Otaku Review Image

Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:03+

If possible, something that can only be done on the PSP.
For now, I’m planning to play Metal Gear Acid, Ace Combat X, and R-Type Tactics.
I love gal games and ADV, so I’m thinking of buying things like Comic Party.

1: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:04Yeahx2

Carnage Heart

2: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:04Yeahx3

Purgatory!
Is it here yet?

9: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:06

>>2This looks interesting.
I also like the visuals.

3: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:05

Gun-Nec

4: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:05Yeahx10

Infinity

5: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:05Yeahx4

Gunshots and Diamonds

6: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:05

Gunshots and Diamonds

8: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:06

Right now, 5Ds is being rebroadcast, and it’s a great time to recommend Tag Force 6.

10: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:07

OutRun 2006

11: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:07

Katamari

12: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:08Yeahx3

Queens Gate

13: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:08

If you’re using the actual machine, I’m hesitant to recommend actions because I’m worried about button degradation…

14: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:08Yeahx2

Hero 30 seconds
I’m going to cry in the scene where the theme song plays.

23: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:12

>>14This is priced at 500 yen in the store, including the previous work, so I highly recommend it.

15: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:09

I can do it elsewhere, but the trajectory of Nayuta.
The challenge is great.

16: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:09Yeahx3

Gundam vs Gundam NEXT Plus

28: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:14

>>16So there are already unicorns… that’s surprising.

77: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:23

>>16I don’t understand why the downloadable version of Renza Portable that came out at the same time is compatible with VITA, but this one isn’t…

17: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:09Yeahx3

Byte Hell 2000

18: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:09

FF4

19: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:10

I already love Purgatory right from the package.

20: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:10

If it’s a mobile version, it pairs well with ADV, and since the PSP version is the best, I was recommending EVER17, but the remaster just came out recently…

33: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:15

>>20This area seems good, so I will consider it.
If there’s a digital version, I think I’ll buy it for VITA.
I bought the remaster of Ever17, but it’s still on my shelf.

59: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:20

>>33The digital version of Rengoku is 1200 yen, but I’m going to buy the sequel, Rengoku 2.
There is almost no reason to buy Muji products now.

21: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:11

Burnout Legend

22: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:11Yeahx1

I think the second part of the underworld is better.

24: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:13

I will not forgive you.

25: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:14

The PSP games based on light novels and anime that were excessively released!

26: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:14

Gunshots and Diamonds

27: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:14

Do you really want something that can only be done on PSP without any vertical multi?

44: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:17

>>27It would really help if you could tell me which ones can only be played on PSP.
I have a VITA, so I’ve been playing PSP games on that, but since there are no downloadable versions of games like Ace Combat X that I want to play, I’ve bought a PSP.
But if it’s a PSP game, that’s fine.

73: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:22

>>44Maybe it’s available on other models, but how about a download-only software?
Heavenly Beat, a rhythm game that can be played with music files added to the PSP.
QRUTON, a highly addictive puzzle game where you simply match the same numbers.
It’s a shooting game called Everyday Shooter that can be done quickly with art.
The high-quality illustrations, story, and puzzle elements of Flash Motor Kalen are some of my favorites.

29: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:14

Classic Dungeon X2 is interesting!

30: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:15

FF4 Complete Collection

31: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:15

Frontier Gate

40: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:16Yeahx2

>>31I will make it Boost+.

32: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:15

Brave Story

34: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:15

Shiren 4+
Make sure to install the update data.

35: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:15Yeahx2

Milho

36: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:15

There were a lot of character games, right?
I don’t remember what was good anymore.
I think the game I played the most is God Eater.

37: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:16

Gundam Battle Universe

38: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:16Yeahx1

Brave heroes

39: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:16

God Eater Rage Burst

68: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:21

>>39RB can’t be done on PSP!

41: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:16

Playing Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax on a mobile monitor connected to vitaTV is the best!

42: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:16

Bakemonogatari Portable

43: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:17Yeahx1

Toradora Portable

50: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:18Yeahx1

>>43It was relatively well-received among character games.
Is there something like a pregnancy end?

58: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:20

>>50Rather, after this, heroine pregnancy endings became somewhat popular for a while.

45: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:17Yeahx2

Wild Arms Crossfire

46: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:18Yeahx1

Salamander Portable

54: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:19

>>46I had been thinking I wanted to try this eventually, but doesn’t playing a shoot ’em up on a handheld make your eyes really tired?
I like STG itself, but the original is a bit difficult and hard to control accurately.

66: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:20Yeahx1

>>46For some reason, is this the one that also has XEXEX?

47: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:18

Last Ranker
It’s hard to convey in videos, but the battles are interesting and the story is good too.

48: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:18

Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha Portable

49: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:18

Damascus Gear

51: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:18Yeahx3

If it can only be done on PSP and there are slim chances of a port, it will likely be a “Portable” series of (any anime name).

52: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:19

Tokimeki Memorial 4
Queens Gate

53: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:19

Dragon Ball Z: The True Martial Arts Tournament

55: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:19

Rockman Rockman
Irregular Hunter X
My Soul 3
Super Robot Wars AP
Saki Portable

57: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:20

Cardboard Warrior

60: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:20

Everyone’s refreshing!

