It’s Barbatos.
Do you prefer the plain version over Lupus and Rex?
>>1I like plain the most.
>>3Which one is plain?
Fourth form?
If you’ve counted Iron Blood a few years ago, I think you don’t have to call yourself a newbie anymore!
>>2Read carefully, it’s not a few years ago, it’s a few works ago.
I like Gundam Vidar.
I like Kaerugushion.
I think the fourth form is good too.
The design is starting to increase in a somewhat eccentric way.
I think the image in the thread has just the right balance.
I am an easygoing otaku.
I love Lupus Rex the most.
Vidal’s color is cool first.
I like Bael because he’s simply cool.
Although it’s a kit, Grace Aine moves a lot and looks really cool.
Although they didn’t really shine in the main story…
I think the exposed waist frame is cool.
The Iron-Blooded MS are all cool, even if their waist area is a bit quirky.
I guess it’s Bael after all…
I thought the round one was nice, but I can’t remember the name.
>>15Gusion or Manrody?
It’s a side story, but I really love the Astaroth series.
I like the strong vibe of the third drop gear as well as the meta aspect of the fifth strong enemy.
Greys have really good designs too.
The pursuit of countermeasures against beam weapons.
The setting where weapons became like Monster Hunter because I was doing large-scale MA hunting is great, right?
It was really great to see various Gundams and MS with the common frame and each individual exterior.
However, I wished there would have been some measures taken to prevent the frame’s mold from wearing out and becoming loose due to excessive use…
The coloring of Asmodeus was a bit shocking.
Is this the true essence of a shoe designer…?
The scene where this guy is coolly beating up enemies with a mace and a pommel sword while playing awesome background music is undeniably stylish.
Olga is also cool.
>>25You’re always the coolest and most stylish, after all.
When Barbatos came out, I thought it had a really sharp design.
I like the scene where the ground splits as you step forward and the enemy gets crushed.
It’s nice that the weapon is a big chunk of iron.
The play is seriously good.
>>30The SE is too good.
Beam weapons are so lame!
Let’s get physical with physics!
When asked about my favorite Gundam from the last few works, it’s the Core Gundam + Planets Armor series.
There are also things that are full of playfulness and fun.
>>32Every time a new Gundam series starts, I can’t help but think that Hiroto is probably creating environmental meta armor…
How much of a brutal environment was it, I wonder, in Satanix?
>>33It’s basically reactive armor plus anti-beam coating, so it’s going to be popular, popular.
I like Zagaan because he looks strong just by appearance.
>>34It’s actually incredibly strong… Is this without any reliance on the Araya cognition!?
>>40This is the power of the Gundam Frame Demon!
(…this is hard to use)
>>42However, Gaelio in the story was also pleased with its high performance…
Perhaps I think that the nameless one will prefer Mk-II over Z.
It’s a good sign that MG Lups might have red eyes.
When I can play GBN, I’ll join the battle with a modified Grimgerde…
I love shooting guns with the four arms of Gusion Full City.
Is the exposed bone at the waist not going to break?
>>43The frame is incredibly stiff.
>>46The almost nonexistent armor around the abdomen is probably for the sake of design priority.
Functionally, it’s probably the place that moves the most in any operation, and it’s likely to reduce interference.
Iron Blood sounds good too.
Barbatos likes both Lupus and Rex, but I prefer the calm vibe of the low-profile illustration.
The Iron-Blooded Gundam is just a high-performance antique without the Alaya-Vijnana system…
>>48Well, the horsepower is incredible, but it relies on the Alaya consciousness and the fact that the Graze is way too easy to pilot is something else.
>>55The horsepower itself isn’t really necessary, so the amount that can be provided through greys is sufficient horsepower.
If it were against MA, it might have been a different story, but it seems that just suppressing MA could have been done with Helmwiege as well.
Lupus Rex is cool, but the fact that it hasn’t defeated any named characters is a downside.
>>49Didn’t Juliet get defeated for sure…?
Was it during the Lupus period?
I like a lot of MS other than Gundam, but the recent main Gundam has a design that seems to really divide opinions.
>>51I wouldn’t say I dislike the design of Zeke Aks, but there are some aspects I haven’t fully grasped yet…
>>51I love Okawahara-sensei’s designs, but I understand that it’s difficult to say if they would be well-received now.
My favorite mobile suit design is the Asshimar.
Aerial didn’t really resonate with me.
I like Faract.
It’s nice to just bash with mass because beam weapons are not very effective.
I love the design of Iron-Blooded Orphans; everyone has a pretty villainous look.
