Since I did the numbering all the way through,
I want to talk about and give a personal evaluation of Vicky, who is eternally 16 years old. Is that okay?
That’s fine.Thank you.
First of all, Suikoden I Vicky.
On the way to the elf village at the request of Kill Kiss, I encounter something in the great forest.
It seems to have come from a position almost behind, but if we’re adding on, could it be Falena from 5?
Since it’s not a playable character at 1, it’s a teleport and war unit.
There are few places where the story can be told as it feels like it ends right after they become companions.
This is not just a story about Vicky.
Characters who continue from 1 to 2 show cases where their personality and speaking style have changed.
Vicky is also kind of like that… I don’t think she’ll talk about her sad background after 2.
But I wanted them to be playable in a cute remaster.
Speaking of cute, the remaster’s rewrite is nice, but I also think the PS version is cute.
Suikoden II Viki
On the way to Matilda, I met someone in the forest who became my companion, and their taste in food is terrible.
It seems that they flew straight from the victory celebration party of number 1; their appearance with a knife and fork is cute.
The teleportation character has finally been upgraded to playable status in this game and can be used in combat.
It is a character that requires careful handling because there is a risk of accidental discharge, except for the emblem of blinking.
Because of that, I feel pathetic for not using it back in the days of the PS version.
Trying it out in the remaster, I felt it worked well, so I made use of the Thunder Emblem.
It’s less likely to misfire than I thought (not to say it won’t), but when it does misfire, the damage can be no joke.
It seems there were some comrades who accidentally went into a boss battle and got wiped out…
In terms of the story, their role ends when they join, but this time there are more lines, and there are also elements like being a detective.
It feels like the clumsy and silly elements have been added more than in the previous work where Oita Vicky’s character was developed further.
Perhaps influenced by that, the face graphics in 2 have a soft feeling, and that’s cute too.
Suikoden: Vicky’s Saga
Appears in the hidden route of the duel in Crystal Valley.
To enter the secret route, you need to collect 10 LP.
Nash on this route is quite pitiful as he’s constantly being tossed around by Meg, Millie, and Vicky.
If I don’t earn Milly’s goodwill, I’ll get punched by Ouran-san (and even if I avoid that, I’ll be attacked by Sheena).
To get back to the topic, Vicky from this route is at the victory party of 2, holding steamed buns (I wonder if it was meat buns?) and tea.
I’m envious of Nash, who teleports right above and ends up getting squished under Vicky.
In this work, Vicky’s character is explored (which can also be said to add more mysteries), and surprisingly, you can visit her home.
By opening the strange house’s door and sneezing, I can teleport across places and time.
You will encounter various 1 and 2 characters.
Personally, I think it’s cute when someone cups their cheeks with their hands while they’re worried.
And I was surprised to realize that Kasumi has a crush on the young master… You understand about love, huh?
In the end, I’m being piggybacked by Nash. Nash, can you switch with me?
Suikoden III Vicki
In Chapter 4, after Buddehuck Castle became the base, you will join your companions on the mountain path leading to Karelian Rubik.
It’s unclear from when this work has come, and the costumes have changed quite a bit from 1 and 2 (should I say they’re more like ethnic costumes?).
I couldn’t help but think that it might have been better to unlock Vicky earlier, as moving between maps in 3 is quite tedious.
At that time, I heard there was a misfire, so I never used it as a regular again after the second one.
Since I learned that leveling up the Blue Gate and Shield skills from the beginning allows them to perform well as an attacker and healer, they have become a regular character.
The level 1 of the Blue Gate is also convenient for earning experience points as it has a high probability of instantly killing weak enemies.
The likelihood of an accidental discharge is not as high as I thought, so there wasn’t a huge disaster during the replay.
In this work, there are more absent-minded actions than ever during the joining events, but since Look is the mastermind and the final boss as well.
I think it’s worth noting that there are parts where they talk about their memories with Luke and express how difficult it is to fight against Luke in the final battle.
