying to be released forcefully despite their specs being difficult, like the PS Mini.
The sound reproduction is finished, and although it’s a rough port because it’s a total minor game, it has some momentum, but it’s quite chaotic.
The games on the Master System included in Yakuza are likely ones that were originally intended to be released as mini versions.
The Mark III has surprisingly many licensed titles, and there are also many forced arcade ports of Master System games that were only released overseas by other companies, so I understand that it’s difficult…
>>136It’s impressive that it was developed until around 1995 overseas.
Honestly, what I want the most is a mini arcade cabinet that will endlessly loop the advertisement demo.
I bought the Mega Drive Mini for LUNAR, but my eyes were really flickering and I couldn’t handle it.
You have declined…
>>138The Mega Drive Mini and PC Engine Mini can appear shiny and hard to see without a filter.
I was trying to say “money and road bikes,” but I got pulled into the thread image.
I bought it for the Luna 2 MCD version.
It has not been opened yet.
