Otaku Review Image

I can’t get a perfect score on the test. Why is that? The teacher is clearly stating the key points during class. I can’t excel in sports. Why is that? I should be able to manage it with rhythm and timing. I keep losing in games. Why is that? It’s a computer, right? I think there are patterns to everything… Why can’t others do this so easily?

1: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)10:24Yeahx83

The method you can use is too vague…

3: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)10:27Yeahx23

>>1(I can’t do it…)

4: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)10:27

>>1It should be possible to manage it somehow with rhythm, timing, and full effort.

14: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)10:33

>>1It’s tough for ordinary people to do things unless they make sense logically…

2: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)10:25

It might be the Nagashima Shigeo type.

5: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)10:29

I can’t serve it in a dish without spilling.

6: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)10:30

Is it okay to just manage somehow?

7: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)10:30Yeahx52

It feels like a smart character written by a not-so-smart author.

114: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)11:27Yeahx9

>>7Attacking the author right away seems stupid.

118: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)11:29

>>7It’s a character that doesn’t even know what’s difficult for them, so those fools who are putting “Yeah” in this response are stupid too.

124: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)11:35Yeahx3

>>7But genius types actually say things like this.
I can’t understand why it can’t be done, and it’s too low-level for me to explain something that can be done unconsciously.

135: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)11:44

>>124Nagashima Shigeo was exactly that kind of person and had no ability to develop players.
So for a while, the Giants became like the Avengers, a team that won championships by using the charisma of their manager to pull star players from other teams.

137: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)11:44Yeahx1

>>135Matsui seems to have understood.

138: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)11:44

>>7The evaluation of being smart does not mean that one excels in all categories at the general exhibition.
If you are efficient and have a good memory but are not skilled in verbal expression, wouldn’t it be something like this?

153: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)11:56

>>7By the way, the author is the person who drew Gokuo-kun and Kashibattle.

8: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)10:30

It’s better not to deliberately cause disharmony just because the future version of myself feels strange, so I should try to fit in with everyone.

9: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)10:30Yeahx59

>>8Smart

140: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)11:45

>>8You have done well.

10: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)10:31Yeahx2

What do you mean by “it’ll work out”?

11: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)10:31

I can do the basic problems, but…
I can’t handle applied problems at all.

12: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)10:32Yeahx25

I can’t depict intelligent characters in manga.
Why?
You just need to observe and interview smart people.

27: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)10:38Yeahx13

>>12You’re someone who can’t even attempt to create more complex descriptions in a children’s magazine.

33: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)10:41

>>27To be specific, if you want to depict the question “Why can’t we do it?”, you should demonstrate the action by saying “If only we could do it this way.”
If it’s studying, then it would be “You should just memorize the textbook and listen to the teacher’s talk.”
If it’s sports, then “You just need to remember the rules and keep practicing.”
In a game, it would be “You should just remember the opponent’s movements and come up with countermeasures.”

45: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)10:45

>>33It’s just an example, and this content doesn’t necessarily have to be truly correct.
It’s just that the smart kid thinks that way.

13: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)10:33

It looks like I’m going to cut the cake into 300 pieces.

15: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)10:33Yeahx5

There are people like this.

16: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)10:34

>>15I wonder if they are here…

19: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)10:35Yeahx2

>>16I don’t think there is anyone…
Smart people have a different perspective on things from the beginning.
I don’t place much value on each individual failure or success.

136: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)11:44Yeahx1

>>16“Why do others feel differently when I feel this way?”
There are definitely a lot of people like that.

17: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)10:35Yeahx13

I like the slightly timid tone when it comes to sports.

37: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)10:42Yeahx8

>>17If it comes rushing in, you just need to grip it tight and then smash it down…

60: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)10:55

>>37There is a protagonist in a manga who is not strong but understands this and becomes stronger.

18: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)10:35

Akihabara style followers

20: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)10:36

Why is it that other people can’t do this?
I gave it a try, but I couldn’t do it either…

21: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)10:36Yeahx10

Well, it’s round and round…

23: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)10:37Yeahx1

>>21Why?

26: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)10:38Yeahx1

>>21If it’s aimed at children, I think it would be better to break it down even more and make it easier to understand…

22: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)10:37Yeahx8

Why is that… If I just push through at the right moment, it should be resolved with a bang!

