I can’t believe such an amazing open-world game was made just two years after Skyrim in 2013.
ASSASSIN’S CREED IV BLACK FLAG CERO Z This product is not available for sale to individuals under 18 years of age. UBISOFT
The low buildings in the bad weather made me feel closed in, but the fourth one had a sense of openness.
The naval battle was too much fun.
Back then, the UI was outstanding for an OW.
Walking around various places, seamlessly boarding a ship, seamlessly entering a naval battle, seamlessly approaching, seamlessly jumping from sail to sail, getting on, and fighting—it’s truly amazing even when I see it now!
I’m used to it now and it’s fine, but the old OW had complex controls, so if I took a break from the game for a while, I wouldn’t know what I was doing anymore.
I was very grateful for the UBI game that had extremely detailed and careful operation explanations, almost to the point of being ridiculous.
The captain jumped into the sea!!
Looking back now, this was the precursor to the OW (Open World) series of Assassin’s Creed like Origin.
>>6
From Origin, the RPG elements are there, but the OW system hasn’t changed much…
>>6
Indeed, if I restart from the current perspective, it just feels like the old level-clear type of Assassin’s Creed.
It’s true that they have declined, but without a doubt, the mainstream open world system today was created by UBI.
I understand now that pirates sing.
>>9
Well, it’s seriously zero entertainment and there’s nothing around but the sea, so I have to either sing or drink to get by.
The captain is at sea!
To be honest, this game is so well-made that the later Assassin’s Creed games feel almost like clones of this one.
It’s quite far from being an assassin, but it was interesting as a game.
I didn’t really know the tourist spot! It was a bit lonely, though.
The captain was fun.
The naval battle that evolved legitimately from 3 was fun.
The battles were easy and fun to dominate.
I understand the opinion that it’s lukewarm.
The trade fleet was fun.
If there are this many ships, I think we shouldn’t have lost so easily, but in reality, we couldn’t win.
It’s fun to do gun kata with a flintlock, isn’t it?
Even though they were making such a monster of a game back in 2013, the Scavon released in 2024 was so terrible that it can’t even be compared to the previous level of quality. It really feels like there are no capable staff left, which is painful.
Isn’t the battle of 4 quite tough?
Once you get on, there’s basically no overwhelming element other than shooting with a handgun.
I was always killing everything that came at me with a bow and throwing knives in 3.
Since Origins, the fantasy and RPG elements have become too strong for my taste, so I definitely prefer the time when Desmond was alive.
I can’t compromise on having a vertex of 2, but…
I love Unity because of its strong locations with beautiful scenery and cityscapes.
Everything other than the scenery and streets is quite tough…
>>23
If it’s about the quality of the map, I would also want to support the Syndicate.
>>23
Parkour is awesome too!
To prevent accidental hits in the syndicate, it’s slightly degraded, and in Origins, it’s degraded in three stages to the point where it’s unrecognizable…
In other words, this combat system seems to be via Warner (Rocksteady).

2008 Arkham Asylum
Arkham City 2011
I felt that the surroundings had significantly distanced themselves from the stagnation of Japanese games.
Recently, I’ve fairly caught up.
“2, this, and Odyssey are masterpieces.”
>>26
Origin is also a masterpiece, right?
Underwater exploration has a bit of a bad reputation, but I actually quite like it…
>>28
I can only run away from the shark…
I wonder if they won’t make remakes or remasters.
>>29
Can we expect anything from the current UBI…?
The problem of being too non-existent in the development of the rogue language of 4.
Is it DLC? It’s so short, so it can’t be helped.
It’s been 7 years since Odyssey and I still shiver.
>>31
I’m still stunned that the Japanese audio bug is still being neglected.
You can clearly understand the reason why the assassin lost to the rogue at that temple.
The rich are too strong.
>>34
Playing a rogue really makes you understand how annoying assassins can be.
Stop the ambush, you bastard!
>>42
Surprise attacks are the basics, right?!
Dual-wielding pistols is so cool, right?
The remaster was somehow leaked.
The captain is taking a swim…!
Yayyyyyyy!
Yay!!!
Wow! Wow!!!
Is this person a natural-born assassin without any special training?
After this person, almost everyone is a natural warrior.
I’m a little curious about the new Yakuza game since it seems to be packed with Yakuza elements and silly elements like a thread image.
I’m going to suddenly kill a professional assassin right from the beginning…
The wonderful sound of wanting to say Duncan Walpole’s name out loud.