I love Iron-Blooded Orphans MS, but…
If we’re going to move this kind of design, then of course we can’t have MS battles every week.
Actually, my favorite from Iron-Blooded Orphans is Landman Rödi…
>>59My impression of the Rodiframe changed too much after seeing it for the first time and after finishing everything else.
You might think it’s a cheap, low-quality mech, but it’s amazing, you know…
And even the horsepower that hasn’t had the limiter removed gets caught up by the Reginleif, so it’s quite a hassle.
Well, it’s actually quite abnormal to be flaunting antiques from three hundred years ago until then…
In Iron-Blooded Orphans, the Kimaris Vidar is the coolest and strongest.
I thought Iron Blood was cool in its original form, but it was more appealing when it was turned into SD.
It feels like the amount of information is just right.
>>62MGSD is too much of a masterpiece.
Sell more, will you!
>>64Iron Blood version will be released soon!
Gundam Base exclusive!
I like the Meteor, the Meteor, and the Meteor.
>>63If you have everything together like that, then please also like the Meteor Star.
There are so many forms of Barbatos that I can’t remember them all.
I like the way it treats adding armor or claws as a different form… that feeling.
One of the things I like about “Iron-Blooded Orphans” is the depiction of capturing enemy weapons and gear to strengthen ourselves.
>>66In a stable state after the second phase, it makes sense that that route is unnecessary, and I don’t think it’s bad, but the capture route in the first half was good, right?
>>77Every time I see the scene of the MS formation flying with Barbatos at the forefront in the first half of the second season’s opening,
I feel a sense of pride in how you’ve grown, but at the same time, there’s a feeling of loneliness.
It’s closest to the phenomenon where developing in games is the most fun.
Thanks to the power, there are things like being able to fly even without wings or being able to do other things while using Dainsleif…
I feel like Spinorodigalumrodi was quite weak…
Landman and Manrodi are capable ones.
Barbatos looks quite different from previous Gundam designs in silhouette, but maybe the color scheme helps it feel recognizable as a Gundam.
It was surprisingly good that the Roddy series continued with plastic models.
>>70I never expected Monkey Roddy to be brought over at the recent hobby show.
I am very happy.
>>70I was like, “Seriously?!” about the monkey Rodiplamo transformation.
Using a big shield to hide the body is a life hack that makes drawing easier, but the recent Gundam series doesn’t use it.
I think there are lately some places that mix CG with hand-drawing.
I don’t really pay much attention to the settings, but sometimes I feel like Barbatos is almost sliding around when moving on the ground.
>>75Basically, everyone is floating and moving with thrusters.
I think it would be good to use the legs as well, but there are also considerations for the animation.
The fourth form is nice, isn’t it…?
At first, I was like “hmm…” about the sixth form, but now I like it just as much as the next one.
I like the Seventh Stars Gundam, like an evil organization executive.
>>80Evil face vs evil face
I originally like the wire gun itself, but the quality of the Isana Tori makes me really love the third one.
They said they understood how to use the Japanese sword, but I wonder if it just didn’t suit Mika after all.
>>82The idea of that and the feeling that it’s more appropriate to smash with a mace can coexist.
>>82The mace is too strong.
Moreover, since becoming a Lupus, I can now also use the sword mace to chop things down.
Looking at it now, aside from the belly area, the fourth one has quite a solid design.
I like Barbatos’ round and sloping shoulders.
Do you like the Kutan equipment too?
>>86…so so
>>86I like it when Gray is equipped.
I think the usability of the mace that was just lying around was way too good…
I like Barbatos’s hunched-over posing.
The pointed fingers and toes make the movements look animalistic, right?
>>92I really like Rex, who uses a mace aggressively, but also has no shortage of finishing moves with his claws and tail.
A small mace isn’t really…
It looks like a maraca or something…
>>94You can play again!
Barbatos is cool in any version, and the combat is great, so it’s ideal for people who like this form to be nicely divided as the perfect protagonist machine.
At the planning stage, they probably intended to shift to using swords.
But the blunt weapon was somehow… better, right?
>>97It’s nice that there are various types of iron-blooded swords.
There are even some that are not used.
The mace that was around there was strong, you know…
I see… I actually quite like Kutan’s deployment state.
Is this mace Gusion’s?
>>101I think it might be some equipment that was lying around, since I had it when I came out from the CGS underground.
It’s nice, isn’t it? Apparently, Barbatos’s weapon was a short sword originally…
Every time a Gundam frame is revealed, I wonder if there was a trend for swords back then.
Having a mace makes the silhouette cooler, you know…
>>104It’s really cool because it has a strong sense of uniqueness.
