I only raised Blaziken and couldn’t win against the Champion, so in the end, I brought 5 Electrode and had them explode at the start, then dealt with the remaining foes using Blaziken. In Gold and Silver, there are Electrode being overworked as generators in Team Rocket’s hideout, but actually, you can battle them if you talk to them. Since they can explode from the start, I just take them all and use them as bombs.