Ungrateful for not recovering the sugar.
Once you get used to the rope launcher in the syndicate, you won’t want to move around the city without it.
It was not inherited…
I still think it’s odd that the old men react with “As expected of a pro… no, that’s not it…” during the assassination tutorial when using the Assassin Blade for the first time.
>>49
I definitely think it would be discovered and turn into a fight there…
My Best Tsudaken
This game was truly well-made, wasn’t it?
It’s basically because I’m poor as an assassin.
It’s obvious that being rooted in society is stronger than any ideology.
Before considering whether it is right or wrong
I wanted to have a rematch with the legendary ship.
The process of the captain’s spirit changing is nice, isn’t it?
>>54
As we reach an impasse, being told by other pirates, “How long are you going to keep dreaming about treasure hunting?” is a bit sad.
In terms of size alone, it is still one of the prominent open worlds.
I’m sad that Adwal won’t board in the final stage…
Mary, so you were this kind of unlikable woman… I’ve never seen a case like this before.
I wonder why I look more beautiful when I seriously cross-dress as a man…
It’s the most fun when we’re goofing around with Blackbeard, right?
I mean, everyone around me is filled with legendary pirates.
It’s sad that everyone will be executed.
A company that was truly amazing in the past.
Well, since we released Odyssey, it’s not like we’re just living off past glory.
>>66
I only remember the little complaints.
The treasure chest can be climbed, which makes things unnecessarily slow, and the gathering scene cannot be skipped.
Sharks and such.
Since the modern edition has turned into a strange woman, it’s gradually becoming suspicious.
I learned from this game that freelancing only feels wonderful when there is a certain amount of space; if the terrain is cluttered or there are objects placed everywhere, it can easily become a frustrating and terrible system.
I was a bit dissatisfied that I couldn’t enter anywhere on the Jackdaw except for the captain’s cabin.
Well, it seems like if you go all the way to the final enhancement, there’s no living space because the gun deck will be filled with cannons.
I found the eavesdropping mission boring, and since I couldn’t keep the story in my head, I wished it would be spared.
>>72
There are quests in other games where you have to keep your distance and eavesdrop, but I have never found them to be genuinely interesting.
I thought I was going to go crazy from having to redo the sequence of catching the sage…
With the double assassin blades, you can assassinate two people at once!
I was wondering where to use this since I’m doing dual-wielding naturally.
Are there any advantages to assassination with the Assassin Blade compared to assassination with handheld weapons?
The ending is the best in Assassin’s Creed 4.
It’s nice that it evolves from the initial shabby Jackdaw to finally becoming a legendary ship that can fight!
The reputation of 3 is bad, but I like the relationship between Connor and Haytham.
I like BH for its ease of playing.
This game also had the strongest event gun.
I liked to board with a rifle.
I like the ending of Revelation in the story.
I don’t need the modern part of the Assassin’s Creed series.
This was the first Assassin’s Creed I played.
I had almost zero prior knowledge, so when I entered the modern part, I was surprised thinking, “Oh, is this what kind of game it is?”
>>83
I don’t think the poor quality of Scabon’s work is at that level.
First of all, it’s a naval battle game, but it doesn’t even have the element of boarding the ships that are present.
>>86
By the way, there was no crucial close combat.
I also started to remember things like treasure hunting and the void, but I’ll stop here.
I was so into the killstreak rankings in BH that I ended up 5th in the world, it brings back memories.
I heard that they were working on a remake, but it seems like that has fallen through…
A new pirate game like that allows you to board enemy ships and engage in hand-to-hand combat, and it’s been teased overseas with comments like, “Ubi should have Sega make a new title too.”
Once… at one time, UBI could even do more than that… and it made me feel sad.
>>90
Most people are probably angry about that matter, including that.
There are certainly those who just want to take advantage of the situation.
To be honest, I was really looking forward to Shadows, but I can’t help but hate the outside forces that turned it into a toy and UBI for creating those gaps.
>>91
In the first place, it was overseas Assassin’s Creed users who were the first to criticize it…
Up until now, I had been releasing a string of disappointing works, and just when my expectations had lowered, a Japan-set Assassin’s Creed was announced that felt different from what I had originally hoped for, leading to a burst of dissatisfaction.
That’s when the outsiders started to toy with it.
It’s just that there have been a lot of good games set in Japan lately.
It was fun to swim into a naval battle between enemies, board their ships, and annihilate them.
