I think Z is the coolest in Gundam.
But I think the variable mechanism is just too unrealistic.
>>1
The red part is the cockpit, but no matter how you think about it, the full-dome monitor and linear seat won’t fit…
>>12
The monitor doesn’t need to be spherical…
>>12
In the settings, it is a trapezoid.
I was surprised to hear that it would become MB.
It’s cool, but I’m not particularly fond of the Zeta face.
Now it’s one of many handsome faces, but…
It’s awesome to bring this in the second work.
Isn’t the hollow torso design quite sharp as a variable mechanism?
>>5
It should be set up like that, but when it comes to three-dimensionalization, everything ends up being filled with various mechanisms.
I love Z’s side armor!
During MS mode, it gives a natural side armor feel while using the beam saber rack.
When transformed, it perfectly becomes a beam gun while evoking the silhouette of an aircraft.
I also like Zeta Plus.
That gray, sharp-looking airframe and its armament are also nice.
Every time I transform the model kit, I feel like the white part on the side is unnecessary.
So, is it good if something is stuck?
>>8
It’s just like a real blind person, so it comes with its share of criticisms.
It feels like there’s pretty much an answer for balancing transformation and proportion in models, but I hope they put in effort to recreate the size next.
With the current model kit transformations, you can’t place the Zeta Gundam or the Queen Mansa on top.
One of my five personally favorite Gundams.
>>10
There might be many people like that.
I wonder what kind of design it would have been if there hadn’t been a deformation quota.
You should be equipped with a grenade launcher, though.
I can’t really recall the scenes where it’s being used.
>>13
Frequently used on ZZ.
You often rush out without holding a beam rifle.
Only the saber and grenades are my only reliance.
I secretly like launching missiles from my arms.
Your face is too cool.
Somehow, a beam rifle with an extendable barrel, a long beam saber, and a hyper mega launcher are added, creating a good balance.
When looking at just the variable mechanism, it’s quite similar to the VF-1.
It seems that the design decisions for Z Gundam were struggling to be finalized when I watch the first opening.
The Mk2 has evolved from the traditional old man to something completely smart, right?
That being said, the more you assemble plastic models, the more you think it’s impossible to do martial arts with that kind of flimsy frame.
The beam rifle has a telescoping mechanism, but it’s still a bit too long…
The all-around monitor and linear sheet aren’t all spherical like the MK-II, so they are designed to fit in.
MS Body Analysis Body Explanation ② Unprecedented Performance of the Wave Rider (WR) Form That Overturned the Concept of Existing Mobile Weapons The Wave Rider (WR) form has maneuverability that is equal to or superior to that of a normal flying MA form, demonstrating exceptional aerodynamic capabilities. Through the MSA-0011, which includes MS-00100〈Hyakushiki Kai〉, MSN, and MSN00105 Surinatch, it was completed as a prototype and AEWAC machine in the MSZ-006-X1, developed further from the ZZ Gundam conceived by AEA Z, while seizing the enormous firepower from its wings. The main development of MS began with the drastic changes made to the Wave Rider, which later equipped firearms and missiles. The upper half of the MS is modeled to resemble a flammable critical component. It is waiting for the effects of the technology transition of WPA, which is a collaborative product of EX. The expectation for Wave-Type’s standard access both inside and outside international airports is anticipated. The influence of major international locations is significantly observable, and as for MS, the system is developed for SFS use but remains untested for practical applications. The developmental process has involved the use of mobile suit technology and function adaptations to overcome issues. The standard configuration does not follow a singular rigorous methodology but is influenced by a variety of methodologies in mobile suit operation and performance examines. Overall structures are supported by A-HAL settings, and size and maneuvering capabilities are unavoidably examined under new regulations. However, general models are built using prior designs within limitations of established configurations. With increased public expectations for versatility and accessibility, research these alternative developments focuses on maintaining operational integrity and safety for combat-ready applications.
>>24
It looks narrow.
That’s why I say it feels stuffy with Camille.
>>31
Since the images are projected onto the wall to create a pseudo 360° representation, it doesn’t necessarily have to be a sphere.
