I cleared the side story of “Yakuza 8.”

Japan Otaku ReviewsYeahx1

It was great… really, really great…

The last epilogue had an aftertaste reminiscent of a movie.

Just like the seventh side story, the narrative was beautifully tied together.

I was able to fully enjoy the playtime and sub-elements without getting bored.

It was a great game without any complaints.

The last character was also the best.

1: Japan Otaku Reviews

That aside, I was surprised by how many people are dying in the pirate crew story of the sub-plot.

Until now, such sub-characters eventually became friends or allies, but this time it was harsher than the main story in that regard.

Even after upgrading the pirate ship to its final level, it was tough facing the strongest opponent in the Coliseum in consecutive battles.

It may have been more difficult than with Amon.

2: Japan Otaku ReviewsYeahx3

It felt like the continuation of 7 was a work in itself, but this time it felt good as a continuation in terms of theme.

5: Japan Otaku Reviews

>>2

It was a side story of 7 based on the premise that 8 would come out.

That was nicely organized and well-articulated.

This time, even if you fully explore the side activities, the playtime will be around 40 to 50 hours, so it might be similar in volume to the 7 spin-off.

3: Japan Otaku Reviews

Was my brother Majima always such a nice adult?

I thought that, but at the zero point, he was serious and a good person at heart.

8: Japan Otaku Reviews

>>3

It is said in the story that having Noah is significant.

4: Japan Otaku Reviews

I think there are things that I’ve forgotten and those attachments have disappeared, and now I’m truly an ordinary person.

6: Japan Otaku Reviews

8 was to the level where it should restrain itself in terms of volume.

7: Japan Otaku Reviews

In fleet battles, if you can take your time, it’s quite easy to take down weak enemies one by one.

10: Japan Otaku Reviews

>>7

In a long battle, we’ll run out of healing items and smoke bombs, won’t we?

I wanted a totally broken cannon at the event.

Also, Queen, you shouldn’t turn a luxury cruise ship into a pirate ship.

14: Japan Otaku Reviews

>>7

When you hit the small fry while taking a larger route, you can defeat them one by one without being disturbed.

9: Japan Otaku Reviews

The crazy dog this time was interesting, but I still liked the zero’s crazy dog style with its lawlessness.

11: Japan Otaku ReviewsYeahx1

You’re really good at creating twists related to the heart of the dragon.

I was extremely impressed.

12: Japan Otaku Reviews

This time, both styles have their strengths, and I had fun using them interchangeably.

I thought it was strange when the clone appeared at first, but then they came out with something even stranger in a pirate style.

13: Japan Otaku Reviews

I definitely wanted a 5-star weapon.

Personally, the enemy before the last island of Devil Flags was the toughest for me.

15: Japan Otaku Reviews

I finished the pirate event earlier, so I couldn’t raise Saejima’s level to the maximum…

16: Japan Otaku Reviews

Yokoyama also mentioned being surprised by the many voices from users wanting more compact and supplementary stories like this one after the 7 spin-off.

Well, I’ve gradually started thinking that the loop is quite long, including the side events I’ve been going through.

17: Japan Otaku Reviews

Suddenly interrupted by a performance of Robert Akiyama with the girls from Minato Ward.

18: Japan Otaku Reviews

It was great that the pirate battle was properly featured in the story.

Well, since I was dominating with the DLC characters, my brother was just shooting charge shots from the back.

19: Japan Otaku ReviewsYeahx1

Robert Akiyama’s live-action part was bad because the girl couldn’t hold back her laughter.

20: Japan Otaku Reviews

It was too much of a hassle, so I completely skipped all the weak enemies in the last map of Devil Flags.

I couldn’t find it even if I passed by the edge.

21: Japan Otaku Reviews

I was glad that both Shigaki and Rodriguez, along with Tucker’s grandpa, ended on a nice note.

My brother’s money handling was seriously impressive.

22: Japan Otaku Reviews

I really liked this time, to the point where I wish they would release new works with this system regardless of the circumstances.

I like the atmosphere of the duel.

23: Japan Otaku Reviews

Noah, in this work, has his brain burned by his brother while wearing cutlass equipment and shouting strange voices.

It seems like it will start singing the Rich Construction Company anthem and that’s not good.

24: Japan Otaku Reviews

I thought gathering materials would be quite a hassle, but doing Devil Flags makes it surprisingly easier.

25: Japan Otaku Reviews

I’m glad that Nan and Nishida, who were also characters I liked, showed up.

