Wii (White) Release Date: December 2, 2006 Suggested Retail Price: 19,048 yen (excluding tax)
I tried connecting the Wii remote to my PC, but it was difficult to use.
When it’s written as “Shiro,” the Sengata Sanshirou inside me gets agitated.
The Wii Classic Controller has a surprisingly good design, doesn’t it?
Was it this cheap…?
Cheap…
There are still many masterpieces that can only be played on the Wii.
I ended up having both of them in the room, aiming for the Game Boy Player.
I wonder if I should buy it second-hand and try my luck with the VC gacha…
If you don’t mind the condition, I think both the hardware and software are relatively cheap in the second-hand market.
The Wii game I bought, Biohazard 4, made it almost like a dedicated Virtual Console.
I wonder if the Cube Controller is easy to use…?
It’s nice that you can use a GameCube controller on the Wii…
The Muscle Marching Song is great, isn’t it?
I can’t play the online Zangeki anymore.
The sensor bar is annoying.
Was it this cheap…?
It seems that CubeCon is really aimed at the people who used it back then.
The GC controller’s LR triggers and D-pad are difficult to use.
Also, it might be concerning that there is no home button since it’s still the same as before.
It was easier to perform smashes with the stick in Smash Bros.
It’s just my personal image, but…
It was cheap, so it really sold well.
The game is thin compared to the Switch.
In the end, I became a player of Azure Flame’s Trajectory.
I tried to start it up a while ago, but naturally, I felt the age of it.
The delivery channel has ended its service.
It’s true that it sold well, but I think this and the karaoke machine’s remote were just poorly designed hardware that limited how you could play.
During this time, I tried my hand at various things, but focusing on one game for the Switch was probably not a mistake.
It seems like the FE series hasn’t increased in price ridiculously.
I don’t know much about the GC~Wii era, so I might give it a try.
It’s unreasonable to say that the Wii was a failure when children who grew up playing it and became huge hits are still gaming fans today, which is also why the Switch is a success!
It’s definitely not a failure, but there’s hardly any decent software other than Nintendo’s, and the drop in performance in the latter half of the hardware’s lifespan was too severe.
The only obvious failure is not including HDMI.
The original Classic Controller is really terrible.
Well, the rise of the DS during that era was incredible.
What was GC used for again?
Is it just Super Smash Bros. and virtual console?
I started using it after thinking it could be used in Monster Hunter Tri, and since then I’ve been using that classic controller all the time.
Well, if we’re talking about standard controllers, then games like FF, Biohazard, Metal Gear, and Yakuza haven’t been released on the Wii, so I don’t think anything would change.
I want to play Pandora’s Tower.
If you want to play GameCube software in progressive quality, this thread is the best, right?
I moved to the Switch without knowing the best position for the sensor bar.
