I think it was a hardware with absolutely no time when there were no games to play.
Rather, I have so many games I want to play that it’s a problem.
Looking back, there have been plenty of new releases and ports from the beginning until now.It was actually like this right after the release.
After the launch, there hasn’t been a release for a while, and once Breath of the Wild ends, there won’t be anything to play.
So, even though I didn’t really want to buy the finally released Shinto Priestess, there were quite a few nameless people, including me, who ended up buying it.
>>16There was that mysterious software that was available for download at the store way too early…
I made a good purchase.
I can easily spend an hour just looking at the store.
Including the poor loading operability.
I still can’t digest it.
Even during times when there are no new releases, time just melts away with online bonuses.
I couldn’t break free from the cycle of Mario Kart, Splatoon, Super Smash Bros., and Tetris 99.
Playing Pokémon, then Zelda, then Pokémon, then Pokémon, then Persona, and I’m still playing Pokémon.
I’m grateful that I can clear the portion I couldn’t digest with the high-speed load of 2.
It’s almost become a dedicated Smash Bros. machine.
The amazing thing about Nintendo games is that they can create high added value just from that alone.
Wow! Finally, ◯◯ can be played on Switch!!
…it wasn’t that interesting.
I wished I could have let them retire a little earlier.
What’s amazing about the Switch is that just by subscribing to the monthly service, you can play an overwhelming amount of retro games… Wait, can I play up to the 64?
I hardly played anything other than Pokémon and Ace Attorney.
…yet I have bought a large amount of games… that’s strange…
>>12In the first place, there are quite a few just with Pokémon and Ace Attorney…
It was almost exclusively for Ring Fit.
The others are Paper Mario RPG and the online Golden Sun duology, and maybe MHXX that I bought on sale…
My favorite was Dragon Quest Monsters: Terry’s Wonderland Retro.
Even when looking back at the Wii U, which is said to have flopped, there were many games to play.
>>17Are you talking about VC…?
>>17Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak
When arranged, there are quite a few.
The release titles, when viewed in order from the oldest in the store, are After a Long Time.
After the launch, I really felt like no software came out and I was wondering, is it really like this?
I remember how eagerly we were waiting for the release of Mario Kart back then.
By the way, what about the Silk Song?
The launch year itself includes Breath of the Wild, ARMS, Mario Kart, Splatoon, Super Mario Odyssey, and Xenoblade 2.
It’s released about once every one or two months.
I feel a determination to absolutely make the game successful.
I’ll never forget that Othello was in the download ranking right after its release.
Kamiko was grateful that it was cheap.
I was happy that there were many Wii U ports…
Well, I had U, but I heard the reputation later, and there were a lot of cases where I just skipped it.
>>25Is it only Star Fox that hasn’t been ported?
I bought Shinobirifle because I had nothing else to do~
I wonder if there are people who think Breath of the Wild is a Wii U title…
I bought it around the fourth year, so there are many games I can play for a while without needing a second one.
I can’t break it at all.
I never thought this would inherit the dedicated hardware for beautiful girl games after Vita’s demise.
Those who played Breath of the Wild on the Wii U can’t upgrade to the Switch 2…
>>32The only version that allows you to raise Wolf Link is the Wii U version…
When was the Switch released?
The store was really still difficult to use… Why is the loading so slow?
>>35Browsers actually consume a lot of machine power.
There are a lot of images too.
>>37I used to think that the store being awful was exclusive to PlayStation for years, but that dream has shattered.
>>35Open the store while playing the game so you can buy DLC.
The reason is that there aren’t enough memory resources allocated for the store viewing browser function.
It’s like looking at the internet on a so-called low-spec PC.
What was the flying Boon Boon Burn?
>>36Buh! Bubobubibi!
This software was called the worst and most inappropriate name.
Because it’s a portable device, it’s also suited for playing RPGs in bed with a few taps.
From around the fourth year, the performance hasn’t caught up, and I basically stopped playing multiplayer on the Switch.
In the past year, the only thing I’ve done is play Shiren.
I bought this hardware in 2021, four years after its release, but I think I’ve played enough already.
In the final stages, it was clear that even Nintendo’s software was being played out of obligation, at least with the Switch.
Since I play a lot on the Akekara, I feel like I don’t need to get the Switch 2 yet as it doesn’t fully support everything.
I guess I’ll be saying goodbye to this guy in a week…
I don’t have enough specs for my PC and I don’t own a PS5, so I thought I would eventually buy 2 when it’s ported over, but I ended up getting Monster Hunter Rise on sale for about 2000 yen.
I ended up playing for over 300 hours…
It has done well for 8 years, even though its specs were said to be mediocre since its release.
I’m glad that the hard work on the port of the old titles, which was done frantically during the Switch bubble, wasn’t in vain.
For now, it’s a console where buying at least one Nintendo game won’t make you feel like you’ve wasted your money.
What was ultimately needed was ease of use and versatility.
The only complaint is that the additions surrounding retro games are meager…
Well, the Wii and U were just too crazy.
I wish the wisdom hunting action would be at 60fps.