I feel the same posture in Z’s face design as in Ultraman Seven.
It has deviated from the original generation and resulted in a design that is atypical even within the series.
>>25
Well, it has horns unlike the initial design, so it looks like a Gundam.
I’m curious what would have happened if that hornless thing had passed by.
The cockpit is too big, right?
I think the drawback is rather that the cockpit’s protection is just a thin layer of red armor.
>>27
The Valkyrie only has one layer of armor over the canopy, but it looks like it has much thicker armor than that.
>>27
Also, the shield that would be slightly shaved because it would hinder deformation if it breaks…
Mark 2’s uncle-like evolution…?
I think they are also quite competitive over there, and the impact on those left behind is significant…
It’s not just Gundam, but I’m really interested in the type where the arms, legs, and torso become hollow during transformation.
>>32
If you can operate, there’s no need to be packed tight.
The delicacy that seems unlikely to have been designed by an impulsive kid from Karataker.
It’s hard to understand the strengths in the combat part.
>>36
A weird barrier appears.
Can induce sleep paralysis.
I think the fact that this comes after the first one shows a quite modern sense.
>>37
It may be the case for Gundam, but there are things like Elgheim in between…
>>52
Zabungle, Danbine, and Galient too.
The realistic robots have been trying various things.
>>56
Because Transformers was on air…
>>56
“Compared to those guys and Macross TF, their faces really stand out.”
I think it’s strong when it comes to heroism.
Although it is deformed in a way that is quite unreasonable to carry the whole burden on the stomach, the silhouette is simply beautiful.
It’s somehow fitting that the subsequent ZZ will conceptually resemble a combination of the First Gundam and Zeta.
A shield so hard that it pierces through the zio.
>>42
There’s no way Shield Bash is weak.
It seems like something is being thrust and stabbed.
>>42
It’s the ultimate answer to that shape.
The Psyco Gundam Mark II is being introduced as the Zeta, and the information is really all mixed up.
>>44
Where!?
I really like your incredibly handsome face.
I think they took quite a risk with the main mecha that came out after the success of Gundam.
I felt a young vibe with the new key visual.
0.5 seconds is scary.
Was it around this time for Shadow Moon too?
I realized in Gunpla that the foot parts have a really nice line, and just adding these makes the upper part look great even if it’s bulky.
It’s a bit lonely that Gundams with faces like Z don’t appear much in later works.
When I was a kid, I didn’t understand at all where the head and arms went in the transformation, but I loved it the most because the shape changes so dramatically.
Upon closer inspection, this guy’s shoulders aren’t angular sideways.
I made the MG Ver Ka a little while ago, and I was amazed by how well it turned out.
It’s nice that the hands are properly large in the character design.
Yet the WR form and mobility are also impeccable.
Well, the paint and decals get scratched and it’s complicated.
Once I’ve transformed it once, I’m good to go… as usual.
>>62
I’ve been waiting for the one without the silver on the chest to come out.
Honestly, the wave rider mechanism is unnecessary.
If it can transform and become capable of entering the atmosphere, then it should be able to enter in MS form as well, right…?
I love the volume of flare pants, which gives off a beautiful leg vibe.
This is the second work, but…
This face isn’t often used later…
>>68
Because the quirks are too strong and the series has been established, the original → MkⅡ face has strongly established itself as an icon…
>>68
It’s too characteristic, so it becomes like, “This is Zeta!”
The part where the face appears with a “shakiin” sound in the opening of “With Love to the Water Planet” is really cool, isn’t it?
It’s amazing that Mk-II and Z appear between Elguym.
You’ve over-polished it, haven’t you?
I like it without a slit.
All that’s left is the antenna gimmick and the stylish design of the duct.
It’s not just the face, but the silhouette and color scheme of the shield in MS mode, the flaring shape of the shins, and the inverted triangle-like appearance of the wings on the back—all of these are really cool points, right?
That’s why it becomes such a cool airplane, it’s irresistible.
Mizuno has been a bit too much lately…