The lines from the final battle are also recommended by Futch.
Suikoden IV Vicky
Personally, I really like the shoulder-baring style of Vicky, which is my favorite design in the series.
After the ship, which is our base, departs, we join our companions near the suspension bridge on the way to the village of Nekoboruto on Ne Island.
It is unclear where Vicky from the oldest era of the series, number 4, came from.
Despite being considered a terrible entry by series fans, I still like it, but one flaw I can’t defend is that the ship controls are cumbersome, which I’ll address.
4 Bikki is a real angel.
In this work, there are no accidental explosions, so I can use other emblems without worrying about them. I attached the emblem of lightning and made it part of my regular lineup.
Even blinking itself is quite useful as it deals damage to level 2 weaklings.
However, this work doesn’t have a front line and back line, so you have to be careful because having low HP can easily lead to being incapacitated in battle.
In this game, you can control other companion characters as the lead on the second playthrough, so you can move Vicky.
I think this alone greatly increases the value of 4.
While the faces in 2 and 3 are influenced by their personalities, 1 and 4 have a classic beautiful girl aesthetic, and I want to say nice job, Kawano-san.
I like both.
Suikoden V Viki
When you clear the ruins of Lake Seras and step outside the ruins, a character will appear and join your party.
This time, Vicky’s outfit has slits that allow us to admire her bare legs, which is nice in its own way.
In terms of combat, the skill for continuous magic is fixed, and as the name suggests, it has a good effect of repeatedly casting the same spell with a probability.
Leveling up skills allows you to use consecutive magic spells quite frequently, making it very convenient as an attacker.
I never thought the day would come when Vicky would be used as a regular character… It was a deep and memorable feeling during my first playthrough.
In this work, there are hints of a relationship with the Shindalu tribe at various points, and there is also the fact that they met Lorelei and the others before Chapter 5 (in the side story’s hidden route).
I was truly confused when Lorelei and Zweik cornered me in the bath; it was cute.
“Should I teleport to some unknown place regarding the protagonist’s circumstances? Or show a slightly different kind of kindness than before?”
Vicky, who is a bit different from before, is cute too, isn’t she?
Extra Edition 1: Chibicky
First appeared in the duel back route of Crystal Valley and reappears as one of the allies in 3.
Although Vicky looks small, she is more reliable than Vicky and has a relatively old-fashioned way of speaking.
You really fit the role of Sierra in the play.
Vicky thinks that she is a girl with the same name, and since Vicky herself doesn’t talk much, their relationship is unclear.
I would be happy if it could be talked about in social games, including its background.
In terms of combat, Vicky and the status are almost the same, but since there is no risk of malfunction, this one might be better to use.
But this time I prioritized using Bicky, so I didn’t use Chibicky much.
I plan to do the Geddo Chris inheritance route eventually, so I’m thinking about using it there.
A conversation event with Vicky occurs in the bath, but at the end, Vicky sneezes, causing a teleport.
A 7-year-old girl being suddenly teleported somewhere while completely naked is not okay…
Side Story 2: Suikoden Star Leap Vicky?
The long-awaited new installment of Suikoden, Star Leap.
There is a scene in the PV where a girl resembling Vicky teleports and appears in front of the protagonists.
Although they are referred to as Vicky on the information site, a person who resembles Gene is introducing themselves as Nije.
There is a possibility that her name is different too, so I would like to receive further updates.
This work is said to be about the Emblem of Change and the Sindal tribe.
I can only hope that some of the mysteries surrounding Vicky, which have been hinted at by the Shindal-related individuals so far, will be revealed.
It’s still uncertain, but there are talks that this Vicky? also has slits like the 5.
It would really make me happy.
So, in this way, I was able to fully enjoy Vicky from the Suikoden series through the remaster.
There are still many things I want to talk about regarding Vicky, so let’s discuss it together, anonymous.
It’s fine to talk about other topics too.