24: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)10:38Yeahx5

Overview by AI
Details
This image depicts a person struggling with the question, “Why can’t I do things the same way as others?”
From the lines in each scene, it is clear that this person believes they should be able to manage things through effort and theory, but in reality, they are troubled by the fact that things are not going well.

25: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)10:38

Why do you seriously dive into Shonen Jump?

28: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)10:39

When I did an image search, the infamous walking poika manga came up and it was no good.

29: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)10:39

I somewhat agree with studying (as long as you take the classes seriously, it’s enough).
I don’t understand the other two…

30: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)10:39Yeahx1

I keep losing in LoL.
Why?

36: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)10:42

>>30Because it’s LOL.

44: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)10:45Yeahx8

>>30It’s because my allies are weak.

47: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)10:47

>>44Why can’t my teammates do this?

31: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)10:39

It’s a serious kind of laughter.

32: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)10:41

I don’t know how old the image is, but I can somewhat accept it if it’s around elementary or middle school age.

34: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)10:41

I think there are times when even an average person might feel that most others in this field are not as capable as they are.
At the same time, there are clearly areas where I’m not meeting standard levels, so I gradually come to realize that “others are like that too.”

40: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)10:44

>>34That’s a common occurrence.
I find it strange that others cannot do something that I can easily or routinely do.

35: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)10:42Yeahx6

I believe that by seriously investigating why this cannot be done, one can become a researcher.

38: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)10:42Yeahx1

Shall we?

39: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)10:43

Is the game designed for the Famicom?

41: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)10:44

Are you someone who doesn’t know what a random number is?

42: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)10:44Yeahx1

But I like characters who are too much of a genius to put in effort.
When everyone around me becomes a genius, I get thrilled thinking about how I won’t know how to put in the effort and will fall behind.

43: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)10:45

What is the title of the work in the thread image?

46: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)10:46Yeahx3

I feel like kids who can exercise might think, “Why can’t they even do a backward somersault?”

49: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)10:48

>>46Why is that? It should be possible with rhythm, timing, and determination.

48: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)10:47

Losing in LoL is because my teammates are weak, but getting frustrated in LoL is because my teammates are stupid.

50: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)10:48Yeahx1

Why are you writing manga? You should be able to get an easier job that pays better if you just do a regular job search.

54: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)10:51Yeahx2

>>50Why can’t I create a hit work? I just need to learn the patterns of successful works.
It feels like it.

51: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)10:49Yeahx1

A professional shogi player somewhere was reacting like the one in the image while teaching their child shogi.
I later realized that I had talent for shogi, but my child did not.

52: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)10:49

There are people who are critically bad at teaching others.

53: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)10:50

Why?
The 21st of January in the year 2001 of the star cluster calendar, 988 years ago, is confirmed to be a Sunday.

55: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)10:53

Just to mention, the image in the thread is a flashback of an enemy character, so I don’t think it’s written as a correct opinion.

57: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)10:54Yeahx9

>>55There is no right or wrong in an individual’s questions.

58: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)10:54Yeahx4

>>55Why? It doesn’t necessarily mean that the opinion of a supportive character is correct.

66: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)10:58Yeahx2

>>55It’s irrelevant whether it is the correct opinion or not.
It simply doesn’t add up as a pure depiction and only brings about a sense of discomfort.
It’s like starting to explain “how to make beautiful dishes” when I was supposed to be talking about “how to make delicious food.”
It seems to be saying something that may or may not be related.

67: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)10:59Yeahx8

>>55Why? Why do you think that the anonymous person would look at the story and sources before and after?
It’s a bulletin board that speaks only through the posted pages…

56: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)10:53

You should understand if you look at it, right?
There are times when it feels like that, right?

64: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)10:58

>>56If it’s just a little drawing or voice acting…

59: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)10:54

Sometimes it happens when I’m teaching children.
Why? Considering the context, one should be able to understand what the author is thinking.

61: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)10:56

It’s funny that after this, Charlie is normally losing to the kingdom.

62: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)10:56

I can’t get a girlfriend.
Why?
Just dressing stylishly with a sense of cleanliness and having interesting conversations should be enough.

63: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)10:57

Don’t you know that?