61: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:20

Battlefield of Maidens 2

62: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:20

The female protagonist’s scenario in Persona 3 Portable is good.

63: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:20

Code Geass: Lost Colors
Star Driver: The Legend of the Galactic Pretty Boy

64: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:20

I want to play the PSP version of Daraba.

65: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:20

Toriko’s Gourmet Survival! 2 is quite fun to play!
Since there is a handover, it’s okay to start from the first work.

67: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:21Yeahx1

R-typetac is a good choice again.
But that remake was supposed to be this year, and wasn’t it expensive?

69: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:21Yeahx2

>>67I’ve never seen it in person, let alone how high it is.

78: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:23

>>67A remake is coming out…

70: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:21

That Prinnies guy.

82: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:23Yeahx1

>>70Prinny can be played on the Switch.

71: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:22

Tales of Eternia
Tales of Destiny 2
No transplant to current machines yet.

72: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:22

It’s been coming to Steam quite a bit, you know.

74: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:22

Brave Story: New Traveler is good.
The first two works that were released earlier were quite mediocre, so it is not well known at all, but it is solid as an RPG, and the voice acting is luxurious.

75: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:22

Maybe BOA and GOD.

76: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:22Yeahx1

Armed Maidens

79: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:23

Erminage

80: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:23

The second Z has the most playthroughs among all the Super Robot Wars.

81: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:23

Gundam Battle Universe and so on.

83: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:23

Gunshots and diamonds are good.
I don’t want that negotiation system to end just like that.

84: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:24

Every Extend Extra

85: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:24

I wonder if there are any high-quality anime adapted into adventure games that came out during the PSP era.

89: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:24

>>85Toradora! was supposed to be well-reviewed.

92: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:26

>>89Toradora, Ore no Imouto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai are three great works.
There is a characteristic that only exists in this era, which was overly aggressive in the context of “pregnancy end.”

86: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:24

Akibas Trip Plus
It’s not the Muji, it’s the Plus one!

104: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:28

>>86I had a lot of fun with this.
As a side effect, I became more familiar with the geography when I went to Akihabara.

87: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:24

Wasn’t the black leopard not transplanted?

88: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:24

pop’n music portable and this 2

90: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:25

Has fateEXTRA been ported to any other platforms?

100: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:27

>>90A remake is coming out.

117: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:31

>>100It could be as late as after next year.

91: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:25

There are surprisingly many games like Neverland on PSP.
Well, it’s not available in the store, and finding it used is hopeless, plus it requires a specific someone…

116: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:31

>>91It’s okay when this hand gets dirty someday…
The remake of the masterpiece Spelunky 2 was drawn anew by the Rune Factory people, but it didn’t become a topic of conversation at all…

93: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:26

I couldn’t remember anything else besides playing God Eater Burst for an overwhelmingly long time.
Patapon can probably only be played on PSP.
On the contrary, wasn’t God Eater released on Steam now?

94: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:26

Arrogant for a Hero

95: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:26

How about Narcissus?
Commercial version of a doujin ADV.

96: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:26

Macross Triangle Frontier

97: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:26

The routes for Toradora and my little sister are well done.

98: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:26Yeahx2

NanaDora 2020

99: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:26

R-TYPE TACTICS is scheduled for a remake release within this year.

101: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:27

Patapon is getting a remaster soon.

102: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:27

I like the dating sim parody game that came with the limited edition of Haganai.

103: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:27

Wasn’t there a version of Katamari that could only be played on PSP?

105: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:28

Daraba

106: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:28

Ah, since the scenario in Idolmaster SP is also new, it should meet the conditions, right?

107: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:28

Maybe Tokimeki Memorial 4, Queen’s Gate, and Queen’s Blade…

108: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:28

Outrun2006: Coast 2 Coast

109: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:29

Wild Arms Crossfire

110: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:29

Armed Goddesses!
Mainly mk2!

128: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:34Yeahx1

>>110Since the entire story of the first game is included in mk2, I can mainly recommend mk2.

111: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:29Yeahx1

Zill O’ll Infinite Plus
It’s a masterpiece…

112: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:30

If we’re going to play Escon X, let’s play X2 too!

113: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:30

There are times when I can’t buy DLC, so it would be a bit troublesome if there are revealing outfits.

114: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:30

A time when various anime like K-On! and Haruhi were easily getting game adaptations.

124: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:34

>>114These are not available in the store due to rights issues, so it was truly a brilliance unique to this era…

115: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:30

Compared to the excessively priced GBA and DS, it still feels more accessible.

120: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:32

>>115You can buy one in good condition for around 10,000 yen.

123: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:33Yeahx1

>>115On the contrary, there are many products that make you go, “Oh, was that also released?” and sometimes the items themselves are just like that.

118: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:32

There have been quite a few Musou game ports for handheld devices, but it was definitely easier to play on a console.

119: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:32

Nanoha!!!!!!!!!!
Why can’t it be done on the Vita!?