>>104The skinny body with a huge mace in this villainous face is incredibly unique.
Beam Katana!
I like maracas as they are.
Used for estimates in build-related matters.
It’s good to have not just a regular mace or wrench, but also to have things like a pile bunker or a chainsaw built in.
What gimmicks did the sword have?
The anime side was definitely communicating that they would go with the mace!
I quite like twin maces.
It’s true that I couldn’t take down the named, but I really like how Rex rampages like a demon against weaklings…
That sound of the tail…
>>113Seeing that thing from Hashmal makes you want a tail, doesn’t it?
I liked how Akihiro and Shino were receiving hand-me-downs and gradually increasing their pilot numbers as they strengthened their forces.
I wish there had been a bit more boost to Gusion’s strength and a scene where he teams up with Mika to fight.
>>114It reminded me of the early stages of a game where you manage with limited resources as you progress through difficult challenges.
I like the Lupus equipped with the Valkyria Buster Sword.
>>115(MG option for Helm Wiegler, where only the weapon is made three-dimensional)
>>123Mr. Ebikawa promoting there.
>>123Maybe they’ll release the 1/100 Helmwige, and I’ll want to take it from this one and equip it on the Lupus!
>>115There’s no one who hates that, right?
I don’t know if it’s because of the excess weight, but I love the flames coming out of the shoulders.
>>115I wanted you to equip that instead of the mace.
I don’t really remember much about the Iron Blood battles anymore, but…
Barbatos gives the impression of having killed with a blunt weapon.
But to be selfish, I’m not too drawn to the super oversized mace…
>>119Rex has a lot of decisive advantages, but it’s just a bit too big, isn’t it?
>>119Well, I understand…
But I can understand that that one is the strongest.
>>119Rex gives off a vibe that it is only completed with claws and a tail.
Not well known.
The pilot of Gremory is Reina Ueda.
If the Lupus mace sword could somehow balance both a blunt weapon and a blade, it would have been different…
>>122As a result, there’s a sense of incompleteness…
I think I was as disappointed as when I lost my blunt weapon and my Geass roller dash disappeared.
Each Gundam frame seems to have its own unique sound, doesn’t it?
Barbatos makes a sound like a wolf’s howl, and Gusion makes a sound like hirurururu.
Using dual-wielded maces the size of a shortsword to bash an opponent is quite a treat.
Mika is doing shooting more than the image suggests.
>>131I get the impression that Barbatos uses shooting weapons more with his arms or hips, right after the mace.
>>138I like the folding machine guns attached to Lupus’ arms.
When I first saw Lupus in a news report or something, I thought, what is this Sword Mace? Give us back our mace!
The moment I saw it move, I was already head over heels in love.
My favorite from Iron-Blooded MS is the Garm Rodi.
It feels like the highest grade of legitimate acquisition, aside from getting lucky or relying on connections to score something.
I initially thought the body looked like a pipe or a Metas.
The picture in the thread looks cool with its round shoulders and resembles a knight in armor.
It’s a mace as a weapon.
I like Manto Markosias the most.
>>139A warrior against monsters!
Wow, the sub-arm full open mode is scary!
I like using non-standard equipment like Lupus that becomes a trademark.
The beam saber of Zeke Axes… A beam saber? You might think that.
>>140Zeke Ax had not realized for quite some time that the beam saber transmitter was that handcuff-like thing.
The transmitter and the blade have interesting shapes, don’t they…
>>146It looks like particles are placed on a force field.
My favorite is Lupus Rex, and my second favorite is Sre-gra.
The third is Kaerugushion, and 4.5 is Vidal and Bael.
I like Gusion and Gusion Rebake, but the direction has changed too much.
I love the Barbatos from the Okama Battle the most.
It’s great to see the huge frog Gushion being cornered by Barbatos with just one sword.
Personally, I like Lupus at just the right balance.
I like how Hyakuri quickly dealt with Ojiki after being thoroughly beaten by Rafta.
No, the way to deal with this is crazy…
Sure enough, the patchwork body of the first battle! Cool BGM! Huge mace! Instant kill! It’s the best!
The fourth is a samurai, Lupus is a knight, and Rex is a monster.
I like everything except the sixth form’s arms.
I want the arms to be curved.
I’m sorry, Shino, but I prefer the white one, I guess…
>>153It’s like being teased, I guess…
I was a bit surprised that Lupus has bulkier arm firearms than Rex.
I think it’s pretty amazing that they are taking down MA solo at the point of the lupus.
>>155It was so flashy and amazing that everyone was completely intimidated!
