I wonder if there is a good TV…
It’s better than my TV from 15 years ago…
Should I buy this?
It’s a 24V model, but it’s definitely an old TV from 11 years ago…It’s an old one, but playing The Legend of Zelda on this is the best!
Since it’s wall-mounted, it doesn’t take up space.
It seems that it can output 4K at 120FPS.
Should I buy a 4K TV!
TVs are cheap everywhere now, so go buy a new one.
I don’t know which ultra high-speed HDMI cable to buy!!
>>4It’s attached, isn’t it!
Aren’t you coming along with the thread image?
>>5The main unit supports HDR, so it’s not wrong.
It seems that there are few games at 120FPS.
The TVs of this era probably have terrible delays, so it’s better to change them out.
I don’t care because it doesn’t hit.
I bought a 75-inch model.
It’s super huge, it’s too big and it’s scary.
Which protective film did you buy?
I bought a monitor that meets all the specifications except for 4K, and it was so comfortable that I found it funny.
It was obviously the one I used over 10 years ago.
Even a high-end gaming PC can only achieve 4K 120FPS in light 3D games like 2D or platformers.
A normal, reasonably priced 4K monitor is just fine.
I have the BRAVIA X90J, and I highly recommend it.
Thinking about it, our TV was also full HD. Should we replace it?
A wall-mounted… is that something that exists?
I can’t use that power because it’s in the middle of the room.
Sometimes I feel like I want a projector, even though a 60-inch FHD is good.
The TV in my room is a 32-inch Kamiyama model, but there are no signs of it breaking…
The ultra-high-speed HDMI cable from Daiso is good because it is properly certified.
Since the bandwidth is what it is, using an unsuitable cable can make it extremely unstable when it gets longer.
Then it’s good to go with the accessory.
It’s FHD, but I’ve only had it for about 3 years, so I’m not sure about replacing it.
I don’t watch TV at all anymore, so I’m thinking a monitor would be good next.
Thanks to not seeing it at all, it has lasted way too long.
The monitor side has Ultra HDMI, but the monitor itself doesn’t specifically support anything, right…?
>>27With an FHD monitor, it looks good just as it is.
It’s obvious, but changing the cable won’t make it 4K.
My TV is 18V, but I don’t think that’s enough.
>>29Isn’t that a CRT!?
How about doing it on a PC monitor?
I wonder what the minimum size would be to achieve 4K.
Mine is nearly 10 years old, but it’s still a gaming monitor.
HDR, 120fps, and 4K are out of the question, but I think it can probably be done normally…
Just being 4K isn’t enough when it’s too small…
There’s no HDMI!
>>35Isn’t it too old?
I bought a gaming monitor in preparation for the day too.
It’s WQHD, but…
I’m wondering whether to buy a pro controller.
There is one, you know.
>>37The absolute limited edition will come out, so it’s okay to wait.
If it has a 1 and I don’t need a back button and don’t struggle to turn on the power, then I might as well use the 1… The C button probably won’t be used if it’s nameless anyway.
>>40Seriously, why can’t I wake it up from sleep…
>>44Can’t you do it if it’s A1?!
>>47I can’t do all the controllers for 1.
>>53Are you serious…? That changes the conversation.
If it weren’t for that D-pad, I would think about replacing the box controller.
>>44Controllers not made by Nintendo that claim to be for Switch2 also don’t have the wake-up function…
Is it some kind of countermeasure?
Isn’t it that 4K doesn’t support 144fps?
Do I have no choice but to play at FHD?
>>414K is supposed to run at 60, while WQHD should run at 120.
Are you going to buy the GEO 4K 50-inch?
I think it would be nice to buy a pro controller and a MicroSD later on…
That said, I think it’s a hassle to have to turn on the Switch 2 console every time.
I already bought it.
I only really play things like Power Pro and Pokémon, so I definitely think there’s no need for back buttons.
Monster Hunter is something you play on PC.
There may be individual differences with pro controllers, but there’s no reason to buy an SD card now.
Should I just look for a 4K monitor for now?
>>50This is 50,000 yen, but it’s fine with mini LED that outputs 2K at 180Hz.