The reminiscing stories are too terrible.

26: Japan Otaku Reviews

It’s fine to have a self-homage where you’re about to have your eyes closed while being tortured, right?

27: Japan Otaku Reviews

It seems like the bond chat from 7 will be used similarly to how it’s used in action games.

I’m glad I could talk with Nishida and the others.

35: Japan Otaku Reviews

>>27

If I were to be greedy, I would have liked a little more.

I wanted to chat with the crew about tuna fishing and Hills construction in the streets of Hawaii.

28: Japan Otaku Reviews

I really think it was good that the story had no unpleasantness and was refreshing.

My brother’s principles are consistent, and it was really enjoyable to play with him.

30: Japan Otaku Reviews

>>28

I think, for an older brother, you are a little too beautiful…

The setting of amnesia and showing the wide world to Noah, who is a lifesaver, really takes effect…

34: Japan Otaku Reviews

>>30

I wonder if it’s because I am approaching old age that I’m aware of the word “adult.”

If you see such a cool adult, then of course the world will look wonderful.

31: Japan Otaku Reviews

It really feels like a side story with the final boss.

The 7th side story feels unusual.

33: Japan Otaku Reviews

Both Ichiban and Majima-san are way too good at negotiations…

37: Japan Otaku Reviews

>>33

Kiryu-san is going too far with his straightforwardness…

36: Japan Otaku Reviews

I like the feeling of returning to the usual state after the dreamlike revelry in the main story ends and the epilogue begins.

38: Japan Otaku Reviews

It’s truly a story like something out of a movie.

39: Japan Otaku Reviews

My Kiryu-san used to actively hunt for treasure on a pirate ship and beat up pirates.

52: Japan Otaku Reviews

>>39

I set out on a journey with Kiryu-chan for the sake of Kiryu-chan’s immortality.

40: Japan Otaku Reviews

If I had to say something, the boss enemies that can be fought are not very appealing…? Other than that, the story was consistent and interesting.

I wonder if the last Kiryu-chan is alive, in a coma, or something else…

43: Japan Otaku Reviews

>>40

It was a frustrating performance to suggest something while not showing it.

41: Japan Otaku Reviews

I thought even the protagonist Saejima stands out as a character!

I want to have a character who can make comments like this and be a dual protagonist.

42: Japan Otaku Reviews

I wish the pirate showdown had lasted a bit longer.

It’s fun to fight in a large group because it makes it easier for us too.

47: Japan Otaku Reviews

>>42

I thought they would do it at the Devil Flags showdown, but they didn’t, and I was left feeling deflated.

44: Japan Otaku Reviews

“Are you really pretending to have amnesia after showing off that many techniques?” I found Saejima’s line kind of funny.

50: Japan Otaku Reviews

>>44

It’s impossible to kill with a strong blade without a meeting, but it’s amnesia! It’s no use doubting it.

45: Japan Otaku Reviews

Kiryu-chan’s dream is number one.

Majima’s brother’s dream is Noah.

It’s being woven, isn’t it?

46: Japan Otaku Reviews

Well, it’s just that the final boss is a villain who survived the battle for supremacy.

It wasn’t a yakuza legacy that had to be settled like in Chapter 7.

48: Japan Otaku Reviews

That treasure, even just splitting it among the people is a pretty crazy amount.

49: Japan Otaku Reviews

The Devil Flags gives a hint with the silhouette of treasure, but the treasure you ultimately get is that.

Isn’t it the best?

51: Japan Otaku Reviews

What the old man is doing after coming to his senses is just unbelievable!

56: Japan Otaku Reviews

>>51

Since family has become more important than treasure, we must put an end to the seeds of conflict.

Maji’s brother’s purpose was never revealed to anyone, so there’s nothing that can be done.

53: Japan Otaku Reviews

When you add Kiryu-san, Michio, and Robo-Michio and start rampaging, it drives you crazy.

54: Japan Otaku Reviews

From deep inside Michio-kun’s costume, I heard a really deep voice saying “It’s so stuffy…” and it was just too much.

55: Japan Otaku Reviews

I actually like Raymond himself; he’s ambitious.

It was just a small thing that seemed petty to threaten to tell on the queen.

59: Japan Otaku Reviews

>>55

On the contrary, it felt like the Queen was like the naked king with a tremendous drop.

57: Japan Otaku Reviews

I’m sure there are still more crimes of Bryce that haven’t come to light.

I’ll probably become America’s biggest criminal…

58: Japan Otaku Reviews

Bryce must not be sentenced to death.