65: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)10:58Yeahx1

Isn’t running-related stuff like marathons something that timing can’t really change?

68: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)11:01

Is it possible to easily win against an unfair boss in a fighting game, like Toguro’s younger brother, once you figure out their patterns?

75: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)11:07

>>68If it’s 100% reproducible, it’s possible, but with random super reactions and high power, I think it’s a game of chance.

69: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)11:03

I remembered suffering and saying “Idedede” while looking at a page of a light novel that had content like the one in the thread image.
I wonder why everyone is surprised; I just did something or other, but it was like a page full of text with a lot of ruby annotations that I can’t remember.

70: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)11:05

Why is that? It should be obvious just by looking at the map that there are enemies over there.

71: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)11:05Yeahx3

>No.1320090942Why do you deny so strongly the idea that this character has such a mindset?
It should be understood that freedom of thought is guaranteed by the Constitution…

73: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)11:07Yeahx3

>>71I am not denying the thought.
It just says that the depiction of conveying thoughts is broken and only comes across to the reader as vague.
It’s not the character that’s bad; it’s the author’s way of drawing and explaining that is bad.

87: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)11:11

>>73This is a depiction of someone who can do anything with a fluffy intuition.

88: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)11:13Yeahx2

>>87The portrayal of conveying content is poor, and it only comes across as vague and unclear.
It’s different from describing a person who can do anything with a fluffy intuition.

93: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)11:14

>>88That’s exactly what they say…

97: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)11:15Yeahx2

>>88I think it conveys that you are a genius who is completely unaware of such things.
In the end, it was just a good adult getting irritated by a manga character, right?
But I don’t want to be seen as someone who’s annoyed by elementary school characters.
It only looks like they are making excuses by pointing out the author’s descriptive ability.

102: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)11:18Yeahx1

>>97At least I’m not irritated by the thread image.
It’s just that the depiction is poor.
I’m annoyed because some anonymous posts are repeating the same thing.

105: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)11:19

>>102Why is that?
Isn’t it something that can be resolved by closing the thread and just going back to work?

107: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)11:20

>>105That is exactly correct, I have no objections at all.
I will do that.

112: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)11:25

>>107Why?
Why not just ignore what the nameless person says and stay put?

94: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)11:14

>>87It’s about how I can do something effortlessly while others are struggling with it.

72: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)11:06Yeahx3

Throwing it away?

74: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)11:07Yeahx3

Geniuses handle sports better than expected when it comes to taking chances.

76: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)11:08Yeahx2

Well, I think there are some people who can only say that they can do it because they can do it, even if asked why they can do it.

81: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)11:10

>>76It seems that if it’s just within the school, there are probably people who can handle it somehow, even if it’s not a world championship.

83: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)11:11

>>76There are certainly people like that.
If you want to describe such a person, it would probably be something like “Filling out the answer sheet just to get a perfect score” or “In soccer, just running and kicking the ball.”

77: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)11:08

Even if you call it a pattern with someone who reacts super quickly after seeing it.

78: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)11:09

I assumed that the level of being unable to do sports means really not being able to do it at all.
It might be asking for something like being able to do two lifts or something like that, but it’ll be fine.

79: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)11:09Yeahx2

Ultimately, there’s no point in depicting such serious study and sports scenes when the story just ends up with “mastering the ability to produce sweets with genius-like skill.”

80: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)11:10Yeahx3

In fact, the thread image depicts them as shallow kids…

82: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)11:10

Strong CPUs in fighting games are usually bosses with super reaction capabilities, right?

84: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)11:11

Moving my limbs and fingertips to the desired position varies greatly in skill, so when I’m told, “Why can’t you do it?” all I can say is that I just can’t do it…

85: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)11:11Yeahx3

When you can’t do something that others can, as a child, everyone has the thought of “Why can’t you do it?”
When you become an adult, you either start to rationalize or stop looking down on those who can’t.
It branches into three types: either saying vague things while continuing to look down on others.

86: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)11:11

They’re just criticizing a single panel from a manga again.

90: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)11:13

>>86Why?
It’s obvious that there are four panels.

89: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)11:13

I wonder why I can’t clear a game with a fixed pattern no matter how many times I try… It should be clearable regardless of my reflexes…

101: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)11:17

>>89Even if one fully understands the pattern,
Only those chosen can move their fingers exactly as they wish, without any deviation, which can be easily understood when considering rhythm games.

