I watched the first generation, W, SEED, and Mercury.
I plan to watch what I’m doing now.
I’m curious about the trending content related to Iron-Blooded.
Mobile Suit Gundam
Z Gundam
Double O
MS Igloo 2
These are all recommended items!
Please tell me your recommendations…
SD Gundam Scramble
My favorite Gundam is Heavyarms!
The place where a lot of missiles are launched is cool!
But there are no Gundam models for sale, it’s really sad…
You can casually watch it on the Abema channel as well.
Zeke AxE can also be watched for free starting tomorrow, for sure.
Ganchan is good too!
I also watched Hathaway, but I didn’t really understand it.
The text provided is not in Japanese. It appears to be a mathematical symbol (the universal quantifier). Please provide a different Japanese text for translation.
I also watched Bravely Default.
It’s not Gundam, but…
If you like Heavy Arms, how about MS IGLOO?
There are plenty of cool mechs appearing, even though there are few episodes.
That sounds good, I’ll check it out!
>>68
I think it would be more interesting after looking at various things a bit more.
If you watched Brenpower, you should also check out King G.
>>16
Watching G-Reco from this perspective is also an interesting experience.
G
If you’re interested in something, then go check it out!!!!
>>19
It’s kind of drawn out, isn’t it…
If it’s a change-up, then maybe G∀ Builders or the traditional route with Iron-Blooded OO.
If you’re watching the first generation, you can either continue with ZZZ, Char’s Counterattack, Hathaway, and UC, or watch the Seed Destiny and Freedom series.
I want to capture the flow of how the character evolves from V through Brend and Turn A to G-Reco.
Is it just SEED for SEED?
>>22
I feel like I saw Disney… but I can’t remember much.
Wing also watched Endless Waltz.
>>29
Well then, Seed Freedom.
>>33
I wonder if there was a continuation to this as well.
If you’ve seen the first one, then it would be enjoyable to watch the flow of Z-ZZ-Char’s Counterattack-UC as well.
Is it too high of a hurdle all of a sudden?
>>23
Ah, it’s connected.
I thought only Char’s Counterattack was connected.
>>32
Historically they are connected, but in terms of the story, ZZ can be put off for now since it doesn’t connect much.
It’s not really connected to anything other than the Universal Century, so it’s fine to focus on Iron-Blooded.
If I had to say, I think watching works that came before Turn A would make it more meaningful in various ways.
It’s easy to see, so for now, let’s go with Mobile Suit Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket.
If you don’t mind watching four seasons, you can watch anything.
G Reco Movie
Sambol
Unicorn and NT
If you want to take a quick look, 08 is also good.
It’s from the same era as the first generation.
It’s tough to keep up with so many series with four seasons, isn’t it?
>>34
Even if you look at everything, it’s still less than the Yu-Gi-Oh series…
>>42
There are fewer series that are longer than Yu-Gi-Oh!
>>42
It’s usually done for about three years or so…
If you watch Destiny, you might as well watch it until the end; one movie’s worth makes Destiny easier to digest.
It’s always fine to see a beard.
If you don’t like long ones, I think it’s best to choose an OVA that seems good.
There are plenty of OVAs as well.
(G Gundam)
08th MS Team and Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team.
If it’s short, something like F91 or the one-episode Igloo would be nice.
If you’re enjoying G-Generation and want to delve deeper into the Gundam world, then something like Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket, which has a similar colony story, would be nice.
The content is well done.
Is Build Fighters a story about Gunpla?
For now, since it’s not recommended, I guess it’s fine to skip it.
>>44
It’s not an anime about Gundam, but an anime about Gunpla.
>>44
That series has its ups and downs…
It’s tough to watch Iron-Blooded Orphans for that ending.
I think 0083 has cool visuals and is great.
For now, I’ll save the thread and do some research on the recommended things little by little.
The build-related ones are so far removed from the main story that I wouldn’t recommend them to beginners.
The evaluation itself is good, but…
I think “Iron-Blooded Orphans” has enough interest to watch even if you’re concerned about what others think.
I think OO can be enjoyed steadily as well.
>>53
Is this the cola sour one?
I often saw this in the Kitao thread, so I want to study this too.
If you don’t mind spoilers too much, knowing the ending of Iron-Blooded Orphans might make it more enjoyable.
There are mixed opinions, but I think Iron-Blooded Orphans is structured in a way that makes you want to know what happens next, so once you start watching, it will feel like no time has passed.
There are so many long ones that I might cheat on the 08th team.
Which one is the Psycho Gundam?
I thought it was really cool as a child.
>>59
Look at Zeta!!!
>>59
Z
The build series is interesting to watch after you understand Gundam well!
