After watching the first episode, I found it interesting, it’s cute, and the world has a transparent feel to it. The CG is of amazing quality and it’s fun. There are parts where I can’t really understand what they’re saying, but I think watching the previous works would make it clearer, so I continued to watch the second episode.

I had never interacted with Gundam before, and I only had the impression that it was a series about humanoid robots fighting that has been around for a long time.
First of all, I learned that Gundam is the name of a specific mobile suit, and that not all robots in general are called Gundam.
Ah, the old one is the Zak, and the successor to that machine is the Gundam. I felt like I had seen the strange masked person before, and I was thinking “Oh, so this is what the Red Comet is about” while watching.
Episode 2 only had scenes that would make otaku happy.
I don’t really understand why they are at war, but the character design feels outdated and there are elements that seem reminiscent of the Showa era, so I thought they probably wanted to provide fan service and recreate the old stories with current CG, mixing in the world view and Sharia Bull’s background.
It seems that the comments and such are a bit off, so I decided to watch episodes 1-3 of the original series on Amazon Prime. There are indeed some familiar cuts, but the protagonist is a boy I don’t know who isn’t Char. Ah, I’ve heard of this; this is Amuro, and he’s actually the protagonist.
Because it’s made by otaku.
As a result, everyone who went to the advance screening of the movie without any prior information was completely blown away.
I had seen quite a few speculations, but on the other hand, I really thought this time it was a completely new work unrelated to the Universal Century…
The label of “indie anime” for Anno-kun’s work, which was screened in theaters and aired on terrestrial broadcasting, is not just for show.
I safely got left behind after entering from Mercury.
I didn’t know when Sharia would appear, but is there a scene in that wine scene that has an original source? Also, Char suddenly exploded and went missing, but is the original flow that Amuro self-destructs and saves the world in the ending?
The first episode of Mobile Suit Gundam is available for free on YouTube, so you might as well check it out.
Well, a certain country’s official website posted a synopsis that revealed the Universal Century, so it didn’t turn out to be an unexpected development in certain areas…
Even if it’s thin, there is a need for a vague recollection like “Amuro gets in the Gundam and fights Char.”
Since it’s a great opportunity, it might be good to check out the original classic, the first Gundam, as there’s a connection established.
I feel like saying that the Gundam is the successor to the Zaku is quite misleading.
In the sense that the lineage of ZION’s MS development was temporarily interrupted and then restarted based on Gundam, could it be considered a successor?
I thought it felt like Mercury in the first episode, but in the second episode I was like, what is this?
The timing of G Generation arriving is just right, so I can study the original too!
Let’s all show off our gaming knowledge!
That’s what the official is doing? (serious face)
Episode 2 is too funny to laugh at Zieg Axus.
My impressions of the second episode after not going to see the movie.
Is this… a gag!? Am I expected to provide serious laughter…?
It was.
I still wonder if it was okay to suddenly throw that in at the end of the second episode.
I think it’s a trap that even after taking the initial curriculum, the amount of information about Sharia doesn’t significantly increase.
But it was generally enjoyable, and above all, the CG was amazing.
I became interested in Gundam for the first time.
That said, it’s just weird knowledge getting in the way; if you’re watching the main story normally, it’s not a gag.
Except for the eye catch.
I thought I had a rough understanding of the One Year War, but I’ve never seen the first one… so I’m watching it now, and with all the various dramas between Amuro and the Zeon characters, I’m thinking this is an incredible masterpiece, isn’t it!?
It seems like the Island of Kukurus Doan was made a topic of jokes, but isn’t it actually a great episode? The Zaku had a strange shape, though.
Suddenly, in the cinema, I was shown an incredible narration that I recognized along with the introduction, and after watching this second episode (including the complete version of the Solomon Fall Prevention Battle), it was a complete mess going back to the first episode.
The order of episodes 1 and 2 is reversed in the theater and on television.
I wasn’t really sure who the woman with the mask covering only her mouth was, who appeared meaningfully towards the end of the last two episodes.
Alright, let’s watch FLCL before episode 3 comes out.
I can use eye catches not only before and after commercials, huh?
They’re going to casually capture a Gundam and a wooden horse.
If they suddenly aired from episode 2 on TV, it would cause even more confusion…
“Since we’re here, let’s check out the original…” seems to be happening quite a bit, which is amazing, Ziek Ax.
I watched the movie after seeing spoilers about the One Year War, but I was still confused while watching it.
I don’t know much about Gundam either, but which one is the strongest?
I was thinking while watching episode 2, did Char really enter the colony from outer space wearing that mask…?
If there is some minor damage to the cockpit block, won’t it die…?
I see, Aunt Kshiria will also become a mysterious person…
I love the story about how the director submitted a proposal that was likely to be rejected by Sunrise, and it actually got approved.
I mean, for someone watching for the first time, everyone in episode 2 is a mysterious person, right?
Even the green guy has a different face.
The first Gundam will do it… If the opponent is a Zaku, then they’re not human! That’s all I know.
Regarding Lady Kishiria, since it appears only in the scene of the Solomon interception deployment, it’s just shown there…
In the anime, the Solomon Fall concludes with just Sharia’s monologue, which isn’t even a digest, so I laughed at how Char comes off as a national hero.
Especially in the TV version of Z-Gundam, the truly evil aspects of the Zeon army are not shown.
When you look at the 1st place, you might wonder if these guys actually deserved to win.
The smell of Tsurumaki in that scene where the cellphone rolls away in episode 1 was amazing.
I forgot where I saw it, but I definitely saw the Tsutsumaki somewhere.
In the theater, it’s not just the second episode; it starts like that from the very beginning.
In reality, the Colonel is a hero who set aside past grudges to protect the future of humanity and the beloved Lady Kishiria…