I would like you to serve for another 100 years.

60: Japan Otaku Reviews

>>58

I’ve ended up living longer than I should have.

61: Japan Otaku Reviews

I’m looking forward to the intensely cool hard-boiled route, just like in the Taisho era!

That aside, please release a festival game like OTE2.

62: Japan Otaku Reviews

The first team of Devil Flags or the main force usually loses in the ship battle for the first time.

Stop throwing bombs.

63: Japan Otaku Reviews

Speaking of which, I wonder if Yakuza 9 is coming out next or if that new Yakuza game will be released first. Which one is it?

To be honest, I feel like wondering what to do about the story of 9.

66: Japan Otaku Reviews

>>63

For now, Kasuga will fall back to rock bottom again.

64: Japan Otaku Reviews

I want to use things like barrel bombs, rockets, and mortars over here too.

68: Japan Otaku Reviews

I realized again that I enjoy playing games that have a good story.

Of course, it was great as a game, but the way the story was crafted was the best.

69: Japan Otaku Reviews

Isn’t this the first happy ending of the series?

72: Japan Otaku Reviews

>>69

8 was pretty happy, well not happy exactly, but it felt rewarding.

70: Japan Otaku Reviews

>>67

There are items that Kamuropp gives you, aren’t there?

Well, it’s a line that you can buy right away if you just put in the money, and I guess golf and baseball just kept repeating endlessly.

71: Japan Otaku Reviews

The idol event was something that really happened! It seemed like it ended fresh with a decisive victory, but the Cheki guy took it all away…

81: Japan Otaku Reviews

>>71

Three warriors of chaos have been born.

They are strong as companions raised early on.

73: Japan Otaku Reviews

Majima really rejuvenated.

I can’t believe you were a fisherman in such a cold village.

75: Japan Otaku Reviews

>>73

(Daigo aging as Majima and Saejima never return from Hawaii)

74: Japan Otaku Reviews

I was wondering how they would bring out the girls’ elements like in a cabaret club, and then Robert Akiyama takes it away.

77: Japan Otaku Reviews

My Daigo at my place worked hard as the vice captain.

78: Japan Otaku Reviews

Robert Akiyama’s actual skit video was seriously funny, but the treatment is just too extravagant.

79: Japan Otaku Reviews

Brother is being forced to give up the child due to the woman’s wishes.

80: Japan Otaku Reviews

I was unable to handle the mill properly in the cooking scene, so it didn’t work out.

You’re definitely not good at cooking!

82: Japan Otaku Reviews

As expected, I was happy with the hospital visit ending with Kiryu-chan, and despite everything, I’m relieved to be alive for the time being even after a year since 8.

83: Japan Otaku Reviews

It’s okay to be opportunistic, but let’s have Kiryu-chan recover a bit and spend some time with the morning glories before we go.

92: Japan Otaku Reviews

>>83

The Daidoji guys aren’t worried about it anymore, Kiryu!!

84: Japan Otaku Reviews

If you’re aiming for the complete set, the toughest one is billiards.

87: Japan Otaku Reviews

>>84

I managed to get through it by looking at strategy sites and videos.

It was tough.

85: Japan Otaku Reviews

The flow that has been continuing since 7 is beautiful, isn’t it?

86: Japan Otaku Reviews

I don’t remember, but I guess if I had a child, they would be around 10 years old…

94: Japan Otaku ReviewsYeahx2

>>86

It was a terrible line that only kills the hearts of players who have properly played the past works.

88: Japan Otaku Reviews

I wonder if a spin-off where I can take action in Spring Day will come soon… like Yakuza in another world!

89: Japan Otaku Reviews

The dragon kart was like a game of chance and it was tough.

I had to redo it multiple times with the receptionist.

90: Japan Otaku Reviews

During the event where we went on a date to Rich Island with the girls from Minato Ward, when the battle started, Ai was holding a gun and I looked three times in disbelief.

91: Japan Otaku Reviews

>>90

It’s strange that all of them have weapons.

93: Japan Otaku Reviews

I have been taken care of by Kaho Shibuya.

I thought the live-action part was really intense.

95: Japan Otaku Reviews

The one-on-one race is in the final lap.

If you realize you just need to stay behind and break through with a barrier, it’s super easy.

96: Japan Otaku Reviews

Is Kaho-chan’s love for erotic things part of her character setting? Or is it reality?

101: Japan Otaku Reviews

>>96

I don’t understand.

But AV is erotic.

