Joy-Con 2 (L) (R) 2 NINTENDO SWITCH Joy-Con 2 (L) Light Blue / (R) Light Red
I want to buy a cover for Joy-Con 2, but the reviews say that even the officially licensed ones have issues with misalignment, which makes me unsure of what to buy.
Is there no product that you thought was good?
Or it’s okay to have an opinion that might be off, but I don’t really mind.
The main body is not hit.
Stand up after you hit.
>>1I want to be prepared before it happens!
Silicone ones that just cover it really do slip off.
The plastic ones are less likely to come off, but they get covered in fingerprints very easily.
While TPU is a good compromise, it is weak against UV rays and turns yellow quickly.
>>3It feels like I should just avoid silicone.
I am TPU.
Do it with the Pro Controller 2.
If it gets dull from using it without a cover, take it apart and add your favorite color.
I think the best design is to have only the grip part made of silicone while the rest is matte plastic material, like it was with the old Switch.
Not yet…
Since it has been officially acknowledged, it probably means to use what is already misaligned if it is going to be misaligned.
It’s good with a strap.
>>10Well, it’s true that you shouldn’t use it in a way that would break it.
The correct answer is to leave the Joy-Con connected and use something like a Pro Controller or Hori.
>>12Are you completely ignoring the advantages of mobile mode?
Since it fits comfortably in my hand, I don’t need a cover.
>>13Because the way dirt adheres is different, it’s needed.
I don’t need it… well, I don’t have any games that seem likely to break right now anyway…
I want one for slapping when Fit Boxing 4 comes out.
Speaking of which, I just bought a recalled Cyber Gadget product.
I’m glad it was before docking.
Since controllers are consumables anyway, it’s better to use them without worrying.
Using non-slip gloves might be more reliable after all.
I usually don’t use covers, so I didn’t know, but even licensed protective films can be terrible, so I’m not sure what to do…
It’s scary to fully trust a reviewer without any pictures or anything like that.
>>20I bought one that seems easy to apply since it probably won’t affect the feel of the film too much, as long as it will protect it for now.
I’ve been using the Switch without a cover, so I don’t think it’s necessary.
It may still be at a stage where the official one is safe and secure, but when it’s connected to the dock, it occasionally gets too hot when taken out, and the fan works really hard to cool it down, so I really want an amazing cooling function.
>>23If I cover it, it will definitely be hot…
>>23I wasn’t paying attention since I was playing with the pro controller, but I guess it’s getting hot.
I want a dock and charging stand with a cooling feature…
I don’t want to put on a cover because I’m worried it might affect the heat dissipation.
I only have the grip that I missed canceling because I intended to hit it.
I had a similar situation before with a silicone cover for a different product.
I applied removable double-sided tape for posters that I bought at a 100 yen shop on the inside of the cover, and it was comfortable.
Will the TV mode survive near the terminals when we enter the height of summer…? There is a bit of anxiety about that.
I don’t know if the heat is from charging or from video output, but it’s holding heat like a small USB capture card, and it’s quite scary.
The Joy-Con itself feels comfortable in the hand, but this time the main unit is bigger and heavier, so I think it would be easier to hold with a cover that has a raised back like a grip.
As a byproduct, the mouse mode will also become easier to use.
>>31Helpful
If the dock is plugged in, it’s scary that it gets hot even when it’s in sleep mode.
I wonder if there are still no types of exchange shells available.
The fever is seriously getting out of control in the near future, and it’s scary.
The mouse mode really seems impossible to handle without a grip that completely transforms it into the shape of a mouse.
>>36Even without saying it, it’s quite usable, and if you attach a strap, it becomes pretty stable.
The strap’s sole is too focused on durability, and it might be more painful that it doesn’t glide well on a cloth mouse pad.
I want to cool the dock, but I’m also scared to use something inappropriate.
>>37For now, I bought a small fan and I’m playing while getting some breeze from it.
>>40Make sure not to hit the exhaust side.
>>37I’m using a Daiso disk fan, but I wasn’t really sure if it was effective.
I’m looking forward to the unofficial ultra-compact output dock.
If you’re worried about getting dirty, I think it’s better to wear gloves.
If I lower the image quality output to the TV, will the dock’s heat become somewhat better?
>>42When I used a conversion adapter to connect to VGA output for an old monitor, it improved the situation.
I feel like.
might be
Maybe
Was there a hard plastic in Switch1, but not now?
>>43There is one, but the one that is currently out might be based on leaked information.
There are some that are being recalled because they don’t fit in the dock.
>>44I see… that’s unfortunate.
I feel like I can’t do the thing where you attach a cover and combine the LR to make one controller, but is that okay?
I don’t need a cover.
I think you can get it repaired for about 4000 yen per side, so rather than buying a cover for a few thousand yen and getting frustrated, it’s better to use it heavily and if it gets worse, just have it repaired.
>>50Repairs are basically done by replacing parts with the original, so it won’t be like new.
Please replace the exterior! I’m not sure if it will go through.
Since China or somewhere else will just make the casing and sell it, if it gets dirty or something, I’d just be fine with swapping out the casing.
If you’re getting irritated with the cover, why not just buy a spare Joy-Con in case it gets dirty?
I wish someone would implant a Switch 2 in my brain…
It’s a reversal of thinking.
You should always wear gloves when playing.
Is the reason for protecting it so much just to sell it for a high price when you get bored?
>>58I don’t want to feel like “ahhhh!” when I drop it.
I just want to do what I can because I simply want to take good care of it…
Even if I were to sell, it would be about 10 or 20 years later, so I’m not thinking that far ahead.
Silicone covers tear easily when made too tight, so they are basically loose.
If it’s going to be useless anyway, why not wait until it goes on sale at the 100 yen store?
I apologize for the basic question, but can the Pro Controller from Switch 1 be used with Switch 2?
>>64I’ve seen that question in various threads, but it works.
Thank you.
When a thread for peripherals is created, should I include it in the thread text?
“The controller for 1 can be used, but it can’t be turned on remotely.”
If you don’t have one, buying a Pro Controller for 1 won’t give you a charging method, right?
>>68Is there anyone these days who doesn’t have a Type-C charging method?