You’re amazing…
It’s a pro… a pro has come…! This level of Bikkimanias… I’m glad to know about 5 since I could only play up to 4…
That guy.
Wow, that’s amazing…
I haven’t even fully played the game or followed the books yet.
I don’t know everything about Vicky.
In the event where you join with Ouran 2, if you make Vicky talk, she makes cute timid remarks.
Star Leap has a fixed emblem for each character, that’s what I’ve heard.
I’m curious about how strong Vicky is, considering she can only use blinking.
There is a possibility that it is power-up to match the social game.
If it’s definitely a recovery type, it won’t go haywire, so using it as a healer is also an option in 2 and 3.
However, in 2, the main character can also be a healer, so I might not use it very much.
Regardless of 3 or 5, I can’t believe you were able to do 4 now…
I realized while reading that I liked sailing on the ship 4, but it was because I had an absurd amount of time to play back then.
It’s true that the remaster came out recently, but my memory is definitely fuzzier for the latter half of the numbered titles…
It’s not good that things like dash and movement related to games are considered skills.
>>20Therefore, the protagonist of Star Leap is set to wear the emblem of the divine travel technique that his father received from Stallion.
>>20It’s an old game, you know…
I feel like Vicky from 5 is the cutest.
During the time when I was playing, the purpose was simply to play games, so I didn’t really care about whether I was doing well or not… I didn’t properly gather companions and didn’t even feel the need to collect everyone.
Now, if I’m going to play, I feel like I have to complete those elements or see the good ending… I’ve started to play games with a rather stiff mindset.
I feel as if Vicky has been there from the beginning as part of the fast travel system.
After going through the series again, I realized that there are some places that don’t clearly tell you where to go next.
After the conversation in 3, there were quite a few moments when I was suddenly left to control the player and didn’t know what to do next.
I played it in HD, and while there might have been some adjustments in version 1, it was quite difficult system-wise, but it was really short, so it worked out somehow.
Since Dungeon and combat elements are not heavily weighted in 2, it was easier, but I ended up crying when I confronted Luka Bright.
>>26As long as you take proper measures and concentrate your forces for the final party, it shouldn’t be a problem.
Huh, 3PT worth!? If it gets wasted and scattered, it’ll lead to serious trouble.
>>35In 4, I definitely had a similar experience before the final boss where I was required to have 2 parties and it was quite a hassle…
First of all, I didn’t know that Suikoden had up to 5 released.
>>27Do you not even know the hundred years of time woven with Tearcry?
I have a memory of thinking that too many unlockable elements in 2 were concentrated in the latter half, right?!
>>28The blacksmith was better off being faster, right?
Tessai will join the party after defeating Necrold or when clearing the game becomes apparent.
It seems that the upcoming social game is supposed to be set before the first one, but I wonder if they haven’t done anything after the third one yet.
>>304 → Rhapsodia → 5 → Star Leap → 1 → 2・Side Story 1 → Side Story 2 → 3, so yes.
“Time traveled back 150 years ago at 4.”
I feel like the fourth one was also short.
I have some memories of wandering around the sea and doing something on a deserted island along the way… I wonder if they’ll do a remake.
>>36Starting from Razirul, being cast out, picked up in Ober, and then fighting against Kuluk.
After that, we liberated various parts of the archipelago and finally liberated Ober before charging into the enemy’s stronghold, so it’s short.
Wand
>>37Wawawa Wand
I like the 5’s Vicky the most.
5 is still worth doing.
The performance of the blinking hand mirror is the best in number 4.
>>42You could return to the base from inside dungeons and towns, right?
If you’re a Vicky mania, you should be able to tell me… What is Vicky?
>>44I want to know.
5 is good.
The character models are great too.
Marino-san from 5 was quite disliked for adding drugs to Berkut.
When I tried it after a long time, I had feelings of not wanting Belkurt to marry Rim.
In reality, I was being coerced and had no choice but to take the drugs, so there was plenty of room for sympathy.