149: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)11:51

>>89Most people who are not good at action games fail because they are panicking or restless, rather than due to reflexes.

91: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)11:14

Since I never had a hard time writing when I was a child, I ended up pursuing a job that involves writing, but I really couldn’t understand why all my friends struggled to write reflections and such during our school days.
I thought that filling out a 400-character manuscript would be a bonus task that could be done in about five minutes.

92: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)11:14

Why do you want to hit him so much… even though he’s being portrayed as wrong in the manga?

95: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)11:15

In a From Software game, I imagine everyone is struggling to defeat a boss that’s incredibly hard to beat, filled with resentment and frustration. But when I peek at the thread, it seems no one is having a hard time, and I feel like I’m going to go crazy.

96: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)11:15Yeahx2

Always playing games.
Why is that?

98: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)11:16Yeahx3

Why is that? Even though it’s such an interesting manga, the weekly serialization was canceled…

99: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)11:17

A genius type who can’t explain logically but can intuitively do something.

100: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)11:17Yeahx1

In sports, being bold is indeed important, but I understand that it can create a strange impression when it comes out in a logical tone.

103: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)11:18

Not bad.
Calm down.

104: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)11:19

>>103Calm down.

106: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)11:19

Thank you, I noticed the update for Kashibattle.
However, the web distribution ends this week, and from now on it will be only available as an e-book.

108: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)11:22Yeahx1

There are quite a few people who only say that those who can do it will be able to do it if they just try…

116: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)11:28

>>108There are very few people who have talent from the very beginning, as they don’t consider the possibility of not being able to achieve at least a certain level.

110: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)11:23

It feels like those who can understand everything just by attending class once have a higher status than those who are more relaxed and don’t need to listen to the class.

111: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)11:25

>>110The best part is that important things are written in the textbook, right?
I know it’s like that, but… it is like that… I understand that I can follow the problems from the textbook for the solutions to the test questions, but…

113: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)11:27

A person who can do and explain it.
A person who understands the reasoning but cannot do it.
They can be divided into people who cannot do either and those who do not understand.

115: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)11:27

I’ve heard from a tutoring instructor that smart people can come up with their own solutions even without learning the formulas.

117: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)11:29Yeahx2

Why can’t I breathe?
I feel like… you can do it without even thinking about it.

120: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)11:31

From the perspective of someone who can swim, there are really people who can’t swim at all, and you just wonder why.
Doing it normally is not easy for some people because what’s normal varies from person to person.

121: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)11:33

I remember the former manager of Chunichi saying something like that in the thread image…

122: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)11:34

It’s quite troublesome because younger siblings are often not aware of what their older brothers and sisters are doing, and they say things like they want to see thread images.
I’m observing and preparing for it one way or another.

123: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)11:34

Disclosed and sued for defamation.
Why?
You just shouldn’t behave in ways online that you wouldn’t do in real life.

125: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)11:36

Why can’t you drink alcohol? It’s this delicious.
Aren’t you just avoiding it without even trying?
Give it a try.

126: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)11:37Yeahx1

I think being able to actually do something is like this.

127: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)11:38Yeahx1

Smart people are good at verbalizing things simply, so their explanations are easy to understand and not vague.

130: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)11:39

>>127The problem is that there are people who can do it even if they are not smart.

131: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)11:40Yeahx5

>>127Desires of a foolish person.

139: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)11:45

>>127The ability to articulate well among intelligent people is different from the ability to communicate effectively with foolish people.

128: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)11:39

Why can’t you understand the code I wrote?

132: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)11:40

There are many more people who are knowledgeable about intelligent people than there are intelligent people themselves, so if I write something like this, I will definitely get criticized.

133: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)11:41

Are people treating the person in the image as someone smart?

141: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)11:46Yeahx1

In the first place, the discussion about whether someone is smart or not is not what this thread is about.
It’s just a matter of whether you can or can’t.

142: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)11:48

The Genji series cannot be stolen.
Why?
It is likely possible to steal with a probability below the decimal point.

143: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)11:49

Aren’t you gradually becoming like Muzan?

144: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/05(Thu)11:49Yeahx2