105: Japan Otaku Reviews

>>101

Wow, this girl was also an AV actress.

Thank you, I didn’t know because I had just randomly searched.

97: Japan Otaku Reviews

Was it that you were married to the president, or was it a common-law marriage?

98: Japan Otaku Reviews

As expected with the long duration, six girls from Minato Ward are joining as reinforcements and they are just too appealing.

Compared to that, the testicles are somehow plain or something like that.

99: Japan Otaku Reviews

I thought that since Ran-chan is called the fastest girl, she would use some kind of super-speed kart, but as soon as I was overtaken, she started firing missiles like crazy with her cheap tricks, and it was no good.

Moreover, the course is terrible, so Ran-chan keeps crashing on the curves.

100: Japan Otaku Reviews

Battle Royale became easier once I learned to obtain the barrier.

Yeah, it wasn’t that easy.

102: Japan Otaku Reviews

In the one-on-one race with Ran, I overtook him at some point during the second lap and kept sprinting and using Thunder without letting him pass until the end.

103: Japan Otaku Reviews

Even though Dos is a cursed sword, my older brother keeps using the cutlass he picked up from around there until the very end.

104: Japan Otaku Reviews

I was anxious about how many times the Robo Nomi Chiho army would have to retry since I had to retry several times to get through the Kart Versus, but I ended up clearing it on the first try, which was disappointing.

106: Japan Otaku ReviewsYeahx3

Repair

Ryo

107: Japan Otaku Reviews

Even though I’ve lost my memory, I feel it’s sad to make my brother talk about topics related to children, like “What if I had a child…”

Seriously, President Park’s presence is too much of a noise.

108: Japan Otaku Reviews

In Mario Kart, thanks to being able to stock items, if you can get a barrier once, you can keep spamming it and become invincible, so I felt that maps with low difficulty and no barriers were actually harder…

109: Japan Otaku ReviewsYeahx1

The greatest enemy of Cart’s Versus is the time limit.

110: Japan Otaku Reviews

I thought it was impressive that my older brother has no hesitation or inner conflict.

111: Japan Otaku Reviews

Wouldn’t it have been nice if there was a karaoke song for Saejima and Nishida Minami?

Brother’s solo show was a bit lonely.

112: Japan Otaku Reviews

It seemed like it would be quite fun if I tweaked the cart a bit more and added online multiplayer…

116: Japan Otaku Reviews

>>112

If we get too excited, it seems the old man at the hanafuda shop won’t stay quiet…

113: Japan Otaku Reviews

My brother doesn’t have any particular constraints, so he has no hesitation about killing.

The intent to kill in the technique is indeed on a different level compared to past protagonists.

It might have been okay to repurpose the Ishin gun’s heat.

114: Japan Otaku Reviews

This person is turning sixty, right?

115: Japan Otaku Reviews

I’m a bit hesitant about dealing with a thug in Hawaii.

117: Japan Otaku Reviews

>>115

The era is cutlass, isn’t it?

119: Japan Otaku Reviews

>>115

But even when his buddy gets stabbed with a dagger, he doesn’t flinch; that’s truly the toughness of a gangster from Hawaii.

If you do it in Kamurocho, the thugs will get scared and faint.

118: Japan Otaku Reviews

I couldn’t handle the scene where the young staff treated Tucker’s attendant in black as an inexperienced rookie.

120: Japan Otaku Reviews

It seems to have become stronger than the era of 0, which was considered the strongest until now.

122: Japan Otaku Reviews

>>120

In this world, legendary yakuza continue to grow stronger unless they become ill.

121: Japan Otaku Reviews

The old ones didn’t have a very good sense of control.

This time both feel good.

123: Japan Otaku Reviews

It seems like Akiyama might get involved.

124: Japan Otaku Reviews

I wish there were more area attacks or heat options for group use in team battles.

125: Japan Otaku Reviews

I don’t understand what the right answer is for the high-rank pirate crew’s ship battle. I realized I was wiped out, but when I tried again without changing much, the other side was easily defeated.

126: Japan Otaku Reviews

Raymond Law realized that even though they are pirates, the concept of characters and scenarios has suddenly become clear regarding the pirates that actually exist today.

127: Japan Otaku Reviews

By the way, it seems that the testicle bug has been fixed.

128: Japan Otaku Reviews

Isn’t it sad for Kagaki?

129: Japan Otaku Reviews

What are we really being shown in the live-action part of Akiyama?

You don’t need to pull the tenth bath.
