Lupin III: The Plot of the Phantom Clan
No way! I’ve never seen it before!
The Fuma clan!? Is it really okay to just look at them normally!?
Is it a different voice actor?
>>3It’s different, but as expected, the cast is made up of great actors, making it engaging, and the work itself is interesting, so I love it.
*Starting distribution on June 13*
>>4I think I can wait quite a bit when I think about the years I’ve hoped to see it someday.
The legend of the golden Babylon will also arrive on June 6!
The reason is that the plan did not adhere to obligations.
I felt sorry for Furukawa-san for having had a trauma for such a long time.
I haven’t seen it either, but I’ve heard that aside from the voice actors, the content is not bad.
>>7The artwork is good.
I wonder if there will be more Lupin-related stuff from now on? There are so many I want to see!
>>9There are quite a few movies and TV specials, so there are surprisingly some that I haven’t seen or have only watched once.
>>9Come on vs Conan…
>>27I think both of them are masterful works that successfully maintain their quality.
>>29I became interested in the dimension where Conan can create a hole in the tower’s window with a perfect mutual understanding seen here.
I thought it was a movie, but it’s treated as an OVA.
Now that most of them have passed away, it seems like I can watch it without any discomfort.
I have a memory of seeing it around BS.
I really like Shiozawa-san’s Goemon, it’s quite fitting.
I don’t dislike Furukawa Lupin, but it really has a strong Moroboshi Ataru vibe…
The artwork is beyond amazing.
It is more than worth watching just for that.
Isn’t the Fuuma clan something that was created by dividing into teams for each sequence?
The early car chase scene runs around twice as long as that in The Castle of Cagliostro, racing around at full speed.
>>19It’s not just double; the animation content is completely insane in a good way.
Unless it’s a super big title with a considerable amount of money invested, you probably won’t see something like that again.
Don’t say “C’est la vie,” I like you.
Otsuka Edition of The Castle of Cagliostro
Since there is no one who can be called a director, we are simply extending the runtime with action.
It was on BS12 before.
I think it’s fine to include it in the normally interesting Lupin.
The voice actors are different, and the music is not by Yuji Ohno!
Toshio Furukawa
Ginga Banjou
Kaneto Shiozawa
What an amazing lineup…
I’m excited because the Golden Legend of Babylon is coming too.
As far as I know, the most incompetent Zenigata in the history of Lupin appears.
>>26Hemingway paper is amazing too… that uncle who begs Fujiko to lend him money.
>>34“Could you give me a receipt! Was that from a different work?”
It looks more interesting than Spider Emily.
>>28The addicts of that may not be satisfied…
I wonder if a new vs Conan will come out.
A memory of having seen it on TV once long ago.
I want to see Nostradamus get knocked out.
The Detective Conan movie is wonderful because Sonoko has been given a very good role.
The VS Conan movie was 12 years ago, huh?
42 billion yen in box office revenue is amazing!
Dimension hardly uses guns, Goemon gets married, Lupin dies, and Zenigata enters the Buddhist priesthood, so it’s quite an unusual Lupin, right?
I liked the car chase scene; it was interesting and quite enjoyable.
>>40The new Lupin the Third in the manga ends with Lupin and the others dying in an explosion, so I guess this is the continuation.
>>53When I first saw it, I vaguely thought it was a continuation of something, but I see what it is now.
The artwork is divine.
The character is cute, but has zero sex appeal.
The story is normal.
On the 15th of next month, there will be a rerun of Conan vs. Lupin on TOKYOMX.
The development lacks variation.
Trying to twist the story in a strange way makes it incomprehensible.
Compared to the bad old TV specials, this is considerably better.
The background music also has a strong counterfeit feel, doesn’t it?
It seems that the LUPIN THE IIIRD series is coming, and I’m happy about it.
Aside from the music, it’s just a regular high-quality long Lupin.
I thought you were going for a band in the thread image.
I like the thread image because Zenigata is excellent.
It feels like I’ve seen this before… Is it a story where Goemon stands out?
A story that stands out, or rather, is considered the main one.
The week after next.
Enjoyment
Lupin occasionally becomes available on subscription services, but it has always been so stubbornly absent, so this is a relief… Is the reason it hasn’t been released much still due to the troubles with the voice actor change?
>>52I seem to remember seeing it on some subscription service.
Maybe it was a free release on YouTube or something?
>>52I think it’s a matter of rights including the background of the production being delayed, since it officially exists to the extent that it hasn’t been erased.
Lupin vs. Conan still hasn’t come out, probably because of the rights issues.
I’m looking forward to it because I’ve never seen it before.
My brain mixed up the names with others, and it ended up becoming the “Fuma Clan” in my mind.
>>57Is it Nostradamus’s conspiracy…? It seems there might be something going on here as well.
If there’s a change in voice actors, it will be announced as chosen by Monkey Punch.
There is also a digital comic version of Lupin by Keiichi Namba.
I like it except for the fact that the ending is exactly like that of Castle of Cagliostro.
>>61The ending aside, there’s something overall that tastes a bit like Castle of Cagliostro.
Driving over a collapsing bridge.
The action animation moves incredibly well, but the design of the moving images is extremely plain, which is a waste.
The new cast fit together really well, and it was amazing.
The part where Lupin dies and Zenigata retires from the police might be thinking a bit about the unused cut seen in the preview of the replicant.