121: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:32Yeahx1

I will also introduce some items that can be bought at a low price just in case.
Venus & Braves / Land Island Story Rare Land Story
Breath of Fire III / Super Ghouls ‘n Ghosts Remake / Vampire Chronicle: The Chaos Tower
GUILTY GEAR XX Λ CORE PLUS / GUILTY GEAR JUDGEMENT
Rockman Rockman / Rockman DASH 1 & 2 / TIME TRAVELERS

They should all be available for under 1000 yen on the PS Store.

157: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:41

>>121I remembered, so I’m adding more.
Summon Night 3 & 4 and Crazy Taxi Double Punch too.

122: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:32

“Worship Gunner 2 is a port, but it’s fun to operate once you remember the ship design, so I recommend it.”

125: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:34

Macross Ultimate Frontier
Patapon 3
MGSPOPS

126: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:34Yeahx1

I played the Super Robot Wars Second Z both parts to the point of dying.
There is an atmosphere that can only be found in that work.

127: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:34

If you like Mega Man, you won’t regret playing Irehan.
The VAVA mode is different and fun!

129: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:35

The Battle series is famous, but there are also standalone games like Gundam AGE.
If you really think about it, there are quite a few things that can only be done on PSP, yeah.

130: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:35

It seems that if I want to play “Kagaminotachi no Yoru 2” in the city, the PSP version is the easiest to get.

131: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:35

pspo2i

132: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:35

What I played to death during my student days was Spectral Souls 2, but the story progression in this game is difficult to understand.

133: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:35Yeahx1

As I wrote in the thread, I like novel games and ADV genre, so I would appreciate it if you could focus on teaching me about that area…
I think it has probably come up in previous posts, but I haven’t been able to look into it yet, so I’ll take a closer look later.

152: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:40Yeahx1

>>133How about Infinite Loop?
A story where a dead prince loops on specific days to uncover the truth.
My little sister and her fiancé are cute.

134: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:36

Castlevania X Chronicle
It’s a well-made remake, but it comes with the original version and “Moonlight Sonata” as a bonus, which is mysteriously generous.

135: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:36

There were quite a few remasters ported to the PSP for the current Switch.

136: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:36Yeahx1

The world created by Eva

138: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:36Yeahx1

>>136If you like Eva, I seriously recommend Eva 2.

137: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:36

Threat of Axis V
I want to do it on the current machine too…

139: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:37

I wonder why Shiren 4+ hasn’t been ported yet…

140: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:37Yeahx2

Also, there are often cases where even if you can play elsewhere, it’s better to relax and play on the PSP.

141: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:37

Is Ingrid participating in the Street Fighter Zero ↑↑ that is only on PSP?

151: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:39

>>141If Ingrid wants to touch it, there’s the Fai Colle 2, but that’s also not the same as ↑↑…

142: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:38Yeahx1

A lineup that conveys the peak of Dengeki Bunko at that time.

146: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:38

>>142There was something like an electronic book with voice.
Is it the DS version?

143: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:38

If it’s a novel, Second Novel might be good, don’t you think?

144: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:38

Anime, games, and light novels are the flowers of the PSP.

145: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:38

In the early days of the PSP, there was an RPG called Rizer Cross.
It was just an ordinary RPG, but at the time, it was a valuable original RPG and I enjoyed it.

147: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:39

Only the PSP can play the additional town scenario!

148: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:39

You can play Memories Off 1, 2, AR, 3, 4, 4FD, 5, 5FD, 6, 6FD, and 7 on one PSP, but since it’s a port, it’s not exclusive.

149: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:39

Sacrifice in a Sealed Room
The picture is a gal game, but it’s an escape yuri game with an unusual level of difficulty.

153: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:40

>>149All the puzzles were math-oriented, and for me, who loves puzzle games but is bad at math, they were a tough challenge…

156: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:41

>>149It’s interesting, isn’t it?
It is also available on Switch.

150: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:39

For a little fun before bed, I recommend “I’ll be the hero, but I’m a bit cocky.”

154: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:41

Have one VITA and one PSP, putting Inferno 2 in one of them.
I threw the other one at an acquaintance and entered pancration mode.

155: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:41

Light novel games probably won’t be ported, but it’s nice that they’re still cheap.
“When did things like It’s Ten and Papa Kiki get turned into games… I just realized.”

158: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:42

Wasn’t there supposed to be a remake of the R-Type Tactics?
I thought it was going to happen, but it keeps getting postponed…

159: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:42

I really liked the Disgaea version of Infinite Loop.

160: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:42

I wonder if there are any otome games that are only available on the PSP.

167: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:45

>>160How about Alice in the Country of Hearts?

161: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:42Yeahx1

Including the downloadable version of PSP, you can play the entire Summon Night series on VITA.

162: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:43

If you can do SLG, then Wild Arms XF.

163: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:43

White Coat Syndrome: Re:Therapy

164: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:43

Buy the town and 428.
I will not regret it.

165: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:44Yeahx1

Solfège

166: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:44

Carnage Heart Exa
I wonder when the new work will come…

168: Japan Otaku Reviews25/06/01(Sun)19:45