I wonder when the detective story that was murmured about “Waf…” will be solved.
Aunt Jean… I wonder if one day my sister will solve the mystery of that immortality.
>>49The mystery has increased with 5… being acquainted with Zelase and having ties to the ancient Armes dynasty.
The stone tablet of the fifth promise was made by Zelase, but could it be that the previous ones were also made by Zelase?
Since I’m acquainted with Elesh, I’m more than just an aunt.
>>50Time also jumps, so age has no meaning.
I didn’t know about the second round element of 4…
I wanted to marry Lucelina or Miakis in 5.
If it wasn’t for Star Leap, I would seriously wonder who the heck Vicky is…
>>54Aren’t there a lot of characters like that?!
I wouldn’t say I wanted to marry Aunt Saiaries, but I wanted to save her.
What is this guy…? If you keep worrying about characters like that, you won’t be able to enjoy Suikoden!
>>58The sister at the inn in the village of the banner who had individual illustrations in II, but didn’t become a companion and had no noteworthy achievements or anything…
>>61(You haven’t done it…)
(I did it, but I gathered 108 people…)
>>61That character Navi was from the hero event when that kid, Gremio, died.
Even with a proper backbone, Vicky seems to give off a different vibe.
>>59This can be said about all the characters in Suikoden.
There’s plenty of room for delusions and implied meanings, allowing players to make various speculations, which is great.
It feels a bit off to have everything explained from 1 to 10 by the creators.
Even if Vicky and Gene’s relationship is clearly disclosed,
There are always 108 people, so what is this… I can say that the slots will probably appear.
Even in the episode where everything is revealed
It feels more like Bicky for the mastermind to be like “Who is this person? Scary…”
No matter how you put it, it’ll probably make you think “What is this guy…”
I don’t understand the meaning of the flying squirrel of 2 suddenly becoming a companion and increasing friends as a bonus, but I like it.
>>64It’s not about being strong or weak, or whether to use it or not, it’s enjoyable to increase the number of friends, right?
The coupling of Rukubiki is semi-official.
Everyone knows, right?
Shall we elope with Master and Vicky?
Hugo’s father and so on.
By the way, there is also a setting that the child from Banner Village participated anonymously in the Liberation Army 1.
The boy is quite popular…
Mukumuku has high attack power, so I was quite taken care of by it.
But what is this thing… it’s cute, but…
If there were an event in a social game where a Look 3 from a gacha comes and goes on a picnic with Vicky.
I might cry.
A flying squirrel that somehow followed me (Star 108)
>>75It seems that Mukumuku is the protagonist’s childhood friend after all…
Sometimes I feel that even a 6-person party is not enough with so many characters I want to use.
This exceeds the genre.
>>77It’s not that six people in a party are insufficient, but rather that there are too few situations where you can actually use six people by forced inclusion, so it feels insufficient…
I like the later story that Kurin stole gold from the old liberation army’s vault and disappeared after the war.
It feels like an ending that is characteristic of the original “Water Margin,” which had a strong sense of its origins.
Kohno Vicky is a classic beautiful girl with a design that feels a bit cool, and I like that.
>>80You won’t be able to gather! Go home!!
Originally, Vicky was designed as a high-handed beautiful girl without being informed about what kind of character she would be.
It seems that the character designer was surprised to see the actual character of Vicky.
If Star Leap goes well, I hope they also remake 345.
So, is Vicky from 5 the most correct as an illustration?
It’s a little chubby, but…
It seems that number 5 has fairly recovered the essence of Suikoden from the reflection of 4, which is nice.
By the way, the pairing with the young master…
I know that it was popular enough to gather a decent number of works, right?
I cleared 1.2 in the remaster, and while the system aspects were tough, it was fun.
I’m so excited for Star Leap!
I also want 3, 4, and 5 HD, but please port the spin-offs.
If you say that, the first Bicky (the old version) feels pretty lively…
I love the song from 3, so I want a remake with rich sound sources.