I’m waiting for the 512GB SD card to drop below 10,000 yen…
The one I got through the official Nintendo lottery is unfair because I can buy both the pro controller and the SD card, damn it!
>>52No, by the time I went to the store after winning the first round, the pro controllers were already sold out.
The capacity will probably reach TB with the new model.
Even Mario Kart Wii doesn’t have a 120fps mode (external 1440p/60fps and internal 1080p/60fps), so I don’t think you should worry about it.
The requirements for a competitive game are quite demanding.
The color reproduction is quite beautiful with mini LEDs, isn’t it?
The size is just right for playing games on my desk, and I’m using a 24V TV, but it seems like there’s hardly any compatible options available for replacement.
Well, I guess it’s fine as it is…
That said, it’s a rare chance to have new hardware, so I want to set up the environment as much as possible.
There’s no need to forcefully create an environment that fully utilizes all the specs in the first place!
Since I’ve always had a 32-inch, I went with a 32 again this time, but I wish I had gotten a 40 instead.
If you aren’t careful, the tabletop mode or handheld mode might have higher quality and higher frame rate than our monitor.
I just checked my email after seeing this thread, and I found out that I also won at Joshin.
I wasn’t able to purchase peripherals when picking up at Toys “R” Us, but I’m glad I could order the Pro Controller 2 at Joshin…
I chose a 27-inch QHD.
That’s a bit too big.
When using the Switch, it was a hassle and I connected it to monitor speakers, but with the Switch 2, I’m going to go through the speakers properly.
Isn’t it fine to use the Pro Controller 1 to turn the power on and off, and detach the Joy-Con from the main unit to use it with a charging grip like a remote?
>>68I’ll buy the Pro Controller 2 with the money I would spend on that charging grip!
I’m feeling anxious that Yodobashi is still in the process of arranging it.
>>69Before it was in the process of arrangement, I believe it was either on hold or something similar, so I want to think that the reservation itself was possible.
What’s the difference between arrangement and securing…?
I thought 4K had already become widespread, but I’m surprised to see reports here and there from people who don’t have it.
>>72There are people who won’t replace something until it breaks, right?
>>73I wondered why people who play games don’t have 4K, but if they only have a Switch, they might not need it.
>>72There are still anonymous users in smartphone threads who are continuing to use the iPhone SE2.
There are quite a few people who don’t update at all once they think it’s unnecessary.
>>72That’s a strange feeling.
There’s an image that you usually don’t replace a TV or monitor unless it’s basically broken.
Alternatively, a strong motivation like this timing.
Well, if what I have now is still in use, then there’s no need to replace it…
Unless it’s something functionally incredibly innovative or something that can’t be done.
As long as the TV or monitor displays an image, there isn’t really a problem.
Honestly, I’m already satisfied with the quality at the “HD” point of HDMI…
While smartphones have decent resale values, monitors don’t sell for much, and packing them up is just a hassle…
For now, I’ll make do with a 1366×768 TV, and if an Amazon sale comes up, I’ll buy a Hisense or something…
Playing games in 4K is tiring, so in the end, WQHD is better.
The size of the TV doesn’t have to be particularly large either…
I don’t particularly want Mario to be slippery and shiny…
Huh, Mario’s slippery and shiny!?
It’s cumbersome to dispose of old TVs and monitors after buying new ones, making it hard to replace them.
I know it won’t be a big deal once I actually get rid of it…
If it’s a movie-like game like FF, then 4K looks beautiful, but for FPS or action games, it can actually be disadvantageous.
Isn’t it the case that there are more users of WQHD than 4K for game monitors?
We had a 4K TV since 2015, so there’s a 10-year gap with those who still don’t have 4K.
>>91The 4K back then had terrible performance, so it’s better to replace it.
>>93I bought it for 300,000 back then, and even after 10 years, it still has high specs with 1000 nits.
>>97It’s just bulky waste…
4K doesn’t maneuver well, so not much.
Can’t you wake it up from sleep with the 🏚️ button on the Procon 1?
>>94The story is that when the Pro Controller for 1 is connected to 2, it cannot be unlocked.
You can wake up the Pro Controller by holding the home button, you know?