I feel like building Gunpla again.
It may be better to think of ZZ as a standalone.
I feel that it’s okay to have just picked up a bit about the flow of things like this somewhere.
>>63
It seems like you need some prior knowledge of Z, but you really don’t… Also, it might feel simply more interesting because it is easier to understand than Z.
Sazabi is cool, and it’s great that you cleared Z→Char’s Counterattack too.
I think the length of the movie version Z is just right and easy to watch.
It’s simply a sequel to the series.
>>65
When you look at ZZ as it is, you might think “huh?” but as long as you understand that it’s different from the TV version, it’s not really a problem.
I think if you watch Z, you’ll naturally want to watch ZZ next.
And then, the Prelude ZZ is served.
>>67
When viewed in its entirety, Prelude ZZ and everything about Turn A are quite unpleasant…
Char’s Counterattack
F91
V
The text “∀” does not contain any Japanese language content to translate. If you have any specific Japanese text, please provide it for translation.
G-Reco Movie
The reason is that I like them so much that I repeat them many times.
The romance cannon that ZZ has on its head made my childlike heart race, so I’m curious.
If you like W, you probably like 00 too.
F91 is the difficult game that was released on the SFC, right?
Is it the one with the vesbar?
I think Build Fighters is interesting even if you don’t know about Gundam.
(I’m not sure what this is, but it seems to be a fan-oriented joke) If you can overlook that, it’s a classic story.
ZZ was too dark, so as a boost, they have the beginning featuring comedy.
I think it’s better to know beforehand so you won’t be strangely surprised when you see it.
Hehe, there are so many recommendations!
>>76
It’s good to look at the things you’re interested in!
Even if there are some parts of the story that are a bit hard to understand in terms of order, I don’t think there’s any way you can’t enjoy it at all!
Last time, there was a success story that felt like a hobby anime.
Just watch Re:LIFE, even if it’s only with that level of background knowledge.
Looking at the Universal Century in chronological order… Yes!
0083 has a story that divides opinions, and some characters are really terrible, but the battle scenes are well-animated, so it’s worth a watch!
The super beautiful and heavy robot animation from back then is great, isn’t it…
If I choose something nice, there are about 20 seasons, but…
>>81
Don’t worry.
Anyway, there aren’t that many people who can see everything in this thread.
I definitely want you to watch Mobile Suit Gundam 0080 on Christmas night.
>>83
Watch while eating roast chicken.
It ended up looking like roast chicken…
I really love AGE and the narrative, but I think the enjoyment decreases significantly unless you’ve seen most of the anime, played a few games, and read a lot of the side works.
I like AGE, even though there are various opinions about it.
At first, I was watching it with a skeptical attitude, thinking it was obviously targeted at children due to the character design and early plot developments, but I gradually became more and more drawn into it.
I thought the part where Z shows up as a psycho was interesting.
I’m a bit happy that the thread is progressing in a normal and pleasant way.
AGE is actually quite interesting when you binge-watch it all at once… I ended up thinking that.
It’s different in various ways than watching it once a week.
There are also some that only focus on the parts where the story moves.
Recently, I watched Z and thought they were doing better than I expected.
>>90
It’s long, huh… But you won’t know where and what was explained unless you go through it at least once.
You can understand the structure of the conflict between the AEUG and the Titans in episode 13.
The beginning of AGE’s real-time updates, released once a week, was too tough with no end in sight…
I gradually start to like you.
Thanks for the recommendation!
It’s decided that we won’t be watching for a while, so please turn it into a casual chat thread or something!
(Is it the one about being forced into AGE?…)
>>93
When I actually saw it, I thought, “Sure, the direction is surreal, but isn’t this scene completely unfunny?!”
Some works have special editions or theater versions that are divided into multiple parts.
It’s a good idea to take a look at the first work a bit and get interested in it.
>>94
It feels like there aren’t many highly polished ones other than the first generation.
Well, I mean, asking to summarize a work with about 50 episodes in roughly 270 minutes (90*3) is just unreasonable to begin with.
AGE’s direction in the first half of the season has been really strange…
The Gundam (anime) has variations in quality and popularity, but when someone says, “This is my favorite…” I can understand, because each one has its own highlights, so ultimately, I want everyone to watch them all.
Please… look at X… It has a relatively moderate number of episodes, ends nicely, and the characters that appear are great…
>>101
The theme is consistent, the direction is good, and when I first saw it, I was amazed that even though it’s Gundam, it concludes within the anime!
There are many instances in Gundam where a resolution is not reached within the work.
>>101
The structure of the work, or rather the story, is nice, isn’t it…?
Also, the preview is stylish.