Barbatos uses anything it can find → Heroic and bold Lupus → Beastly and devilish Rex.
I like how the appearance changes in sync with the position of the Tekkadan.
The artwork of the enemy getting hit by a blunt weapon is great, isn’t it? It adds about 30% more coolness to the blunt weapon.
It’s way too creepy that Hashmal has been doing intense hand-to-hand combat unlike before when it was enough to just be a mobile artillery against Lupus.
What is that fine movement? Stop it.
Is Hashmal considered to be among the top tier of MAs?
>>164About average.
>>164I heard that the original source is suspected to be in the upper middle range of the hierarchy.
>>164If my memory is correct, I think it was said to be around average to slightly above average.
It seems that while they are strong, there are even stronger ones above them.
>>164It was anticipated early on that it might be ranked high based on the name.
It seems that it was later explicitly stated to be quite a superior existence.
>>164(I remember that being the official rating, so I was thinking it might have been just some nonsense from the interview.)
>>164Among the ones released so far, including the spin-offs, there is a sense of being the highest in terms of simple combat power.
Even during the calamity war, instead of destroying it by burying the Gundam after launching so many Dyneslaves, it was sealed away.
>>177MA avoids Dainsleif by default, so perhaps the pilot of the Frouros Origin was really impressive instead.
Was there even a depiction of the Dainslef hitting Hashmal in the first place?
>>182There is no depiction of hitting Hashmal, but the fact that there are that many Dainsleif buried means that it couldn’t be destroyed despite facing an outrageous number of MS all at once.
>>189It’s possible that they didn’t just confront with numbers.
The Gundam Frame can act while using the Dyneslave, unlike a machine with just one reactor.
I saw MG and thought, Vidal is so cool…
The main Gundams in the last few works are all unique, and I really like this trend.
>>166But I feel like there aren’t many main Gundams that are completely unremarkable.
Although there are differences in the popularity of works and the popularity of aircraft,
>>176When lined up, you can really feel that the main character has a certain presence.
Basically, if it’s just having a shootout in MS, single-player is enough.
I was lacking the MA technique, and without the Arahaya recognition and releasing the limiter, I couldn’t catch up.
I don’t really understand how that mace’s pile bunker is activated…
Is something not working remotely?
>>170I can’t find anything resembling a switch, and even when the pattern was cut near the root, it was still functioning; if a certain level of impact is transmitted to the pile, wouldn’t it eject?
I like how the cylinder drive looks and the bellows pipe on the forearm gives it a vintage feel.
In Urusei Yatsura, there were a lot of large MAs, but I thought the mid-sized Hashmal was the biggest threat to humanity.
>>175If it’s too big, there will probably be a fair amount of missed shots.
Well, it was probably also a pluma to compensate for that.
I like mechs that have a humanoid silhouette like Rex or Arche, but have a structure that deviates from a humanoid body type.
I really like Rex’s big arms.
When wielding an ultra-large mace, it’s nice that there’s some flair in how it is assisted by the sub-arm.
Haraeru is big and strong, but it feels too big and has some vulnerabilities.
This is just a relative statement, but…
Despite having multiple wire blades like Hashmal, Urhan’s Mehaia is weaker than Hashmal.
Please reveal the settings for Urusuhanto and the game-original MA soon.
>>186I asked for G Generation Eternal!
>>192You’re my only hope, seriously.
Speaking of which, was there a pilot’s corpse in the cockpit of the excavated Flauros?
Barbatos apparently did not have a cockpit when it was discovered for some reason.
Originally, MA tends to be set as a large-scale enemy, but the setting of the MA in Iron-Blooded Orphans was too extravagant and refreshing.
I didn’t realize it during the play, but my favorite is Hyakuren.
I couldn’t help but grin when I finished making the model kit; it looked so cool!
I generally like Teiwaz’s mobile suits.
You can tell from the final battle of the main story, but even a single-digit Dynaslave projectile was causing pretty impressive terrain destruction, so it must have been really serious to have to resort to that.
>>193In the final battle of the main story, it was directly stabbed into the mobile suit, but it seems difficult to kill directly unless it hits a vital spot.
The Iron-Blooded Orphans’ mechs are really cool, aren’t they?
>>195Even the majority of the low-tier production machines like “this” and “that” might seriously be the most related to Iron Blood for me.
If they’re going to animate Warlords of Sigrdrifa, I hope they’ll also do the Hexen War.
>>196The mystery of Agnikapand is finally revealed──
It’s an original model, but I really like the final battle version of Rex.
I love that there are so many gray options.
Like a full weapon in one bundle 💓
The Grays have a certain look to their faces…
